- It's finally here. An affordable, adjustable, and loveable side folding stock for the Crosman 1377, 1322, and 2240.
In this video I demonstrate the installation of the Rear Pic Adapters on the Crosman 2289 "Backpacker" and the Crosman 2240. The purpose of this video is mainly to show the adapter install. The adapter adds a rear facing modified Picatinny to the Crosman 13XX or 2240. It's compatible with any Picatinny clamping side folder, as far as I know. I've mounted two very pricey aftermarket clamping stocks to make sure.
You will not be able to use the stock iron sights with this stock. You can, however use our Crosman Mounts and a set of AR Style flip-up irons if you need iron sights. Depending on the optic you mount you may need a riser. The open glass reflex sight pictured in the video thumbnail does not need a riser on our Crosman Mounts.
In this video I only show the installation of the Poor Man's Side Folder. The fixed option is installed on the Crosman 2289 and the AR Stock Compatible Adjustable Stock option is installed on the Crosman 2240. If you want to know more about the Poor Man's Side Folder I have a slightly less dry video on that as well.

Thanks to the BuckRail family!
Thank YOU!
Really Awesome much needed products.
Thank you very much!
Thanks for sending me spare parts.
Ha! Chris passed all the info over the phone. I didn't know that was you. I ended up incorporating some of those changes in the side folder design, so thanks for the feedback and pics!
Looks like my next paycheck is heading to Texas.......... :) I'm gonna need more goodies.
Been trying to order 2 and got con-fuzzed. Does the 2240 butt plate rail adapter come with the stock or do I need to order it separately ? (as I see them listed separate ) I'd like to order a 2240 fixed and a 2240 minimalist as complete sets. Please advise of cost .(cheap shipping)
I'll use the same payment method as before.
Cool! 😎
Rear pic rail would be perfect for a single point sling!
It looks like it could be a little challenging to look through the sights
True. You can't use the stock irons with this side folder. The Reflex Sight in the thumbnail picture is at just the right height for me. That's all mentioned in the product description etc. I may eventually add another stock option that is offset for stock open sights if folks are interested in that.
How sturdy does the non-adjustable stock feel?
Do you do local pickup or only shipping?
Do you know if the 1377 stock your displaying works with the clever craft scope mount on amazon? Newbie here
I have not tested it, but I don’t see why not. It looks like the clevercraft scope mount doesn’t interfere in any way. However, the steel breech is only a few bucks more and is, arguably, the number one upgrade for this platform. Just FYI.
If you have any compatibility issues just let us know and we’ll take care of you.
Looks like a #2 Roberts square drive.
What tool do I need to remove the long center bolt so I can flip this?
I just got mine in and realized I'm gonna need to do surgery on it to make it work for the gun.
You'll need a 7/16" socket w/ 1/4" drive. It's in pretty deep so you may need a hex driver with a 1/4" hex shank socket adapter was well.
Will these stocks work on original 1377 with pull knop cocking on back where stock mounts? Or will I need new metal breach replacement from plastic
Unfortunately, none of our stocks will work with a rear cocking knob nor will it work with power adjusters as it replaces the parts that retain the hammer spring. I don’t own one with the rear cocking knob and I’m unaware of what options there are for converting it to side cocking. I do know it works with the steel or plastic breech with side cocking lever. Hope that helps.

Are you able to print the stock that is part of the hand grip, thanks.
@@stevesandra007 stock and handgrip are two different parts for all his combinations.
I as well was thinking about the same thing oi also have the one with the round knob in the back. It sat in the garage for years because it wouldn't hold air. I took it apart and replaced the O ring on the valve and works like a charm. Just ordered the suppressor and the plumper from Buck Rail super stoked.
Is there one made for the marauder pistol?
Yes, that was just recently released!
13 1/2" length of pull on the fixed stock. So how does that compare with the sliding stocks length of pull?
From 12-1/4” to 16” on the adjustable stock side folder for the 13XX and 2240. I’ll be adding additional buttpad options to extend the fixed stocks a bit as well.
@@BuckRailAirguns Thanks, that helps me decide which to get. I've got long arms and I need to get it as far away from me as possible. I just measured the adjustable stock on my 2028 and it's only about the same length you quote for the 13.5" fixed stock. No way it's 16". How come?
@@spydie I’m a small guy. I make everything to suit me and forget that there are other types out there, lol. However, I listen to my customers. Some folks complained about the short LOP on the Beeman 202X kit so I extended it. That was probably after you bought it. Reach out to Chris in an email, chris@buck-rail.com, and he’ll get you the longer adjustable stock.
-Terry
@@BuckRailAirguns Thanks Terry. I just measured it and my folding stock for my Beeman 2028 measures 12.25" reach. The tube and minimalist stock is from my first non-folding stock of my 2027 last year (so I wouldn't have to buy so many new parts to make it a folding stock), but nobody told me there was any difference in length or I'd have gotten the longer tube.
Oh, I understand now. The fixed stock is still only 12.5” on the Beeman 202X. I did put that in the description. I do need to add a longer fixed stock option and will. It’s only the adjustable non-folding stock that I extended. That one is made specifically for the Beeman 202X. The Poor Man’s Side Folder, on the other hand, is made for 10 different airguns and counting so it’s not going to suit everyone. But if you’re not pleased with it definitely reach out to customer service and we’ll make it right. I can do better with clearly communicating the difference in LOP and setting proper expectations and will add that to the description for each of the kits.
where to buy that?
Hello. The link is in the description and our website is in my “about”, but we’re out right now. Waiting on more of the machined pins to come in.
do u have an facebook account?
I do. There’s a link in my RUclips “about”
