Welcome to Part VII of my series, TEMU Tips & Tricks.
Do you want/need to request a refund for something you purchased at TEMU? Is the BOT saying you have to return the item before you can get a refund? In this video I cover how you may be able to get a refund without needing to ever return the item, regardless of what the BOT is telling you!
This isn't a way to avoid returning items. This is a service TEMU decided to offer as an alternate option. Why they decided to do this. . . who knows. But they took the time to work out the logistics with their vendors, and provided this wonderful, caring, customer-oriented service for however long it lasts. As I had not found where TEMU made these return options public to shoppers, I offer you this video. In this video, I present what TEMU has to offer, and how to avail yourself of their decision to do so.

I have ordered A LOT from Temu and have returned quite a few items. Only 2 tines have they ever asked for a return. I think the options for places to return must be regional as well. I have many more options other than post office and UPS.
I had a 70 dollar order the ad was not right I tell them it was fault advertising they refunded me after I told them I was not not happy with they ad I got my money back with me sending pictures They want me to phone them I said no I’m in Canada that I could talk to them on chat.

I have been having a few problems returning stuff and I have a huge addiction to Temu, this is the best video I have watched on RUclips this year!!! I bought a nail set at Xmas that came with no polish and paid 64 dollars for it, I don't have a printer so couldn't return it, I followed your directions and got 64 dollars and change as credit, I also talked to the customer service and explained Canada post does not print return labels for this and couldn't return 60 dollars worth of coats that were missing buttons and they are sending me new jackets, they also told me if the coats were out of stock they would credit me this too....

I already made contact with the Temu person. She says that I have to return everything. I am actually bed-bound disabled and do not have anyone to take it to the post office or usps. She pretty much told me that was my problem if I did not send the things back I would not get a refund can you tell me where to go from there. Thank you ma'am😮
Can you tell me what the items are? How many? costs? I need details in order to determine what options you may have. If a refund without return is not an option based upon your purchases, you can contact UPS Schedule a Pickup page. Most UPS locations offer at-home pick up, to ship your packages anywhere! This was great I was able to get a $29.89 refund for my brother for a rug that was more like a sheet with backing. I followed your instructions and did not need live person. The bot made an exception for good customer and credited his account . We both thank you.Merry Christmas

While watching this video I requested and received two item refunds! One a bra that did not fit, the other a perfume that leaked. So far I have not had difficulties with any refunds.

Thank you so much for your advice on how to contact the customer service bot... I had actually already requested a return for a $100 expresso machine that came with a broken handle. I was getting ready to package it all up to return when I thought I would give your method a shot, nothing to lose... it actually worked! They processed the refund immediately and said I didnt have to return it. I am a bit shocked, didnt think it would work since the item was so expensive.

Hi I really need some help here! I really appreciate the information on this video and I believe it would have worked but I have a bit of a problem here. I had submitted a ticket and that had been denied and now it doesn’t give me an option to refund without return. What can I do for the refund. Pls help and thanks so much!!
You're not alone. Since this video was created, I have done an update on Refund without return because TEMU and their vendors have changed the policy. If your items are resellable, TEMU will require they be returned, no exception. Put them in a TEMU bag that's been turned inside out. Download the label from TEMU to your phone and call the courier for pick up! You don't have to leave the house or need a printer. You'll get your refund as soon as the warehouse received the package. Broken items most often can get a refund without return. Do that item separately, indicating the damage and attaching a photo. If the BOT declines the RWR, chat with customer service, tell them you've taken a pic of the damages but have already disposed of the item. I've never had to return a damaged/broken item. I HAVE had to return a non functioning electrical item because the seller will attempt to repair and resell.

ok. First - you should watch the update to Refund without Return that is in Tips & Tricks Part X. There have been quite a few changes. Going through the BOT only, it will always be a new aftersales service. If the item is resellable, not damaged, etc. they will want it returned and typically decline a RWR. If the item IS damaged, not working and not resellable, that is when you may get the RWR. The seller determines what they will allow a RWR for - not TEMU. Is there a reason you aren't returning it? Ya don't need a printer or need to leave home - T&T X tells you how. ✌️
I bought a backpack I thought my cat would fit in. (I am moving to a place that did not tell me pets are not allowed. I took a picture with her lying down next to it. I simply said, “Too small.”

I hate that when you get refunded,if you are playing farmland they will take back the water they gave you for order and you can't continue to play for prizes until you pay back refund.. can you get around that?
Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid it. The points they give you are because of the value of your order. If the order amount changes, they will and do adjust the credits to match. I've added items to an order and watched my food/water increase. And like you, I've been in 'credit jail'. Ugh. C'est la vie! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁🎅
I want to thank you for giving us all the knowledge that you know of your tricks and trades. Earlier this week I had an issue I don't drive and I had to go to CVS and wait 20 minutes for them to print me up a tag so I had to leave and I called customer service and at first they told me that they couldn't help me out and then of course I spoke to someone and they understood my point
All I wanted was for them to change to change my way of shipping back and they ended up giving me a refund of with no return I was shocked I will continue shopping with them with that type business. Because I am handicapped don't drive and on oxygen 24 hours so it does get kind of hard for me to go out and print. I hope you have a happy holidays

First, there is no guarantee you will get a refund without return. If the item is resellable/undamaged, you will have to return it. If the seller agrees to refund you without return, you would get the price, less any coupons you used or adjustments. I just shipped a bunch of stuff back on Sunday. Like $200 worth of products. But I forgot to include a sweater i didn't want. It wouldn't let me get a refund without shipping even though i just returned 4 boxes. I just tried this method, and it worked properly! But the messages from BOT said this is a temporary option. So it may be somethin they are testing out. I bet it might change after Christmas because im sure 1000s of returns will take place

Temu is really cheap and affordable products with good quality , is it all come from China ?
About 95% comes from China. Some come from the Philippines, and a very little bit actually comes from the USA.

In the last 2 months or so, there has been an option to have your item(s) picked up by my courier! And no fee, no label needed, and Temu doesn’t even want me to box or bag it! Ps, I'm in Canada.

I had 2 articles that came in the same package that I wasn't happy with it was a total 9 euro, they put the 9 euro on my account to spend and the message said I can keep them or throw them away, no need to ship back. I assume that shipping cost more then the article for them it is not worth it. I don't know what amount they accept for not returning the items, I think there is a limit.
Check out my video on Top 10 Questions. I give an update on the Refund without return. So far, there's no limit but it all depends on the vendor. Temu doesn't make the decision.

Don't worry, I have info! Updates to the refund without return are in my Tips & Tricks Video Part X - top 10 questions answered. There have been some policy changes but it's still possible to do a refund without return and never leave your home!

It's happening to everyone. Too many people misused the privilege of refund without return, so the sellers changed their policies. I think it's wonderful we still have the option, and that a few greedy people didn't spoil it.
What if you returned an item and they say did not get it?
You would need to provide the tracking # from the label to a customer service rep so they can track the package internally. You can also contact the courier and track via their website. If the courier verifies delivery, you need to get an email or do a screen shot that you can forward to TEMU. TFW i✌💖🤗

Thank you for this video!! Will they allow a refund without return if all of the items in the order need to be refunded? I shop Temu a lot! Unfortunately their sizing is not great so the clothes in the orders need to be returned often. They have let me keep items in the past, but now they’re not. I just did like 4 order returns and none of them allowed them to not be returned. Could it be that there were too many returns in a short period of time? I haven’t tried the chat yet so I’ll give it a try too. Thanks! 😊
If you check out my video "Top 10 Questions Answered", it will provide you with all the changes to the Refund without Return process. I also have a video for "Fabric Selection" that will help to pretty much eliminate your clothing returns. Unfortunately, chatting with customer service won't make a difference on the return/refund policy. Those policies are determined by the seller and not TEMU. Keep me posted once you've reviewed the two referenced vids. They really will help! TFW 🙃

I have and they were not the best quality. The thread count was low so even tho they weren't scratchy, they were not soft enough for my liking. I haven't searched lately since they added fabric choices to their search, so perhaps they now offer cotton sheets?

Thank you for this help:) Just did my first return for an item. it was for 2 reasons, the first was item description and the second was pricing. I always check my cart on my PC now and not just my phone haha it is too small to give full descriptions.
I always use my PC for orders, cart review, etc. Watch carefully the quantity of each item in your cart as TEMU has an algorithm that at times, will increase the quantity. This can lead to an overcharge, and result in being sent a duplicate item, thus a return. TFW! 🙋♀️

Boy how I wish I’d known this back when I first started w/ Temu!
I was told to print out a label, but I wasn’t sure how to do that-have since done it successfully-& my printer was out of ink & because of health hard to go out. But was too pricy to not return, so went (on last day) to PO who Temu said would print out the label. No, they couldn’t. Told to go to Fed Ex…& yes, they printed it, but for over $5. Then back to PO to send…gas & time & expense!!! (Prob more than the postage would have been). It stopped me from buying for awhile.
I have been getting the ‘No return’ for so long now that I was expecting a ‘must return’ which I got this last order-on a broken item! I closed it out to think & a few days later came across your video. So will try it.

Returns don't work that way. You need to go to the order that has the items you wish to return, and follow the prompts. Temu will then give you 2 return options to chose from, plus the option of a printed label or scanned label.
Mine keeps going to pick USPS or UPS. How do I get to the second refund without return.

You are only allowed 1 refund without return per order. It is not guaranteed anyone will get a rwr. Resellable items most always have to be returned. I'm not sure what you mean by the second?

You may be someone who does not need or wish to have in-depth details. However, the majority of my viewers have requested I be as specific and detailed as possible. If I only had seen your video yesterday. Had the same problem with an drop-off label for a carrier located hundreds of miles away. Then I started the chat support and finally the AI behind issued me a refund without a return. A hillarious experience.

Why try to avoid returning items? If I’m not happy with an item, I certainly don’t want it and am happy to send it back. This seems questionable. If you want to return an item to ANY retailer, you need to figure out how to get it back to them. It is not their responsibility to worry about whether you have the time or a printer.
I'm sorry if I was unclear and you misunderstood. This is not a way to avoid returning items. This is a service TEMU chooses to offer, and it is their choice to determine if they will refund an item with or without a return. Why they decided to do this. . . who knows. But it is a wonderful, caring, customer-oriented service for however long it lasts. However, I disagree with you on one point - it IS the responsibility of the retailer to make their return policies and return options known to all shoppers, without discrimination. Some shoppers may be able to find a way to return something they don't want, but not everyone can. No one can dictate what I or anyone else should do, or how we are able to handle things like this. But TEMU has provided multiple options for returns and other issues related to purchases. I only present what TEMU has to offer and allow TEMU to make the decisions. TFW and Merry Christmas! 🎄🤶🎁
Yes, my car broke down and I was stranded in the room I rent. I did print out the receipt. I explained it. They said to just keep it!
I tried this with a 20$ order and they let it go through, but i have a 50$ order and they wont refund it?
Each refund without return is based on it's own merits. Refund without return has no bearing on the cost of your order. Each order is allowed 1 free return and other items may need to be sent back. So if you're trying to get a refund for an entire order, you most likely will have to return everything. Please remember, there is no guarantee that you would be able to use this benefit. If you do not have transportation nor a printer, use the no-label return method I described. 🐕✌️💖
Oh wow! Thanks so much! I had quite a few items I was returning because of defects, but most were items that were now cheaper. My refund was almost 50% of the prices totaled, so I couldn't figure out if I would be losing money due to discounts. I even chatted with an agent who suggested I return my ENTIRE order because she wouldn't tell me how much each item was valued. After 1 hour 50 minutes (ugh!) - she finally told me the breakdown. She never offered a refund without return. Your method worked in two minutes!! 🍀🤟

It doesn't seem like you're using the bot. Do not go into your order.. go to contact us and type refund without return. Answer the bots questions. If it still wants you to return, then the best selection is UPS WITHOUT PRINTED LABEL. UPS does residential pick up to make returns easier.
i ordered 3 different perfumes and only one arrived and it wasn't even one of the scents! i want a refund w/o returning it but it only says return :/
Use the bot via 'contact us'. Then type "live person". You have 2 different issues here - missing items and wrong item sent. It is possible they split your delivery, but there's no excuse for the wrong scent!
I requested an exchange due to wrong size and they told me they do not do that. They told me to keep item, gave me a refund and directed me to reorder.

Hi I’m in Canada and I’m unable to a refund of 23$ because they keep asking me to submit a ticket or contact customer service and when I do contact customer service they don’t do anything and avoid giving me a refund at all cost. I don’t know what to do
Any refund will require either a ticket/escalation, or approval. If it's within 90 days of purchase, you are entitled to a refund. However, refund without return is NOT guaranteed. Undamaged/working items may need to be returned and there is no alternative. They will not avoid giving you a refund once you've returned the item. RWR is a case by case and is determined by 2 things - the reason for your return and the vendors instructions to TEMU.

Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do other than guide you. Look at what the reason is for your return. Is there more than one possible choice e.g. Not as described / inaccurate web description vs too small? Most often, it's the reason that prevents the rwr. Konnee, when ordering clothes, what’s the best reasons to use to up your chances of not having to return clothes? I have about a third of a huge order, well, several huge orders, that don’t fit. I DO NOT have a printer, in truth. So if there is one of the easiest reasons to return without return the item, I would use it. I felt like you hesitated to say in the video. Wasn’t able to message you privately either. Thanks for your time ❤
Be sure you take your measurements before ordering because their sizes do not always match up to what you wear. Then use the size chart and err on a size up when in doubt. You always want to be honest when doing a return. If the clothing doesn't fit, then you would use either Wrong size (too big-too small) or alternately Not As Described, because the sizing didn't match. It is at the discretion of the Vendor (not TEMU) if they will allow a refund without return. If they insist on a return and you do not have a printer, then use the No Printed Label option to get a scannable label on your phone, and call UPS for pick up. ✌️💖

When the Bot does that, you then need to request 'live person'. There is no guarantee it will be granted.
I have talked to a live agent and they created a ticket. They just told me to do a return method in the ticket

I'm not sure I understand. . . . reward coupons? There are several ways to get coupons: dailybox777 will offer coupons at random times, reward777 which is the Temu exclusive program also offers coupons with orders, and customer service can be contacted to request any available coupons they may be able to send you. Hi I made price adjustment how can I refund without return after price adjustment?
A price adjustment has no bearing on doing a refund request. Price adjustments are simply the seller giving you credit when he has reduced the cost of an item. It is not a 'refund'. An item that has had a price adjustment can be refunded at its current value, not at the original purchase price. Also, you will need to watch Tips & Tricks part X because there have been changes to how to do a Refund without return. ✌️

Review my Tips & Tricks part X - I break it down as to when you can and can't do a refund without return. Basically, if your purchase is re-sellable it MUST be returned. This video, Tips & Tricks Pat VII is now outdated, and it is important you watch the current info found in Part X. You may not be able to do a refund without return based on new criteria. Also, I can't help you if I don't have more info -WHY you want a refund. It's the WHY that determines if you are eligible for it.

Let's see if we can figure it out. Please answer each of these questions so we can narrow it down to a possible reason: Is the item broken/not working/damaged? Is the item the wrong size, wrong color or Inaccurate Web Description? Is the item in good condition? Why are you wanting a refund for it? Why can't you return it?

Doing a refund without return is not guaranteed. Because the items are resellable, they want, and are entitled to have them back. As I explained in Part X video, you don't need transportation or a printer to return items, there is a way to return them. Download the return label to your phone for UPS and call UPS to come pick up the package. Just use the TEMU bag, stuff the clothes in, tape it shut and have it ready for pick up. The Part X video will give you more details, but it really is very simple. And yes, they do 'catch on' to someone who always requests RWR for returnable / resellable items and will start denying RWR, basically saying enough is enough. To them, understandably, it may come across as falsifying the request or trying to rip them off by getting money back and keeping the items. But what it does for shoppers, when people do that, is jack up the prices we have to pay. The sellers have to make up the loss and they take it out on everyone else by raising costs. I would also recommend you watch my video on Fabric selection. It will help you chose better clothing and sizes so you are less likely to have repeated dissatisfaction✌️
so i had ordered another mousepad in that order which i refunded, but the other 2 items i want to refund but they keep saying they cant?
Each order is allowed 1 refund without return. If you have multiple items, you may be required to return some of them. If you don't have transportation or don't have a printer, use the no-label method I described to make your return easier. 💖✌️

Why? Returning is easy with the no-label method. Just use an old TEMU bag stuff the items in the way TEMU does and call UPS for pick up. I encourage everyone to use this method for items that are not damaged. Some consumers will try to take advantage of TEMU's generosity where this program is concerned and seek refunds when there is no issue with the product. Everyone should try their best to return when asked to do so, in order to not risk losing this option altogether. ✌️💖
It doesn’t let me keep the item it ask me to return the item
There's no guarantee that it will let you keep the item. In some cases, the vendor simply requires it be returned and there is no getting around that. Just use the UPS home pickup method I explained and send it back. 🐕✌️🐾💖

If you started a refund, then backed out to try a different method, chose New One.

I just tried to make a refund. I attempted to the first way going through the the receipt. They wanted me to send everything back. I then went to customer service and used the bot. I was skeptical because the return was for $24 +change. The bot gave me the option to not return, return, or resend. Well…guess which one I picked? The first one! 🤣. I’ll use your method from now on!! Thank you very much!! 🥰
I wanted to add that I have made returns in the past. Most of the time I didn’t have to send items back. However I have 2-3 times. The last time I had to PAY UPs to print out the label (my printer was acting up). I still need a refund from Temu for it.
I doubt you'll ever see a refund from TEMU. If you don't have a printer, just use the option for 'no printed label' and let UPS scan the code from your phone. TFS
@@konneeslittlecornerI actually got credit. But I learned that you can only do so many things”refund without return” returns. Then the system gets finicky. I just had to “fight” for a justified return. I’ll let the engine cool before I do other legitimate returns. Thanks!

Without having any info or details, I can't help. First, I would recommend you watch my Tips and Tricks Part X as I address RWR in detail. If after watching it you still have an issue, then please DM me. We'll figure it out. 🤗 it sound as tho the brick wall you're hitting is because you don't want to return a resellable item.

The robot just puts me to live person even with the key words u sed to use..tried everything now they automatically send me a ticket for refund to return item...now they are saying they will review my refund and get back to me.. decline declined.. 🤦
OK. So that further indicates you have a returnable item and/or the seller wants it back. I've provided a clear, easy method to return. Is there a reason you won't send it back? It's free to do so and you don't have to leave home. When TEMU says no, they mean no. Again, I recommend you watch my Tips & Tricks Part X (not the Refund without Return video) so you might have a better understanding of how this works and the limitations on doing a refund without return. I still don't have any details about your return - is it broken/damaged/not working? Is it the wrong size or material you don't like? Is it nothing like the web description or was the wrong item sent to you? What is the 'why' behind your request?

What is it you're trying to refund without return and why? It may be an item/value the vendor insists on being returned. If that's the case, then use the home UPS pickup method to make it quick and easy. Might be easier than the frustration you're having.

I hope you can help me. I got a new iPhone with a new number on my old number I had $17.00 left in credit. And I can not get it it did not transfer to my new number. I still have this account and also on my email. I was told to erase my new number and re it with my old number and that I could get my credit. That does not work ang I’ve called and called !! Any ideals?
I went thru the same thing. Keep your old number on file until you use all credits on your account. Once your credit is ZERO, remove the old number and enter the new one.

I did exactly what you said and went into the bot chat and said “Refund without return” and it immediately said that a live person has to help with this. Unfortunately, because I was three days after the 90 day return, they insisted there was nothing they can do to help. I tried to tell them I was willing to return but since their policy said they won’t take a return after 90 days, I asked if they could please still offer a refund without return, but they refused. This was frustrating as it was only a couple of days past the 90 because I was waiting for my son to see the shirt. It was supposed to be three dimensional but it was in accurate and in real life it didn’t look three dimensional at all. It was about a six dollar shirt
Temu flexes so much to accommodate us, it can be disheartening when they don't. 90 days is something they are rigid with. I too encountered the same issue when I ordered a Xmas gift that wasn't opened until after the 90 days, then didn't fit. I had to take the loss. 🤗✌️💖
