- Klemens doesn't want to feel guilty about the world we're leaving behind for his grandchildren. He's determined to do everything he can.
That's why he built a tiny house in the Black Forest that is self-sufficient. It gets electricity from solar panels, water from a rainwater phytopurification system, and heat from a modern bathroom heater.

Hello this was a very inspiring video. I was wondering I live in Mongolia where the temperature reaches -40 degrees Celcius. In the capital city Ulaanbaatar 70% of the people live in ger districts where there is no central sewage, water and heating system. Therefore people dig up the ground for human waste system polluting the soil, then in the cold winter people heat coal to cook and to keep warm. This causes air pollution throughout the whole city causing many people cancer and other health related problems. Stress is also a big factor because people are living in extremely unhealthy situations. Your video truly inspired me to know more about how we could use different methods to become more one with nature and also live a comfortable life with fully self sustainable solutions. I would love to know more and share with my people. How can I contact you to learn more. Again truly inspired ❤

Return to your Yurt on the steppes and your life will improve.
I’m sure extremes of temperature are more challenging but there are always solutions x maybe look to people living in similar temperatures like Alaska and see what solutions they have been able to achieve? I’m sure there are ways around everything. In the world we live in today nobody should live in poor conditions but this is this wonderful chaps solution … get out of the government system and live sustainably without relying on the grid!!! As individuals we need to relearn the old ways with modern twists and as communities we should help each other x I believe it is achievable and this guy proves it xxx

@@clovermark39What do you mean? He has open space all around him. I had a hard time finding a spot in Belgium that is 5 meters wide, not 3,5 meters. Low budget that is, close to schools and public transport. Forget the public transport, that was not possible. If every Belgian would want a tiny house with a garden around it, there would be no open space left. And I work full time with 2 kids, building my own house is luxury to me. I spent years of my life renovating a small row house, that was more than enough… My son is very opposed to tiny houses. He sees it as a pipe dream of the ultra rich who would like the masses to be happy to live on 18 m. I’ll share this MV to him anyway because he will love the creative ideas in it.

That's because laws and owners of large houses don't want them nearby. That's nothing to do with tiny houses.
@@_filifjonkan4290 Yes, there is also a fad for converting shipping containers too, and people converting vans to live in, but of course its not practical to raise a family. Perhaps this is the point of the promotion of the 'tiny house'
If the 'tiny house' they show to promote that lifestyle was crammed in amongst other tiny houses people would wise up and realise it is just a method to house the poor and make them content with it

Wow! That is one beautiful tiny house! I’ve seen a lot of tiny house videos and I have to say, this is the most beautiful. I love all the wood and rounded walls and the tiled sink/shower in the bathroom. I love the kitchen as well. Really really nice!

just before he showed the Jiaogulan (Unsterblichkeitskraut) I was already thinking that he reminds me of my father. He's not off grid, but he builds all sorts of things and systems for his house and garden, and he loves sharing his "inventions" and solutions.. and he drinks his Jiaogulan tea every day! :D

I’ve been living in an off grid almost self sustaining property for many years now and what he’s doing is well within everyone’s abilities. New second hand recycled materials and technologies demand less energy and so the cost of acquiring these materials and appliance energy has also reduced considerably. Put a green house structure around this tiny house and you really will transform an average eco tiny house into an all season home to live in. Thankyou for sharing. There are biogas equipment that processes toilet material and so making the system complete. Although plastics can be recycled I would have like to have seen a machine that processes plastic as most households still use too much plastic. Cardboard can be be used for tinder and heating but mixed plastic card board packaging is a more complex problem.

Fantastic place, almost zero footprint. Unfortunately the price of land certainly in my country would make it difficult. Also, minimum size requirements for planning permission also prohibit such homes. Still if you can find a more enlightened and affordable location, it's a wonderful way to live. An inspiration for all.

Smart tiny house
This is my kind of house, lots of soft lines he puts wood on the walls vertically. I hate horizontal timber and straight lines. You can now get a sonic soak for the washing. I have used a biolet in a boat. I hated it. In my houses, I will be using a hand pumped boat toilet. The stuff leaves the house to a compost bin or a biogas generator.
