What are Power Chains?
Power chains are made of an elastic material and consist of many connected rings. They're added to braces to apply more force to an area of your mouth. They're often used to close gaps between teeth, but can also help align your teeth and jaw
Do Power Chains Hurt? As with any adjustment, there will be some discomfort as new force is applied to your teeth. Power chains on braces do not cause significantly more pain than any other type of treatment. You will likely be sore for a few days after the orthodontist applies and adjusts them.
Are power chains the last step in braces?
Usually, power chains become part of your treatment after the first phase of alignment. They can be used to help align your teeth or correct your bite, but are most often used to close gaps between the teeth.
How quickly do power chains work?
Power chain braces typically take about six weeks to be effective, though each case is unique. It's essential to care for your mouth during this time properly.

Do orthodontic hygienist need additional certification?
I got a question so I have like teeth that look like vampire teeth but they are in my gums and I have teeth under them and my question is would I need to get spacers or would they pull teeth out ?
u have the same case as me and i used to wear braces for like 2 and half years, maybe it depends on how big the jaw is but for my case they would pull the teeth out to get some spaces
I got my braces off on April 11th, 2022. I only had them for a year and 3 months. I got them on January 13th,2021

Braces ഇട്ടിട്ട് കപ്പലണ്ടി കഴിച്ചാൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും പ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ടോ. ആദ്യം അത് നുറുക്കി കഴിച്ചപ്പോൾ പല്ലിൽ ഒരു weight തോന്നിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് അത് പൊടിച്ച് കഴിച്ചു
