The Witcher 2 E3 2010 Demo vs Retail PC Graphics Comparison

The Witcher series both games and books originals are one of my favourite fantasy universe. When I recently checked E3 2010 Demo of The WItcher 2 Assassins of Kings I was quite surprised how the game has changed since its presentation/ So I decided to show you guys this as well, and I do really hope you'll enjoy this graphics comparison.
To make this video I decided to use gameplay footage of original retail version of the game instead of widely available Enhanced Edition because of it improved graphics.
Since original is hard to get lately I have used folowing video of Maxed Out PC version with Ubersampling disabled (probably to achieve stable framerate) created by Erix380. So please to make sure to visit his channel and give him a proper thanks!

The witcher 3 got downgraded but the witcher 2 was upgraded

The reason is the same as always, Consoles. Witcher 2 was a PC game with a port to X360, meanwhile Witcher 3 was a multiplatform. If you want another series that could be used as an example just look at the Crysis series, Crysis 2 was nothing as a graphical leap as was Crysis 1

Witcher 3 is a fantastic game with the downgrade. Their ambitions were just ahead of the potential. They tried to maintain, but overall downgrading had to happen. Even so it wasn't as severe as some. Watch Dogs had one of the WORSE downgrades to ever hit.

To be honest the game was originally downgraded. What you're seeing is the Enhanced Edition which is available on GOG/Steam right now.
The retail version looked like shit on PC and had many bugs and didn't feature any DLCs or special cutscenes in the game. It also had some ugly blue tint.

TW3 retail was an upgrade from the retail. The only thing that was really downgraded was the lighting.

Witcher games started on PC, that is why first 2 games are upgraded compared to demo versions. 3 started as multiplatform that is why it was downgraded.

GErald actually looked like it's witcher 1 counterpart in the E3 2010 vesion. I still prefer the updated one.

The witcher 2 e3 demo was a downgrade and the witcher 2 vanilla is a great upgrade and the witcher 3 e3 demo was a upgrade and the witcher 3 vanilla became so fucking downgraded
