The richest, the genius and the variety of Chinese martial arts is beyond words. A true cultural gift to the world.
lol People love to buy into the nonsense
@@mortgagefinancing5558 Are ideograms non sense ? Then then, martial arts only are ideograms in movement.
Just don't use it in a fight :D
You had two fathers so you should know about that.
@Dr Von Br its called the us
Me senti bem só de ver tal bela arte .Gratidão ☯️
wonderful.. don't really understand why there are dislikes.. they must be from martial artists who believe martial arts are for violence and oppression instead of truth and self exploration.
+geneticexpert1 Both the fast and slow deserve exploration, but the slow requires wisdom of patience, which the fighters maybe lacking.People afraid to slow down, are only interested in fast happenings. You exercise spirit when you slow down, exercise body when you speed up, and exercise mind when you endure.
This is pure piece of art.It is just unbelievable you see that kind of performance.I wish I could see those guys with "minus" what they could show us?
@Twin Riddle Sadly, I've observed that in many (Americans, at least), age has not brought openness of spirit. The older people I am close to (over age 60) seem so closed in their thoughts and their opinions of the world and others. In them, age seems only to breed bitterness, and in large part has been the catalyst for my own drive to become more open, lest I end up like them. Instead, I've seen that openness most in children, before they let the aged shape their opinions and tell them who not to trust. Thoughts?
@@jimkeen7674 Sadly it is true. I'm one of the few young Americans who wants to learn all martial arts. I recommend anyone who wants to learn martial arts to start with Tai Chi. It's relaxing and it's better to learn balance and coorination first.
There are several reasons why I want to move out of America. Not having an open mind and discrimination is still pervasive. Hate and greed rules America, not it's hard-working people. I wish I can change the country.
There are things in the universe that does,nt need pigeon holing, comparison, words of explanation. like a film, a song, a movement, a poem, a pic, a dance, to name a few. This video for me is timeless. I will enjoy it as it is. Thank you for sharing.
Meng Wing chun let's practice this. This gives us body control and soothes the mind.
The Moon in the stream.
What a beautiful flow! The master looks calm yet incredibly focused!
I could spend two years (I can get pretty low already) developing the thigh and hip strength necessary to get to that depth of snake stance. Then I'd just have to break both my ankles to gain the flexibility to maintain root through the transitions. Amazing.
And his crane! It looks like he could paint with his foot!
This one made me laugh!
I am a practitioner for many years, but had not seen these moves. As you start working them, your concentration gets sharp, your body struggles, your breathing increases, and there is a wondering sense of calm. As soon as I did the Leopard I was hooked. Yes, it's going to take awhile to get to this level.
Such an incredible skills and beautiful movement and shapes! I have never seen this style of qi gong before, but I love it! Truly inspiring, thank you!!
This is the hardest to do and the easiest to watch thing on RUclips!
Hahaha.... yah especially the snake!.
agreed
Its a great form, breath in when you push, breath out when you pull. You dont have to do it slowly.
@@boblazer9220 breath differently all the time, look at the results.
Wudang Qi Gong performed to perfection. The movements are so smooth and controlled .A real master demonstrating the flow that is the very essence of Daoisim
the chinese belief system does not require perfection as such , as this is also illusion. Strive not the strive.....practice makes permanent never perfection? I am from that heritage.
i COULD BE WRONG, TAI CHI IS AT ONE WITH NATURE THERFORE WHEN THERE IS NO RIGID FORM AND EXPECTIONS, YOU ARE YOU, YOU ARE FREE.
I saw my first Crane today sitting very low @11:51 EST. Caught myself from falling trying to advance and really learned the nature of a very patient progression from one form to another.
Thank You Sifu Yuan...
such fluidity and depth of the stances... incredible! Really pure bliss to watch, I can only imagine the sensations...
This is so beautiful. I'm perfecting my animal form: sloth.
El Joelo. Funny!
reminds me my dads old joke:
when i practiced origami, he said "i'll teach you one, it's called origami rock" and crumpled it into a ball
hahhh
@Ace Combatant only a dumbass doesn't get a joke.
Lmao
: ))))
wondeful !!smooth and light move of master yuan.thanks...
Time, space, music and movement: Beautiful!
Truly the most beautiful movements. In order to learn, slow down your videos to .5 or .25. I am finding this makes a difference to follow along with the video. Anyone master the Snake yet?? ha ha These are wonderful poses and high-level difficulty. Thank you so much for recording this and sharing it.
This is so Beautiful and Elegant! I love the music and my favorite is the snake form. Appreciation!! Thank you for sharing!
This is excellent, and beautiful too. Love the music.
Beautiful movements; flexible and strong. Never seen it before. Thanks.
The snake and the crane are simply beyond words! You would have to write a poem to describe it!
How would you write a poem if their "beyond words"
Jim Waugaman aTrue
Agì Alowolowo I meant no disrespect just pointing the irony of phrase ☺️
Raise my leg, i kick the head,

awesome way to test one's form & flexibility!! Wudang masters have my ABSOLUTE respect!
The crane is definitely the hardest. Requiring very good balance. Love the music. The way the gentleman is dressed in traditional clothing n topknot. He choose a very old spot to preform. All very nicely done! Thank you!
Love his flexibility. Definite Tai Chi influence. Snake was marvellous, very Chen style.
Wow that was amazing... I love the music
I wish that, Master Yuan would redo the video again on a better picture resolution. Thank you for sharing with us your masterful skills and knowledge.
Thanks for sharing! Have an awesome day!
Great Video! Anyone who gets into regular Qi Gong practice will find very little to moan about in their everyday life. Outer will circumstances become more and more irrelevant because you will feel sooo good inside!
He reminds me of one of the soilders from the terrocotta army. Come back to life. This guy surely is a master. Love the music to go with it as well.

Beautiful, thankyou, such a powerful expression of life-force, vitality & a truly healthy body : )
Awesome stretching and warm-up exercises. Breathing is also important aspect. I think you inhale while moving into position, hold breath then exhale as moving back from position. Inhale again and hold for position to other side, exhale when returning to start position.
Really gentle and powerful,
Grazie tante ancora Master Yuan Xiu Gang, and You for let available these precious contents even for us..

Thank you very very very much .
柔而帶剛,一流演繹道教精神。
The older quality of the video highlights the flow in time with his interpretation of the forms. Even if that is filled in with editing, it is well done.
Thank you!!
Just...Great!
The music is beautiful 🖤
I've been adding to my health ways gradually this.
#mark jams wonderful.. don't really understand why there are dislikes.. they must be from martial artists who believe martial arts are for violence and oppression instead of truth and self exploration. @James

Absolutely fascinating.I have watched this short video for ten times, and still I like it as mus as I liked it for the first time.
The only difference is, that now I am trying to learn these forms.
Glad to hear! If you ever want to expand your training, come join us in Wudang!! www.wudangwushu.com
Wudang.......so different from the rest like wow...see that dragon spread it's wings....and that crane make a stretch.... very interesting style of kungfu closest to the mystic art I think.
Beautiful.Muito lindo and perfeito,congratulações.
who's playing the guzheng here? love it.
great job! i feel my chi so i understand the value of these exercises.this is like an italian making food, it is in his blood
Mi mente, cuerpo y espíritu, encuentran fusión con este tipo de ejercicios.
I was following along pretty well until he got to 4:23 and my knees told me, "sorry boss, we're not gonna be able to get that low for you". I looked down sadly at them and agreed.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can do that easily, you just have to be run over by a bus at the same time.
@@SkyOctopus1 🤣🤣🤣 you guys are too funny... making me laugh
Ironfangzu ......I know how you feel...I’m hoping that with practice my body will begin recovering and want to do more. I believe our bodies are capable of recovery, at any age, more than modern medicine wants us to know. Don’t give up.
Irrelevant to go that low. You do what you can do. If you spread your legs a little wider you go lower.
I can come close to doing the Crane. It is a Yoga pose actually. It is also a kata created by Soke Tani; amazing. Crane and Snake are my favorite martial arts animals
Nice music:) i love it
