At this point they gotta replace the whole building, everything failing lmao😂
i think of you as a palliative care specialist for that building, just keeping it comfortable and free from pain in its last days of life
The boiler room gift that keeps on giving. This must be the 10th time you're out here :)
Looks like a nice looking rebuild job, they must like you work they got you coming back every couple weeks
Thank you! I'm there every week from HVAC to their refrigeration equipment. Thanks for watching🙏 We operate 24/7 & always get the job done. 100% track record👍
JMT. I was almost a tech (County Maintenance 10yrs.) Your like the guy i always wanted.. to be! but lord thru me some other curveballs. I wish had talent & knowledge as much as u!
Your Vid’s. at least make me smile, with the humor, etc. I just turned 60 in March. My life's experience of World, would not surprise me in the least.. if all in some of them buildings.. Everything (Is Ass Backwards)!!! Ugh.
I Praise u in your hard work & challenges, etc.
Bless, stay safe & i love trying to pick-up any tech information u always throw out there.
P.S. Let’s not forget Kris, either! He’s been & has been a big part of your help, humor & story, also. Dean, West Central Wis.
Ya, take a vacation, I just came back from cancun mexico. It was 85 sunny.
Great video,
Thats awesome! Hope you had a great time. I am now currently in Florida enjoying a mini vacation. About to hit the beach! Enjoy your weekend 🔧⚡️
Bro, I enjoy how you work pure detail. My hat off to you keep up the good work!!!!
Nice job JMT & Chris ... Those words of wisdom written on the air duct was ''A Beautiful Thing'' ...Thx
good eye for seeing the flow directions ....
Jesus bro, you're helping me so much with these videos. You're a legit pro, i cant even imagine the money lol. I'm in the plumbing and hvac field as well and hope you all the best bro
Yeah Bro I feel for you on this joint!! It’s a pump nightmare!
That loop water must be Trash to keep losing soo many pump seals!! I mean damn it’s not like they’re out of alignment. Since there’s no shaft couplings. Yeah that’s garbage loop water.
I’ve always hated Close coupled Vertical pumps!! They’re always a SOB to work on and remove them. They’re always stuck somewhere with no room and up high on some BS all thread and senior strut!
Sucks that your local pump shop screwed you on that pump. I mean damn the Wrong damn flanges. And to get that beast all the way in that room and it be wrong. Sucks!!
But as Usual Bro you conquered that mess!
Great job. I’ll see you on the next one. I watch all of these videos you’ve done. I’m 35 yrs in this trade and the Service Mgr of a 51 yr old HVAC company. And you sir are doing the Trade a Great Service!
Looks like small pumps are a heaater for the idle boilers through the exchanger. Plus those strainers need pulled and cleaned. Get some 1/8 and 1/16 graphite gasket sheet and a gasket cutter . Make your own gaskets on site for the strainers and pump flanges.
New mechanical seals will always leak a little at first until they wear into each other. Had that happen on a circulator that I replaced the motor on and B&G did not have an old motor on shelf. Ended up getting a similar motor and having a machinist make a shaft for the impeller attach to and use a standard off the shelf motor with a shaft coupling.
That is weird, that y-strainer is indeed normally mounted in the suction line. If the strainer is mounted in the discharge line the filter is also mounted wrong it must be flipped 180 degrees.
Great Video. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice weekend
P.S. Additional Comment: Also, Probably is reason why curtain pumps keep going out, seeing gaskets leaking, Strainer & seeing crust leakage in different piping gaskets, pump areas, etc. Everything seems could be getting back/reverse, simultaneous, pressures or something weird.
It may all be, Ass Backwards! Just Sayin’. Damn Good Observant, JMT!
Job well done JMT 👏
Thank you brother! 🙏🔧⚡️
Love your work ethic bro, thanks for the educational videos
i'm glad you had the last pump rebuilt having a back up to change the next leaking one
Nice work as always Jumper man.
Thank you Steven! 🙏🔧⚡️🤙
I have nothing to do with your profession, but I'm always very impressed by your work. Thank you for your great videos.
In my very limited experience looking at large-scale plumbing in hospitals, clinics, and supermarkets (service areas and public areas) they are always adorned with colour-coded arrows along the length of the pipes, with labels printed on the insulation.
This may be unique to the Borough I worked in though (I also live in a country within Europe).
Would this area you are working in have been equally well-labeled when built?
Hard working team
💯 Thanks for watching! 👍🔧⚡️
Have you still got the pressure regulator bypassed ? You could be over pressurising the whole system, and blowing the seals out !
Could you ask the property if there are any mechanical drawings? I would think that's system was designed by an engineer. And there should be some drawings..
I asked the engineer & there are no drawings. Honestly wish I had drawings. Something is definitely off here. After 19 years and so many techs, who knows what happened. Thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️
Check the expansion tank, relief valve and pressure regulator. Pump seals are a weak spot in hydronic systems
well done JMT⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you!! 🙏🔧⚡️
They have the Pipe the wrong way round, Return should connect Pipe incoming into PHX and Flow Should connect with pipe coming out of the PHX.
Does a small boiler loop like that even need multiple pumps on it?
why are the gauges on the last one you changed pinned all the way to the max
I think there only 100 psi gauges.
Hopefully someone is asking why the seals are failing. Debris in the line? Is the water treated properly? How old? What has changed? Etc etc
Another day, another leak in this building
Seals going because the pumps are fighting each other?
Suction always goes in to the rotational center of a centrigul pump.
Poetry in motion 👍💯💯💯
If you put headphones on when listening to this video you can tell that bearings are going bad on multiple motors you can hear metal grinding on metal. That building seems like the definition of until completely falls apart we're not paying to get it fixed.
Its pretty typical pump room noise, mechanical pumps and hi freq from the electric motors.
What a big headache 😊😊😊 With the water direction 😢
from Bangladesh
Greetings to Bangladesh from USA🔧⚡️ Thank you for watching!
hey a good trick to collect the water that comes out drill a hole at the bottom of that garbage can and put a spigot and run a water hose to the drain. its a good temporary fix till you can get a new pump.
Those two parts you cut would be good for under that base instead of the rotten wood
Haha facts. That wood was a bad idea in that environment. The other pumps are all supposed by wood if you can see in the video. Bad design. Thanks for watching my friend! 🙏🔧⚡️
Need some serious water treatment
You really gotta watch those little wires the fly off and go right in your eye on your wire wheel
Back to the drawing board Jumper
You just did what I was commenting on. Lol😂 cutting that c channel
Time to sell them some spiral magnet filters and make the janitorial staff clean them once a week.
You probably could replace those pumps with some euro style grunfos magna pumps. They are pretty tough and will save a ton of power if those pumps run 24/7.
no way are magnas lasting more than 5 minutes in water like that. the flow sensors would get clogged straight away.
# 4 need to replaced soon very soon like today
😻💚💜💚
💜🔧⚡️
No pm!!!!!
💯💯💯
On to this one jmt money pit
Haha facts. The years of neglect bring me a lot of work. Thanks for watching & enjoy your weekend! 🔧⚡️
That might be why your pumps keep leaking.
God Almighty that place is in constant need of repair(s).
I believe it is due to lack of preventive maintenance.
I did this kind of work for years all I can say if you want to be a professional get the right tools a hammer some have wrenchs and a cordless impact. Those things save time make you more money right tool for the jobs. It drives me crazy to see things done half assed. If buying a tool makes your job easier then it's a no brainer.
seals are not very hard to do, do it yourself and save the customer.
Need a big hammer 😮
My money’s on the pump bring reversed. Probably more than once.
More problems wrong directions and labeling
💯💯💯🤯🤯🤯
Poor water quality.
💯💯💯
Nice job
