  • CROSMAN 2240 - 1322 MODS BUCK RAIL
In this video I do some upgrade mod's to my Crosman 2240 and 1322 air pistols. Both of these air pistols are two of the most popular models that Crosman has ever made.
Today I'm going to talk about how to improve two already outstanding air pistols and make them even better.

I believe Buck-Rail is quieter than my DonnyFL's. Like them both but I have been highly impressed with everything that Buck-Rail makes. Great Video by the way!!

Thanks for sharing Jon. Buck rail makes some of the best accessories for the Beeman, Diana and Crosman based air pistols and rifles! Some more carbine options for you!

Wow, what do you know. I got a recommendation for the Buck-Rail kit from Reddit. I just bought my first .22 airgun, a 1322. It's the first serious (😅 well, sorta, right?) airgun since my childhood Daisy multi-pump and crossman spring pellet/bb guns.
I got my 1322 today. The choice was made in no small part because of your videos, John. You sold me. I can't wait to get my Buck-Rail moderator on Friday and put them together. I may go back for that stock adapter later. I have a pest I need to hammer, so I just grabbed the basics for the moment. I can't wait to get my 3D Printer fixed and see what other troubles I can get into!

Thanks for posting, I absolutely love the 2240 , but just recently got another 1322 , originally I had one years ago but sold it not really liking it very much I remember pinching my hand a couple of times and got turned off on them. I got into the co2 guns and then modified them , so once I got the 1322 again recently I put a brass breech on it and it became much easier to pump , then I bought a new larger different shaped pump arm and wow this thing is great , I honestly like it more Than my 362 C , I probably just need to shoot the 362 more but the 1322 is a really nice gun with some minor changes I want to keep it a pistol but that means I need another so I can do. Carbine build like I did with the 2240s I converted to PCP .

Great shooting! Fun or what? I also got that red dot because of Nibbs' suggestion. Really like it on XS120D. I put the bigger one he suggested on my 1322. Thanks Nibbs!

    *Gotta like affordable fun!*
All I did to my 2240 trigger is the basic spring squishing mod and it made a night and day difference!
_I still need to do it on my Buck Railed 1377._
[You should have got the Buck rail mounts to compare with the Crosman one ive been very surprised by the sturdiness of the 3d printed ones.]

Thanks Jon for the review. My 1377 has the steel breech and it tightens the barrel very nicely. The add on stock makes for a nice compact carbine.

Man they look cool! I bought a die to cut some threads on a (green screen) .22 and it is a 1/2-32 thread that is almost on everything cross the board. That die, that 1 die, was nearly $100 from a machine shop discount supply but let me tell you, the (green screen suppressor) made that thing so silent, the click of the strike of the cartridge was the loudest thing you hear. Im betting those at the same thread as well

I will have to check the thread count and I’ll get back with you on that.

I remember guys sinking lots of $$$ in the 1322/17 and 2240s on the yellow forum 24 years ago. Your gonna be better of with a 1720T or prod. I run both of those. My prod rocks with a mountain air barrel. Ragged hole groups with .22 cphp at 35 yards. I get 32 shots at 11 fpe. Its a squirrel sleeper. 1720T can group 5 shots in a quarter off sand bags and no wind at 53 yards. Bstanley and a custom made rail made by me is all modifications that were done. Oh and the trigger tune. For alittle more $$$ that would get sunk in mods on 2240 or 13XX they are better platforms. Air is superior to CO2.

Who ...made the red dot ..?

  • @quebirt
    @quebirt Год назад

This isn't gonna sound like it, but I honely mean it constructively. You lost a lot of viewers when you closed one eye using a red-dot. We're all free to shoot how we want but I wonder if you know that one of the major benifits to a red-dot is that you can keep both eyes open, and focus on the target. If not, you should spend some time trying to get used to it and see if you don't appreciate it. All that assuming you don't have vision issues I'm not aware of, making me an *hole.
