Yes! Good one! Lots of people want to keep their existing numbers and porting them over is always an option. Thank you 🙏

Hi Shervin, I had to pick your brain regarding one of the commonly asked questions by customers. Whats the replacement solution for PLAR based scenarios? Back in Cisco, you could create a PLAR Translation pattern that allows handsets installed in lifts (without a Keypad) to go off-hook and ring a security office if required. Do we have a solution in MS Teams that currently supports it or there is a User Voice/Roadmap?

Hi Kuwar, thank you for the question! I have a teammate, Arshad Shaikh, who has successfully setup PLAR on a teams phone. I’ve seen it working live in his lab environment. I’ll see if I can dig up more info on his config. Alternatively, try hitting him up on LinkedIn.

Kuwar, I spoke to Arshad. Basically TODAY, the way we can get this to work is PLAR from an analog phone connected to an ATA. That works perfectly and most of the config is done on the ATA and SBC that phone is connected to (vs. the Teams Admin Center). Unfortunately if it's a Teams (IP) phone, you can't setup PLAR yet (roadmap). So hopefully the analog phone methods works for you.

@@CollaborationSimplified thanks for confirming on that. Is there a specific UserVoice for this? I would like to make my vote count 😊.

    Good informative video... 👍
I recently attended a session on "Anywhere365 Attendant Console for Microsoft Teams", maybe you can make a video on it as there isn't much information available on Internet.

Thank you, that’s a great idea! Attendant Console and Contact Center for Teams are important topics. Appreciate it!
