Dear all. Unfortunately, it's like always when you do a giveaway on youtube: Scammers try to contact you and pull you to other social media channels. Please note that I will announce the winner exclusively via a community post on this channel. This will happen only in the beginning of August. I will never ask you to come on telegram. Please be careful with your data and pay attention to the exact spelling of the channel name

I know thousands of people are watching 22 persons playing with a leather ball, a beer on their hand. Pretty same for me, with one person playing with tools, testing beers and spending 1000 hours for 30 seconds of stop motion. Don't change anything, I'm so happy to see your videos ! Cheers from south of France !

    Professional welder here.
What our beloved Doctor Beer says, is true. Your screens don't display the damaging parts when it comes to welding, it just shows off how bright it really is, which sure, can be a bit hurtful in dark spaces, but generally, what you're seeing is very safe for your eyes.
Or at least, you won't be getting "weld eyes" from it, like you would if you'd be looking into it in real life. (Though with how minimal this particular weld was, you'd probably still be fine.)
Good video, Doc! Though a little sad you didn't rate the cake as well, hah!

Love watching your restoration videos, but I just want to bring up one thing. You put text in stating that watching videos of welding doesn’t harm the eyes. This is true, but why RUclipsrs put the very important disclaimer in when they weld is put in for a reason. A small percentage of people suffer from Photosensitive epilepsy. What this is, when these people with this disease see bright flashes, say from welding, it can bring up seizures. This is why they post to look away or caution welding is about to happen. I just wanted to educate you to this disease so you have an understanding of why this disclaimer is put in videos. Oh I’m subscribing to your channel now as I love good restoration videos

Time was, we used to fix things up to give them a longer life. And, of course, every tool was new at one time. Watching Dr. Beer restore and make old things new again is not only satifyingly relaxing, but instructional, as well. Each time I watch, I usually learn a new techique, or two, which gave me the confidence to restore an antique Dunlap 3.5 inch vise, which is currently in parts on my bench. I, too, love that the new parts were made out of a rustly steel rod lying around since the shop's renovation. That's what I'm talking about!

I love that wrench. Excellent work and attention to detail. I’ve never seen a wrench like that before. Thanks for sharing it with us.

from the beginning to the very end I loved it all, especially the stop motion, and of course the "say no to war"!!

Quite a lovely job, sir!! The handle, the slides, the Japanning were all most satisfying. But my favorite was the stop motion. Your sense of whimsy added a lot to it.
