Thanks man. Its even cleaner now, and i got the ac working really good! It's great on the street. The torque converter i have keeps the rpm at about 3500 or so when accelerating from a stoplight at a brisk rate, and 3500 is pretty good. But yeah it spools well for a little street car. Could be better since its a cast wheel journal bearing, but I'm not complaining
Good day was this swap difficult, thinking of going to a 3uz swap but without turbo but a friend told me its not an easy fix. Hopping to hear from you soon
Yes sir that's what I'll be doing. I just got it together and running with this new turbo kit and ecu very recently. Still need to change the springs out. I thought it was going to make about 6 pounds on spring and its only making 3, so that'll have to change no matter what. Thanks for the input!
@@TurboV8boi Right on. I was just curious why you decided to manage boost through wastegate and not dome pressure or something of the nature. Whatever gets the job done right!?.
@@The_NakedApe From my understanding you'll want to set your gate pressure to something like the lowest boost you'll run since you'll only have so much resolution with either a 3 port or 4 port solenoid. A lot of people will have gate pressure close to what they'll launch at. I believe you're in the neighborhood of controlling 2x spring pressure with a 3 port and 4x or so with a 4 port valve. So if I have 7 pounds on gate I should be able to control up to 28ish psi with a 4 port. I won't know for sure until I spend some time messing with it though. Plus I think my spring is so light that my gate is opening too soon
@@TurboV8boi I didnt know most people use gate pressure to launch at. But yes we are on the same page about the solenoid. Im setting up twins with the terminator X and going to run a low spring pressure same as you and then manage boost through holley afterwards. Cant wait to see what your setup is going to do!
@@The_NakedApe Nice! I'm fairly new to this t00ning bit.The Holley is pretty straight forward to grasp though. If I needed more features in the future I could change it to something else and I wouldn't even be upset due to the incredible value this system offers. For boost control I'm going to follow the how-to Sloppy Mechanics did called "Terminator X closed loop boost control class" and see how that works out. Good luck on your build! I hope it goes together smoothly =)
ANYTHING can be done w/ enough $$$. Seriously though, the newer Lexus platforms have a lot more of the basic vehicle functions in the ECU. The RC is a nice platform, but it will be an electrical nightmare if you want to keep a lot of the Lexus creature comforts.
Gee Beezy damn I guess i’m looking at 10 grand 😳 I really do like a lot of the features I may look into a ISF engine if it is a little more simple however I don’t know yet
Thanks for showing the downpipe its allways interesting to see how people snake it through the k member to have an actual exhaust
The fact that you kept AC makes me not even pay attention to the turbo sticking out of the hood. Good work man!
Make more videos dude! Your channel will definitely get tons of engagement and will become popular quickly!!!
Real nice setup tight and clean my question how do a 80 mm turbo works on the street anyone out can you answer that for me thanks

This is fucking cool!
Any update video coming?
Yes sir, I need to do that! I've been taking some video lately =)

Awesome. Inspected and registered too! Lol
I'm @Frisco!
Oh yeah, its a street car hehe. It'll have AC too. Heck yeah, Texas represent. Say "hi" if you ever see me!

@@briannhdzz RCF and ISF share same motor iirc, but either way, you're in the ball park with your budget estimate.
How much HP?

Quick question..what trans do you use and have you ever seen someone use the stock A650e?
