Make sure before signing any contract that there is a retainer warranty . We have this in my old ortho office and if something happens to their retainers, instead of paying 600+ for new ones , our patients would pay a small fee to get replacements

Hi my friend and so sorry to hear that! it happens... the midline sometimes it's really complicated to set it straight, are you really bother by this? There is a classic example of midline not aligned with the Actor TOM CRUISE you can check it out, but if you really want to try to accomplish the alignment of your midline you can get braces again talk to your dentist about what is the main reason of doing braces again and there is no other side effects other than the ones you can have with the first time meaning staining and cavities if you neglect your dental hygiene! I'm getting braces on my bottom teeth because they need a little tweaking. If you just got your braces off, please wear a retainer. I didn't know as a teen that I would have to wear them every night. Thankfully, I only need them for a short time. But videos like this help.

sometimes at the ortho i used to work at , the DR would see the patient in 6 months and notices some changes because the patient didn’t wear their retainer, sometimes he would offer braces for free and shorter time period 4-6 months and the Invisalign part would be either a discount or even free but longer treatment time 10-12 months-- hence probably patient chose braces
I had to get braces put back on about a month or 2 after getting them off because one of my bottom teeth, that was pulled forward, started shifting back to its original position while my retainer was still being made. After they fixed it i had a permanent retainer put it so that doesnt happen again.

I have my permanent retainer at the bottom and my top and bottom still shifted😭I had braces for 5 1/2 yrs, lost my retainers due to a move and got told that I can buy more retainers and they will take imprints of the teeth that are shifted 💀atp it’s no point of buying them… time to get braces again 🙃

Im getting braces again.. I was going through a horrible breakup and didnt use my retainers for a month and my bite opened up slightly. Totally not back to the starting line it looks amazong not gonna lie but i want my bite closed completely.
I had braces in 2006 had a minor relapse in my K9 and in a few others but nothing major. Today 6/29/23 had braces put on in Bogota, Colombia 🇨🇴 for 650,000 COP which is $156.00. Metal on top and bottom. Amazing Orthopedic Team. First time around in 2006 I paid $5000. 😂 🇺🇸

Begs the question why didn’t the patient opt for clear aligners when such minimal adjustments were needed?
