And they didn’t numb me well enough so when they initially started cutting me I felt it all! This increases the chances of the baby pooping inside you, so they were nervous. Everything was going semi-smoothly and my FIL said “hey, thank God he didn’t poop!” Immediately when his head appeared, he pooped himself. Like he was scared. MIL had to get hosed out.
When I was born there was something wrong with my lungs, so I didn't get enough oxygen. I almost became disabled, and I could have died too. Luckily I'm fine
As a nursing student who just finished my maternity rotation, it's really interesting to hear about cases that we study in textbooks but rarely get to see during clinical, spoken through the mouths of people who have experienced them
LexyBlexy I got subcutaneous emphysema after pushing for 2.5 hours. None of the staff had ever seen it before and they thought I was having an adverse reaction to pitocin. The doctor who rushed in (we have midwives in New Zealand and doctors only intervene if necessary) actually had to google my symptoms on her phone. The left side of my face had swelled up and crackled like cellophane. I actually had staff from different parts of the hospital - like a surgeon and other midwives - come and see me and feel the weird popping. sensation under my skin. Nothing major just a pin prick in my lung and oxygen trapped in my skin - didn’t cause any discomfort, went away in three days and didn’t reoccur with my second birth.
After you give birth the child his or her name has your male partners name. Why tho its the mother who suffers and has to risk their lives for them and most of the time take care of them the most their whole life.
😂😂😂😂 Omg when Allison said "I don't even know how the second baby got in me" I lost it. She's awesome at telling stories. Also I have 2 stories 1) I went into labour with my son at 5 am. At 2:30 pm my contractions literally stopped. Then around 8 pm they start up again and my son was born at 8:17 pm. My husband told me that the town we lived in was under tornado watch. 2) My mom said that I was born in a dinky little mining town. The day I was born they were thinking of evacuating the hospital due to a forest fire.
Felix Felicis haha it’s happened only once or twice but the people are more so joking about it. I don’t mind at all tho I know it’s a joke and If it’s not it really doesnt matter to me
@@Thatgirljules2 Sorry if this is an overly personal question from an Internet stranger, but did you have a positive experience being raised as an adopted child? @@crystall9522 take ALL THE DRUGS lol I wish I had. I had an unmedicated back labor and had to push on my back for two hours. I believe I broke my tail bone. I hope all goes well for you this time around
I was a centimeter or two open. The nurse said I could go home and come back in the morning "baby's not coming out tonight". But she decided to first do a heart film of me for 30 minutes. When she came back I was howling like a wolf out of pain and she got angry because I made so much noise. I had gone from 1cm to 10cm in 30-45minutes. They rushed me to the "birthing room" (no idea what that woud be in english). It did take another 3-4 hours though because the baby was in a wonky position and was coming out head and hand first (basically was born facepalming), I run out of strength because I had the flu and the epidural weakened my contractions and kind of stopped everything. Without the epidural, the whole thing would have been done in 1,5 hours. I only got the epidural because I'm scared senseless at vomiting and the pain made me nauseous. I had woken up to my water breaking. The contractions were very mild. After 12 hours had gone from the water breaking, I went to the hospital to check on things. I actually took a train and walked the rest of the way. At that point I got there I hadn't had any contractions for half an hour. That's when they checked me and told me I could go back home to sleep the night ...And rushed me to give birth 30-45min later :D My first child's birth was quite the opposite in many ways, and an emergency C-section was needed. We were so lucky to get out of that without loosing lives or getting serious health problems. Luckily Finland has one of the best healthcaresystems and especially for kids and mother-to-bes. The cost was something like 100€ for all the care and staying in hospital well fed for 3 days.
@@ineedausername9617 Well, she was yet to realize I was already very suddenly at 10cm 😅 She thought I was overreacting and far from actually giving birth. And there - I guess? - were people sleeping already near by. But yeah - a little harsh to scold me 😅🤦♀️

Immediately when his head appeared, he pooped himself. Like he was scared. MIL had to get hosed out.
That's traumatic 😖
Omg😬
When I was born there was something wrong with my lungs, so I didn't get enough oxygen. I almost became disabled, and I could have died too. Luckily I'm fine
praise God! 🥰
I'm a triplet, yay for my mom!
My mom: :')
Y’all better be giving her amazing presents 😂
Amazinggggg
I love Alison so much😂😂 she is hilarious
that child literally saved her relationship thank gos
what?
i think they meant to say God 🥰
i feel so bad for laughing at the first woman's story but it's so funny and tragic at the same time
I already don’t wanna have kids and this made me even more ok with that decision 🥴
Hi
How are u ❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I do love newborns but….I don’t want to give birth.
As a 11 year old watching this makes never want a baby 😫😖
12:44 "Was I suppose to have sympathy with that?" How Kieona said it was so funny LMAO 🤣
Both my children labors were terrible. Never again.
Oh you poor thing bless you😂🙏
I feel that way about the one I had last week... I can't imagine doing it again.
Aw sis God bless you're a real trooper
My mom always cringes when she sees pregnant women and I ask her why she had 4 kids herself 🤣🤣🤣
Carlos Roldan what?
I’m 3 months pregnant and this did NOT help my fears 😭😭
Ariana Kennedy You got this! You’ll do great :)
Good luck to you and your baby!
Is abortion still possible?
Amy nkie that's evil to even suggest 😡
@@elizabethfuller5508 lol if you think so
This should be renamed Contraception: How not to have a baby 😂😂😂😂
I’ve never loved someone more than that first woman. Omg she’s hysterical! I want to be her friend!
My respect for mothers just got 10000000x higher
I'm a nursing student too, and since I'm doing clinical next year, I love watching this stuff to kind of prepare myself! I find it so interesting!
1:24 "she is a gift from the LORD awesome" 🤣🤣🤣
After you give birth the child his or her name has your male partners name. Why tho its the mother who suffers and has to risk their lives for them and most of the time take care of them the most their whole life.
You know that's a choice right? You get to put whatever last name you want. You can even make one up. It doesn't have to be the males name.
Jean-Mari Schoeman exactly, I have my mums last name but my little sister has her dads last name
Yeahh!! 😐😐
My baby will have my name and my partner will be changing his to ours 🤷♀️💯🔥
@@hanns115 I have both and it’s freaking long
Ashley and her husband is a goal!!! Her husband really stood up of being a father❤❤❤
researching the topic... listening to these stories, I am still amazed how women do this
😂😂😂😂 Omg when Allison said "I don't even know how the second baby got in me" I lost it.

What's with your family and births during natural disasters? Lol.
" So I was enjoying a pizza."
If that won't be me when I give birth lolol
And this why i am adopting-
(Edit: I just watched this video again and I found my comment, holy crap thank you for all the likes💞💞)
Honestly same tho
Also cause I’m gay 😂
I was adopted and my parents said it was the best moment when I was handed to them. I’ll definitely adopt my children in the future too
Julia Wilcox does anyone ever try and insult you saying your adopted? Because if so just say yes 😂
My fiancé and I want to adopt someday, but I worry about the trauma of adoption for future children and never being able to bond with them. How was that for you? (If it's okay for me to ask)
“ my first baby was a -a-c-c-i-d-e-n-t- *surprise* ”
bruh why don’t they let u do the cross out thing anymore it’s not as funny 😔
wait now it’s working

This is so important that these ladies are honest. I really appreciate the truth and the sharing of this really intense personal experience
The first mom was so funny! But poop mom has the most perfect skin and teeth, omg
I want to be friends with Alison, she's too funny 😂
I had one child. Never again. Literally had PTSD with flashbacks.
Completely agree with the comment!
Luckily having my son was financially beneficial 👸🏼
@@Princess-fz1if what an odd thing to say.
@@Princess-fz1if wow why would you even say something like that.
So did I for at least a year and a half. I also had to do 4 months of physical therapy and my bladder is prolapsed. It was a 100% terrible experience. I'm pregnant with baby number 2 now and praying for a better experience this time around.
@@crystall9522 take ALL THE DRUGS lol I wish I had. I had an unmedicated back labor and had to push on my back for two hours. I believe I broke my tail bone. I hope all goes well for you this time around
Alison is literally one of the funniest human beings EVER.
“And apparently my body is so F****** STUPID”
Same
The first woman was so freaking funny 😂🥺
Kieona 😂
“YOU SLEEP WHILE IM OVER HERE DYING!”
That's when they checked me and told me I could go back home to sleep the night ...And rushed me to give birth 30-45min later :D
My first child's birth was quite the opposite in many ways, and an emergency C-section was needed. We were so lucky to get out of that without loosing lives or getting serious health problems.
Luckily Finland has one of the best healthcaresystems and especially for kids and mother-to-bes. The cost was something like 100€ for all the care and staying in hospital well fed for 3 days.
ANGRY at you?? You were having LABOR CONTRACTIONS
@@ineedausername9617 Well, she was yet to realize I was already very suddenly at 10cm 😅 She thought I was overreacting and far from actually giving birth.
And there - I guess? - were people sleeping already near by.
But yeah - a little harsh to scold me 😅🤦♀️
@@ineedausername9617 Unfortunately I've had worse experiences with the "bedside manners" of docs and nurses... 😕 I think I've had an unusually bad luck with that. One hurt me unnecessarily on purpose which was pretty f'd up behaviour. I only realized that later.
Have had some really lovely experiences too though. We, the patients, should report these misconducts more often.
@@Pippis78 i am deeply sorry that you have been treated in this horrible way. Their behavior is a disgrace to medicine. I am happy to hear you have had some good experiences as well
The 2nd lady's story was so cute. Was kinda worried they were gonna be broken up. It's nice that they could still fall in love and take responsibility.
...yep okay never having children
