I fish 2 types of plastic and 1 jerkbait. Bigger plastics in spring and fall and in clear water or summer night bites I rock the 1” fry on a glow tungsten jig, try that at night in the middle of summer and you’ll be surprised. Crappies don’t need much action just a slow glide back to the boat on semi slack line. Bobbers around structure you can’t cast to. Not much vertical jigging on structure up north but that can be a sleeper technique cause very few do it. Tight lines my friends 🎣
