We are moving a mid 18th century house! Here is a brief tour before we start!

Here is a brief history of this 1750's 3/4 cape we are moving just down the street! Follow Mike along a tour of this home before we prep it to move it. We have the opportunity to save a historic house but only if we move it. This once was a Bradford home (govenor William Bradford grandchildren's home) and then in the 1800's served as an alms house - house for the poor. This house has sat vacant for decades now and we have the chance to save it! This has been years in the making and now we are at the stage of prepping this antique cape for it's move down the street. It is only moving a mile or so but it takes a ton of prep work to get the road, utilities, town and house all ready to go. Stay tuned for more as we move and restore this very history home!
