Probably a little late to your water concern but that would actually be a water drain from your rain rail to your soft top. Its simply there to keep the water from collecting under. Cheers

i came here trying to fix my airbag blinking 06 code which is in a majority of my miatas.
the drainage behind the door and in front of the rear wheel is the draining point for the rain well. i’m sure somebody else has probably already answered that. when buying a new used miata i always dump a water bottle on the top to see how efficiently it drains. at that point.

Have you check Miata forms for airbag light problems? The person probably took the light out so it won't flash either when they had a aftermarket wheel and/or when they were trying to sell it.

Yeah I checked after the video it looks like I might need a new airbag module. I honestly think I’m just going to invest in a roll bar and get a aftermarket steering wheel since I don’t drive it super often. I know it’s against what I said but atleast the roll bar will give me a little safety if I crash or obviously roll 😂

@@kys_garage898 i think that would be wiser in the long run. who wants an 30 year old air bag to employ?!?

5:54 that's connector for "key reminder" buzzer very annoying so it's disconnected

Hey man, if unplugging the closed (good) fuse yielded the same error code, then the airbag module is disconnected from the sensor, or there is a break in the circuit otherwise. Also, if your A/C is choked up somewhere it causes hot spots around the choke and runs cold after, which will kill your compressor. If the compressor runs really heavy it will create a bunch of condensation in the a/c system which will pour water into your chassis.
