Excellent...this was the way to get our message across against somewhat extra ordinary remarks that bainimarama makes.
To end all this ached breaky heart. A fair advise to those of us that have moved on from Fiji especially from 1987... We can't have a say in any means of way's. We should know about this clearly. But, surely we have deeply concerns about the Native Land Amendments. Vinaka.

Since I left Fiji back in 87 I have no idea of politics etc.. but, always somehow naturally missed Fiji. Obviously going back after 17years I loved the scerinity, food, culture, people alot!!!!.... Now, throughout the later years!... we all come to witness all this!... IF you know what I mean .

Mick you guys had five years, qarase wanted to bring back George speight from prison. you guys had your time u wasted it and runied the country and look at the country. important thing is majority of citizens are actually happy.

+Mick Beddoes so if I don't know much know answer do u agree that George speight's coup in 2000 on a legitimately peoples elected government. what was reason for George speight to be released with the bill which was about to be passed by qarase. qarase is talking about accountability how accountable was he in the years he served. also u talked about military is the only people can form a coup. what about George speight coup. how much influence dis military.
It is important to stick with 'facts' and not what might have been. George Speight is still in jail serving a life sentence for treason which was dished out under the Qarase government. The military supported the Speight coup, the CRW unit who answer only to the Commander [Bainimarama at the time] were part of Speights team and they are also still in jail. In the 10 years since grabbing power via treason the Khai-Bai government have failed to provide any evidence of corruption, nepotism, favouritism, or conflicts of interest involving PM Qarase or his cabinet. With the Khai-Bai government nepotism, favouritism, conflicts are standard operating procedure. Which one of these pillars has made you happy?
As for Mr Qarase's accountability if you want to compare it with the current Khai-Bai government, Mr Qarase wins hands down.

Yes !! Bring back the nepotism and corruption of the gcc.the pinnacle of Fiji institutions..lol...oh really qarase...I wonder if the Indian half of the population would consider it that.. Bainimarama is correct .if all are to be equal in this country and its about time they were, then to bring back this anachronistic stratification would be outrageous.Should India revert to reviving the princely states to ensure good governance?..I don't think so..

The 1997 constitution and previous constitutions was designed to increase the power of the Fijian elite , the Supreme Council of Fijian chiefs and increase the power of native Fijians to the detriment of other groups that also live in the country like Indo Fijians and other ethnic minorities. This was clearly racist. Fijian history has been dominated by racism first in 1987 when a coup overthrew Timoci Bavadra's Indo Fijian government. Then in 2000, when another coup overthrew the Democratic government of Mahendra Choudhary. This has to stop. Frank Bain I'm araman maybe the guy to stop this institutional and political racism of Fijians against other groups: Indians, Chinese, Europeans etc.
gold maple the problem is that when the government took what belongs to the itaukei and want to control it in order to gain from it. Leave our land alone and just help us with education and capital of how to utilize it.
