Same! No front plate. 5% on side, and soon to get my windshield tinted.. Got pulled over just today for no plate. Idgaf, gonna zip tie it back on, get it signed off and FUk you front plate
I'm all for it, but would caution people doing it just to do it. 35% offers plenty of privacy, someone has to really be looking to see in, and if you live in the country or an area without street lights like me, a 35% tint is absolutely impossible to see out of at night. I have to crack my side windows to be able to avoid deer and pedestrians. It also significantly deadens colors if you live somewhere beautiful and actually want to see everything. There's a time and a place, but (at least ceramic) tint's have a long way to go in being transparent outwards while obscuring visibility inside the vehicle. My ceramic tint (Ziebart) also did no noticible heat reduction from blocking sun/uv.
Maybe we could go to the root cause of the problem. Change our tag format. Use the European or even Australian format. Tags are way slimmer and fit better with every design. Everywhere I went across the world, cars always have front tags and most of them have the Euro format.
i have a tesla model 3 and i pay $50 more a year not to have a front plate on my car . the DMV does give you a sticker to place on the windshield . so dont always assume the electric car is trying to get over . plus i have to pay a $200 EV tax and i dont complain .
TICKET THE DRIVERS, I BET THAT'LL MAKE THEM INSTALL THE FRONT PLATE! I have a buddy from high school who is a police officer in Lakewood. I went on a ride-along with him earlier this year. Not 2 minutes after we pulled out of the police parking lot, a white Tesla with no front plate came by. We came up behind the Tesla, lit up the red & blues, tappeed the siren, and pulled the guy over. 12 minutes, and a $120 ticket later, we were on our way again.
5% tint all around 35% windshield, no front plates in CA. IDGAF😂
I support you, 20% tint all around 50% windshield , no front plate in NE, IDGAF either been driving without the front since March
@@MidwestResident 20 all around too light. would be better for something like 5% back, 15% front, 35-50 shield
@@luhryan8185 i did it that way to match the back seat factory tint windows

Bullshit, i know alot of people who drive without a front plate in Colorado, Alot of WRX drivers come to mind.
And does Jeff Bridges have a front plate?
@Ricky Robyn Jeff makes the laws, weird not to report on whether or not he sticks to them
"Barnacles did you see that?"
"Yeah, that guy had no front license plate lets get him!"
How does this not have more likes?😂

Many put them on the front windshield.
Note to self: Never buy a Tesla from the Park Meadows mall location. Don't be sticking shit on my car without asking first.
They should put some holes in the front to make it look like Hannibal Lecter at least.

If it’s required by law in your state, it needs to be installed on the vehicle, PERIOD. The Tesla does not require holes, but 2 sided tape.
the tape sux! it doesnt work well.
we pay for a window sticker. and the DMV will issue you one plate
Laws are meant to be broken
I do passionately hate having to have a front license plate. But it does piss me off to see that the electric cars are running around without one.
dont be a hater .
......
The stick on bracket sux!!!
