I'm not sure what Darksiders 3 is like but the boss fight in 2 he watched was a relatively early boss if I remember correctly. At any rate, the gameplay isn't meant to be like Dark Souls with every enemy having certain mechanics, it's more hack-n-slash with some platforming and puzzle-solving like Devil May Cry
Honest to god he should play darksiders 1. 1. You got illidan voicing war. 2. Design wise for characters and armor it does give off Warcraft vibes even ability icons look like WoW class spell icons. 3. In truth the game exploration and puzzles isn’t hard so it’s straight forward. Go through, slice stuff, look at cutscene, get items to progress to location like legend of Zelda and there simple.
but asmongopld doesnt know how to play anything besides wow and even then hes mediocre at best even though its the only game he played for the past 10 years and 24/7 at that lmao

Darksiders III is really hard. I say it's hard because you actually have to time your dodges perfectly to miss any damage taken, and that means you can't just spam attacks like Asmon does as a warrior. Some fights are like God mode in God of War on Normal difficulty in this game. I just barely got the 2nd elemental power and I have been playing it for more than 10 hours of play time. This is not an easy game unless you play it on Easy like all the scrubs out there who say it is easy. I found Darksiders 1 and 2 to be far easier. Dodging attacks is far easier in those games and you can spam attacks most of the time. God of War is similar to Darksiders 1 and 2 where Darksouls is more like Darksiders 3, where it is all about timing.

Yeah he picked random boss videos but the D2 boss was one of the early bosses and the D3 boss was an optional fight. I think had he watched the Death versus War at the beginning (just because it’s epic) or even Samael he would of thought more highly of the game.
Frankly, his complaint about dodging left could be applied to the majority of the Soulsborne bosses. Of all the bosses to watch he just had to pick the optional one.
The game is a gem, You could look at World of Warcraft for 10 seconds and come to the same conclusion that it's a boring mediocre stand still and press 1-2-3, Until you actually play it yourself and learn the intricacies and detail of what there is to behold, Or a better example, a kid today looking at Zelda: Majoras mask for 10 seconds would instantly compare it to the games of today and immediately think.. Meh, Not look as gud as what i play, Though I agree Darksiders 3 is a bit meh to be honest, Enjoyed it and all, but not exactly replayable to be fair

@@zeozelos they sure have, and they even failed to do that. 80% of enemies got long attack chains that track you so classic mode (wish lets you dodge out of attack animation) that they just added doesent fucking matter cuz their attacks track you all the time. save yourself some time and frustraition and just watch the cutscenes and if you got it on steam just refund that garbage and hope that the 4th game is better

They designed Darksiders like a Marvel Comic. It's not supposed to be accurate of the mythologies they borrow from. Plus, they set up the universe like everything was going fine until Heaven and Hell changed the pattern of the balance and of the apocalypse.

You're missing out. Darksiders 1 and 2 (I haven't played 3) are like an open world God of War with puzzles reminiscent of Zelda.

He should've watched the Bone Golem boss fight from the Kingdom of the dead in Darksiders 2 or the worm fight in the Ashlands from Darksiders 1.
