Nice to know I'm not alone and even pros can experience issues. --I have been trying to necro my old rig as a dedicated streamer using NDI vs CCard in an effort to do anything and everything to minimize cost. While also enjoying a hands-on crash course with OBS. So yeah I've def had a few wtf moments.
this isn't the games problem as of what im seeing rn pcs sometimes changes setting randomly it seems like your power mode switched to power saving mode which basically makes your pc slower as long as your cpu usage is less than 70% all you have to do is go to your pc settings>System>power & sleep> additional setting and then change the power saving to balanced and you should be all fine
I tried a couple things when I had freezing in a couple games, and what worked for me was to turn off preview in OBS, but I guess them pros know better and have better ways to make things work
Ive had the same issue with many from software games including Sekiro and Armored Core VI. There are two possible solutions one is to go to Task Manager - performance and right click the process then Choose processor Afinities and you disable Core 0. Other is to go into your BIOs and disable some processor acceleration option called Turbo something the name eludes me right now.
Hey, don't know if she fix it or no, so - here is 100% reason of that lagging (speaking as programming engineer). DS3 lagging because of constant changes in connected system devices - game scans all the devices to see if any new gamepads was connected. It's known problem, and it's actually happend in all DS and even ER. Changes in system devices may be because of bad usb connection of gamepad or any other connected usb stuf, like stream-deck we all see on her table. Also, if her PC is an AMD PC - it may be because of old BIOS: there was problem with amd usb controller, and they fixed it about 2 years ago. It also may be just because of some glichy connected device, that tuns itself off and on. Hope she eventually googles that problem and find that actual reason, otherwise it can be laggy even on her new pc.

Two monitors is fine, and I wonder if the issue with the game having huge frame drops is related to the GPU having to support 3 screens. It was an issue with my desktop with some games and switching to 2 or 1 monitor helped the issue.
@@todeskult2818 Depends on what you're going for. Asmon setup is around $8-10k. Good setup would cost $2k minimum. Do you want 2 monitors or maybe better mic with one monitor? Really depends on what you're gonna be doing with it
Its probably a driver issue. She doesnt seem like the kind of person to update her gpu drivers regularly and if she has an amd gpu then probably should update the drivers.
That freezing Emi is dealing with in this footage HAPPENS in DS3. It just randomly does that when it loads areas. But yeah, it probably shouldn't do it that much. I hope the star forge PC she got took care of the issue.
I don't know what kind of system she was running but my son had some similar lag issues. The cause: after a windows update the "power plan" had reset to Power Saver or Balanced. I set it back to High Performance... problem solved.
The need for two PCs to stream is dead now that win 11 and 12th/13th gen cpus are out. The E-cores handle the streaming while the p-cores handle the game. Only people using older intel hardware or amd hardware still do that. If her new PC coming in is a 13th gen system she wont need a 2nd PC. Asmon admittedly knows nothing about hardware.
I first saw the edit of the rage on the clips channel and that edit is great but doesnt do it justice. The first person view of the flailing hands elevates this from a 10/10 to a 20/10.

DS3 always freezes for me also, but after changing the v-sync settings in nvidia/in-game then it works flawlessly. Can't remember exactly what the setup is, but either turning it off in nvidia and only using the in-game one or vice versa... or both on... something like that :D
I don't know her PC specs but regardless running the game "windowed" and with 100 Chrome tabs, OBS and Twitch running in the background will not be helping at all.

So.. it actually could be the controller. Periodic freezing with wireless or bluetooth controller is a fairly common problem in PC games. Not sure if it can still happen with a corded one but that was absolutely not a ridiculous suggestion.
If Emiru would've turned off desktop windows and put only dark souls 3 tab she wouldn't be having this problem I use to have the same issue still I turn of my desktop recorder and she do know hopefully she can move her webcam up

This is a prime example of talent trying to mix with the technical side. Anchors never ran the camera, commercial radio hosts don't maintain their studio, Joe Rogan has Jamie Vernon. No shame in getting support so you can do what you like to do, you're not giving up you're playing the game better by getting your roles ready for the raid.
Just like good video games, good PCs are optimized with compatible part combos and software updates. An expensive PC isn't always a good one if the CPU doesn't like the way the GPU looks at it

i have 0 problem playing and streaming on a single pc but then i do have a i9 12900k rtx 3080 i use nvidia nvenec h.264 as my encoder and use stream elements and i still use 1080p. my pc was running the same when i was streaming Hogwarts and when i was not streaming it. Females have this 1 problem they get hysterical and then dont listen i had a female shouting at me trying to tell her how to save a image to her pc so she could use it as her profile pic in the end i did it my self. sit back relax and think getting hysterical fix's nothing.
She needed to Alt-tab out of game, open task manager, go to details, right click darksouls, and run game in high priority mode. The amount of PC gamers that stutter and don't try this is insane. Windows is a greedy bastard who loves to hog the cpu, so you have to the give the game some breathing room by making the cpu concentrate on the game and not "windows services"

That's a RAM issue.
Close some stuff you are not using, write %TEMP% in the windows search bar and delete everything there.
Then opens the game again.
