How to own Samael in Darksiders 2
No commentary, Contains spoilers !
Using some frost blades and hammer to own the most difficult boss in Darksiders 2. Long time since I posted a video on this channel, its all because of having no time due to University. I played this game a while ago and really like it, so here is a little gameplay from it. Samael is even harder than the final boss :D I've also completed the Crucible and recorded it, if you guys want me to upload it..post in the comments or pm me. Good day!

This was most amazing because of Death Himself too, he was amazing to play as, dialogues, tone etc
I love this game. But I wish the Absalom fight at the end was even half as epic.

Displayter. Yeah archons fight had epic music but samael is just so damn powerful.
I wish any fight was half as epic as the one with war. Goddamn shame its the easiest boss because i would have loved a proper fight with your end game death against your end game war from darksiders 1.

If the franchise continues; and goes all the way to Darksiders 5 where hopefully we may get to play as all 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse ... it'd be great to see Samael fight all Horsemen in their own respective games from Darksiders 1 to 4. Finally on the 5th one; it'd be a great plot to see Samael as the ultimate final boss of the franchise, being the one behind all the scheming and plotting. To see the 4 Horsemen go into their true forms along with Samael's true form ... it's a great send off for the franchise that their battle will ultimately determine the restoration of the Balance 😍

Aldus Jogann Garcia Or at least that she interacts with him. I'm assuming she will, Samael has been built up too much to ignore now, and I'm sure the story-writers for Darksiders III are aware that the players are still curious to find out just how powerful he truly is.
i think samael intended to give death the key anyway, but was toying with him and just wantedto have some fun, while making death believe that he was quite weak. it must be all a part of his plan

Actually I think it would be pretty impressive to see a fight between War and Death, I personally prefer War because of his primitive, brutal and crude nature, but I believe it would be Death the winner within that fight, simply because you can't kill someone that is already dead, there is so much you can do to Death but beating him in a combat isn't enough.

Null Void The fight with list was pretty decent. And it was kind of cool when the ark angel intervened midway through. Made for a pretty cool cutscene.

I'm kinda late but why does your game look so good?
This is one of the most underrated games ever. not this game specifically But all of the darksiders franchise i hope people start to realize how good this game is . but to be honest they need to work more on the story and gameplay and cut scenes cut scenes actually looks like they are fake . they should make movie like cut scenes
So is it me or did this fight have a longer ending scene at the end when I first played the game? I remember it had a proper ending where Semael ends up on his throne after getting a beating. But ever since a few updates that ending seems gone and it simply cuts to black... does anybody know why or have the original ending?

Gdi, I love Samael so much. Probably my favorite villain of the DS games so far. Absalom has a good story with Death, but fuck was the fight anti-climactic. This one maintained his badass even after losing.
Samuel didn't lose . he was only testing deaths current strength . i said "current" because death doesn't have all his powers since the council didn't send him . or else no one would be able to scratch him even Samuel or lord of the bones .

So beat it without right hand combos or item upgrading on death difficulty.
The most underrated game
the hardest boss for me was the last Lord in the City of the Dead. The one with the giant spider. at lvl 13 or and shjt weapon, it took me forever. And he fking hurts. Most boss fight video are people showing off insane dmg. Boss die too quick

As King of the Bones said,seals heavly depower the Horsemen,so if they were removed,Death could easly overpower the King to tell him about the Well of Souls.I mean,Charred Council and the Horsemen are one of the three sides of the great conflict,others being angels and demons.To mantain Balance all horsemen are extremely powerful.I read somewhere that Death with his restrains removed is in top 3 most powerful beings in existence,and other Horsemen are not standing far from him.Also,during fight with Samael he didn' even tapped into Reaper,so he didn't even tried to kill him.But yeah,without restrains we would he would be Death's bitch
Victor Yarn actually I disagree and believe samael is actually stronger than death even with the seals broken. It would probably take all four of the horsemen to defeat him. Samael didn’t really care if death took the key. He was looking only to toy around with him resting him. Samael only used a fraction of his power here

Is this game like GOW? Is this good because I think this was on the PS Plus for free
Haven’t played GOW, but I’ve seen gameplay, so I’d say it’s probably similar, in a way. And yes, tons of people say it’s good, along with me.
Just to confirm, Death is as powerful as Samael while War is 1/4

On a normal living we may have criminals as monsters around us and may live with it, but, how much will you may need to create a monster like that on normal life?, Virtual a few bucks, Real to much sufferings, losses, lifes, etc.... so we may provide it virtually but never phisically!!! We may regret our entire life if we even allow to create a monster like that!!!!! But, the fucken game is awesome......

this is the samael after the 4 hearts right? i mean death is really strong if he can take on him after the 4 hearts
juboraj hossain no one knows for sure because of the time traveling introduced. But we know that samael was only using a fraction of his power and was only testing death. Samael is much stronger and it will take all four horsemen to even come close to his power

In any case this is technically fully powered Samael who is holding back immensely and toying with Death. Though Death doesn’t have his full power, or even use his Reaper form.
This fight was essentially a tease for a greater fight to come
juboraj hossain this was samael in the past so he does have is full power but i bet samael only used some of his power after all that fight was a test if it weren't then we be experiencing samael's wrath to the fullest. if he really wanted to he could kill a horsemen maybe 2 they would have the best chance if it was all four of them against a demon that could rival lucifer in terms of power

The Lord of the Bones could, i think. He take Death down, just sitting on his throne, imagine what he do when he stand up.
Does anyone experience a bug where he did not pull the land closer to his throne?
I actually did on the Wii U version. The second time, he bugged out and wouldn't cross the lava properly and ended up constantly dropping through it. Samael takes no damage from the lava so I had to use Redemption and Necro to kill him from out of range. When this did happen, the whole game was effectively broken. The cutscene that ends the battle played while Death and Samael were over the lava and after it was finished the game refused to put Death back on to solid ground.
At the end of it all, I had to fight Samael three times and was robbed of victory twice.

@@aryaa7069 Not really, but at this stage in the game, you should have a stronger weapon and good enough arcane ability to be able to survive fighting Samael without Reaper Form. If you don't, then you will need Reaper Form.
I personally used Reaper Form to destroy Absalom as he is pretty much a pathetic boss all around and I didn't care to waste time on him. Gorewood puts up more of a fight....but that's still not saying much as I tend to play games blind initially. I ended up fighting Gorewood right before entering the well of Souls. Apparently you are supposed to fight him much sooner...this might explain why I consider Gorewood as pathetic. Blethir on the other hand was a test of patience. Again, I didn't know you weren't really meant to challenge certain bosses before your level (and Resistance...) was good enough. I managed to kill the Deposed King at level 15 and didn't use Reaper Form and didn't die once but even more astonishing in retrospect is that I managed to kill Bheithir at only level 6 and spent the majority of the game not able to even use the weapon I earned.....
D'onte Graves The deposed king was the hardest fight for me man... I killed him at a very low level (basically one hit from him would drain like 95% my health)

thehitman781 not many games are very tough these even with their higher difficulties the only exception would be the souls games
RAFIKI 2 LMAO I beat it again .... Samael is easy I don't rely on magic only attacks or combos.
I never say that Absalom fight is harder, but at least for me is entertainment in more ways than once.
It depends on the weapon u possess, as u can win the whole 101 crucible easily with health steal weapon. But it looks cool, btw...
This whole game is epic don't get me wrong. But it somewhat pales in comparison to darksiders 1.
Belial in the dlc was in my opinion a better fight.

I did not like this for one simple reason. For a Demon Lord Samael fights like a damn coward! He keeps teleporting, getting in cheap shots, using spells from a distance, and overall not fighting like a demon lord should! If I'm trying to prove myself then stop treating this like a game and take me seriously! If you're gonna fight me, than fight like a warrior, one on one, man to man, and just stop moving around like rabbit bat out of hell AND FIGHT ME DAMN IT! I actually remember yelling at the screen "Your fighting me like a bitch I hope you know that! Now stand still AND FACE ME LIKE A WARRIOR COWARD!"

What a waste... For Darksiders 3 they could have made an epic story with War and Death. Something similar to the Abomination Vault. But instead they opted to give us filler crap and replaced Death with that annoying bitch. Furthermore they restricted us to the shattered Earth... again. Hell! I'd even prefer a game with all four, even if Death is really the only one that was likable and played well.
Alexandru its not filler, THQ's original agenda was to make a game for each of the horsemen and then with the 5th it would be 4 player co-op
