  • In this tutorial I'm sharing my step by step process for painting a watercolor seascape. And how to paint the seascape from two different angles. I have tried to break the painting process down into simple steps.
    Supplies:
    Watercolor paper, Cold pressed, 100%cotton, 300 gsm
    Teal blue, cobald blue and prussian blue
    White Gouache
    Round brushes and a flat brush (you can also use a larger round or mop brush instead)
    Find me on Instagram and share your creations with me :) Always love to see and connect

    Hello! I am a new sub and I am enjoying your tutorials very much. Watching you paint is so restful for me. I love that you explain everything simply and you are so encouraging. It makes me feel as though I can do this, too. I am relatively new to WC painting and your tutorials have been some of my favourites. I have learned a great deal from you. Thank you for all of your hard work to bring us such lovely videos! I am most grateful. Bless xo

      Thank you 💕 Daniel smith but I also can recommend Schmincke or Winsor & Newton (more affordable alternative with high quality)

    Question. How do u use the white gouache properly so it doesn't loose it's whiteness once it dries? I've tried to use mine...and it loses it's brightness. Strange.

    • @Neginz-Art
      @Neginz-Art  Год назад +1

      This is the tricky part with gouache. Lighter colors can dry darker and darker ones dry lighter. I usually add more layers after it has dried. You also need to make sure not to add too much water so the paint doesn’t become too transparent.
      Another important thing (which you maybe already know but I didn’t in the beginning) is that there are 2 types of white, Titanium white and Zink white. Titanium is more opaque and is good to use on it’s own. And then there is Zink white which is more transparent and is used for mixing with other colors. I used titanium white in this case.
