Step 1: Hydro-Thermolysis - The wood is heated at a high temperature to break down sugars susceptible to mold formation.
Step 2: Drying - The wood is carefully and gradually dried to prevent cracking.
Step 3: Curing - The wood is then ‘baked’ in an oven. This step creates new stable connections within the wood.

One of the most tranquil, relaxing, beautiful homes I've ever seen. I love the natural lighting in the home and the sombre colours, nothing jarring to the eye. Some homes give a heavy, stuffed feeling no matter how beautiful they are....but not yours. Its as if your house breathes on it own, light n breezy n sunny. Love your vision and style of creativity. And I must say, you're a lovely looking woman. Its as if your personality is reflected in your home.

Love the indoor umbrella as I’d thought of that myself quite a few years ago to solve too much sunlight and provide a unique cozy feel. Never got to implement it so I’m excited to see someone else was successful with this!! ( it would have just looked cheap and strange where I was living anyway lol)

Gorgeous home! If I didn’t ski, snowboard, cycle, paddle board, roller skate, or if I didn’t want to grow my own organic kitchen garden full of several varieties of produce, have my sauna/cold plunge, home gym, kitchen full of equipment to make healthy foods…I’d live like this. I have hobbies that keep me active. I understand and can appreciate the sustainable life but for me, my outdoor gear is an investment for longevity.

And she is a very sweet young lady however I don't think she realizes that repurposing things can be toxic not just with materials that were used because there were many that caused death in those errors but also energetically I will agree that with the previous statement that someone made and that is it is a very peaceful environment a lot of intention went into building and designing
It's not so much seeing what they have accomplished but sensing
Some of the furniture as well as coded and treated with toxins I had recently been looking into cork flooring and found that it's very difficult to find a clean source but the benefits are
amazing
It's funny how a lot of the cautionary were about damaging the surface and having to polyurethane in order to make it waterproof one in fact it already naturally is that's why they use it and wine bottles
The industry has really corrupted much of everything and I would much prefer cork over bamboo any day because I have had what was considered to be a bamboo cutting board which became molded and I followed the guidelines and cleaning and drying and it didn't matter
So a lot of us impression that we're doing the right thing and come to find out later down the road that that isn't always the case unfortunately because we do have to rely on others source materials however outside of that I love the fact that they have really filled the house with living matter and I believe that if more people understood bringing nature in has a soothing calming and medicinal benefit not just mentally emotionally but also spiritually
Humans would be a happier race and perhaps they would adopt the philosophy of harming none there is no greater inner peace and knowing that your existence is not at the expense of someone else

hello! love the house! the marble counters are super interesting! Did you consider hemp in-fill for your insulation? this would have prevented the need for drywall, if you were using clay plaster on top of the dry wall :) Also curious if that was your final choice, unless I'm seeing the images wrong :) Lovely house !!

The way how you profoundly thought about what you really needed is a key to build the home that will meet our needs. Therefore, regardless of the humble footage, it provides more than many bigger houses that are rather "generalists," but cannot meet all the specific needs of their owners.

i know 1 kid is ok (2 in one room tull 18?). there was a babybed attached to their bed. the water must be an highly secured area for several years.
