Hey guys, give Witcher 1 some slack. It was the first game CDPR ever made. Witcher 2 was a great improvement. They raised the bar on the entire game industry with Witcher 3. Remember when the USA and Japan won all of the gaming awards? Poland shows up out of nowhere and kicks everyone's butt.
I'm tired of people saying Witcher 1 is a super ugly game. First, it's a nearly decade old game made by an (at the time) indie developer that had never made their own game before, and they made it with a crazy small budget. Second, it really doesn't look that bad, even today. Yeah, the models are a little blocky, and the shadows/shading are nothing to write home about, but the overall design and atmosphere is quite lovely, even today. Witcher 1 was looking incredibly amazing when i was released. On that days graphics. Combat was bad i agree, i had so much problems with those controls.

Say what you want, the first witcher had the best soundtrack and atmosphere, it felt exactly like I imagined when reading the books, it had that dark and gritty medieval feel it needed. AND you could actually see the slavic elements in it, unlike the following games.
Funny thing is that the world in Sapkowski's books, while having a lot of slavic elements of course, is based heavily on germanic and celtic mythology (not sure about the second one though), and most character names aren't slavic at all, yet everyone (especially in Poland) are excited how slavic The Witcher is. (although games are a bit more slavic)
I remember when I played Witcher 2 for the first time. I was impressed, the graphics were superior to any other game I've ever played, it still looks amazing right in 2017.
+xyz2theb I think it depends on the situation. Sometimes the Witcher 2 is just absolutely gorgeous, but there are also a lot of moments where there's just way to much bloom and AO. Like already said by someone else, I think making the Witcher 3 look a bit simpler was a good idea. You also have to keep in mind that the world of Witcher 3 is WAY bigger than the world of the Witcher 2 and still runs smoother (at least on my PC).
+xyz2theb Some aspects of Witcher 2 look better to me. But I think it's the style of how they handled the game for DX9. However it is very closed off next to Witcher 3. And I just like the overall world more in Witcher 3. Perhaps if Witcher 3 was as closed off as 2 the detail would be a lot higher in the areas themselves.
+xyz2theb Depends, there are some parts like the assault on the LaValette's castle where the Witcher 2 beats the Witcher 3 out of the water but overall the Witcher 3 looks a lot better except for the nearly always terrible textures.
I seriously don't understand why people like so much how TW2 looks. I didn't think it was very good looking when it came out either and now it just looks old.
+Fresh Dumbledore its more of a: tw2= strong artistic direction+detailed models and enviroments. tw3=better animation, models and detail+huge open world
+nazareno aramendi Somehow i think the most artistic is the first one, The Witcher 1, just think about those loadingscreens! I loved them. And music also. Witcher 2 was good about in lot of changes, like Geralt's face, and Triss style, but somehow i more like to replay the 1 or 3. Enviroment? Have you ever walked in a forest with storm in Witcher 3? Best nature in gameplay ever.
On my alchemist playthrough fighting wolfs on death march was like trying to mess with 10 mini fiends that are trying to fuck me in the ass (sry for bad English)
Despite Witcher 3's graphics being overall an improvement over 2's, I still think 2's amazing lighting and high contrast sometimes makes it look the best of the three.
agreed the second one to me is a gem among them. and how the whole meditation worked and using potions had to be planned so it was more realistic imo the dumbed it down alot for the witcher 3. should have kept some more from the second but eh i ain't complaining i love em all lol
Razvan Musat Yeah ^^ The world and it's atmosphere, the characters and the interaction between them, the bond you get to them, the story. It was just great :D I'll get the DLC's at some point, but currently I am already overwhelmed with many many other games ^^
Geralt 1 felt more like the real witcher. He is darker, less humorous, other asks him what his real motivation is (Personal Choices) if its a more personal hunt for the salamandra or the duty of the work. The world is more darker and dangerous. Some choices gives a cutscene where it has to be said that a witcher must be neutral and don't take a side. And this is one of the main reason why Witcher 1 was so great. In one scene there was a one of the best choices in gaming history. Ally with the elves, or ally with the humans, or take the last chance of what you actually are and go the path of the witchers neutrality and leave the conflicts between those groups. It's not your war.
@@SrPurasAlcachofas He was joking. Get yourself together, and don't call people "retarded", when you're the one who didn't get it. When in doubt, be polite. Otherwise it can backfire, like here.
I liked Witcher 1 a lot because it was kinda the "darkest" of them all. However the award for a masterpiece goes to Witcher 3. Everything seems so perfect in this game, its so well done I actually never believed it would be that good. Also nice to see how Gerald and Triss got older from the first to the last one. Witcher 2 was good but chapter 3 disappointed me to much. Its true that many parts of this game are based on polish folklore. The most characteristic is obviously the music but when I was a kid and lived at my grandmas farm in Poland. She and my grandfather used to tell me a lot of fairy tales, some pretty and some gruesome. One of those horrible tales was about witches living in the nearby forest and they sometimes came out to take the bad kids to their place, cook and eat them lol I was scarred shitless and we all know this weird shit is also in Witcher 3 but its nice, it makes me think nostalgic about good times, thank you CD Projekt Red ;-)
I played the three Witcher games recently. Witcher 1 and 2 are very good games, but Witcher 3 is another level. The history, characters, mechanics, monsters, system fight were improved and gwent is so addictive. The graphics and scenarios at 4k are just insane. It is the most beautiful game I ever played.
I adore witcher 3 but one thing I loved about witcher 2 is amazing artistry and style and atmosphere.. and I love how Geralt was more lively and cheeky and funny in that game...
the witcher 2 was such a huge improvement and imo still compares with new titles graphically even though it needs a really good gpu. The witcher 3 it's gourgeous yet i feel everyone expected more since W2 set the bar so high, enviroment it's hardly better, whereas character models yes were improved greatly. Fantastic Games
+Mateo ST Yes but you have to rememeber how HUGE witcher 3 is! Its impossible to put that level of density into an open world game. The fact that Witcher 3 looks better and is so expansive is a feat of its own already
It's even more impressive if u add that W1 was made on the Aurora engine! The same one, BioWare used to make first Never Winter Night's, but obviously its been beefed up by a CDPR's Engineers to handle the vision that devs had in their mind.
@@119Agent I never really did in witcher 1, don't remember if it was technically possible. In witcher 2, everything was ridiculously tedious and hard until it got unbelievably easy, but until then all you did was dodge and roll around.
@@119Agent You can dodge and parry in 2. You can technically dodge and parry in 1 but it's not active, the game just lets some attacks miss and says "DODGE" or "PARRY", and you can increase your chances of dodging/parrying attacks by getting the relevant skills in the talent trees.
@@klikkemsmcgee9643 you can definitely dodge, i remember because they actually use a pirouette animation - it was just double tap in a direction and geralt would pirouette that way - you can also do a flip over an enemy in front of you!
I'm from Poland and im so fucking glad , people from my country can do amazing things and this is the best what they did. Witcher 3 my favourite single player game forever. (to witcher 4 premier :d)
Yeah w3 and oblivion are 2 games that will go down in history, can't blame the others many were too young when oblivion came out or weren't even born lol
Well, what can I say really. I started to play Witcher 1 just cuz I was bored many years ago.. I played it, and i thought its awesome, totally fell in love with world of Geralt, so I started to read books. Even now, Im amazed, this story is just a mirror, mirror made from Andrzej Sapkowski's genius. I red it more then 5 times, all books and I dont have enought yet. Then Witcher 2 came, I played it, more then 5 times, again and again, it was.. mesmerising... Well and in May, CD Projekt Red revealed a MONSTER, masterpiece. It's not a game for me, definetly. Its an epic story, it feels like another live which you haven't experienced exactly. Its an epic continuation of an epic story. Im so grateful, CDPR. Even today I remember "The Witcher 3 - The Begining" video and that epic sentence at the end "We will once again break new ground and redefine the RPG" you damn succeded!! I can't even explain how much you did (with my rubish english ofc :D) So well again, thank you Mr. Sapkowski, many thanks to you CDPR, and also many thanks to people, who knows, loves and adores witcher's world and share his stories, as much as I do.
i played all 3 and yes i feel old but then again i played the original doom and duke nukem so yeah this feeling has happened many times for me so far. scary and awesome part someday people are going to look at witcher 3 and go how did we think that looked good(because what comes after not saying w3 looks bad)
I've finished playing the witcher 1 last week and i can really recommend it. Of course the graphics and the gameplay isn't the best compared to games nowadays but the Story is unbelieveable good and captivating and just the fact that this game was made 13 years ago blows my mind. It must have been clearly ahead of games created back then!
+DovahkiinBrother1993 What aspects? The shitty story or the shitty gameplay or the shitty locations? Or the nostalgia :o Cause personaly I love to play some old games not because they're good, but that I remember them, and I had fun playing them xD
Eryk Kanciano Ummm, I love the Witcher series, one of my favorites, I just don't like the first one. Even when it first came out and when I played it then I kinda didn't feel like everyone else did. The only thing that was awesome was the lore. Also is saying "go play Battlefield" an insult or? Also how is Battlefield for children? It is played by children that is true, but is it meant for children? No.
Eryk Kanciano Well I was rude I understand that. Sorry. The plot I though was shitty because well... I don't remember it anymore. The stories that are good I remember forever. An example is an old game Halo CE from 2001. I remember every bit of the story to this day, and its been 14-15 years xD The Witcher... Not really. The second game I remember a lot, especially that Kraken boss that I was pissed off, but still had fun. Maybe the reason I don't remember the story of Witcher 1 is because I didn't care xD I only cared about gameplay, and that's what Witcher 1 didn't deliver. Sorry for the long comment :P
I like Witcher 1 Geralt, because he looks less human but still has some aspects of one, and that makes him appropriate for a game about a world filled with monsters.
:'( If only we could see CJ end up like Geralt with him being on PS2, PS3, then PS4, it would've been so badass to see his final outcome haha... Geralt looks so badass and defined in Witcher 3. Perfect transformation!
Witcher 1 felt like the baby of oblivion and AOT. Witcher 2 felt like the baby of Skyrim and AOT. Witcher 3 felt like it's the baby of Assassin's Creed and AOT.
+Gary Singh they aren't realistic, the controls have never been the strength in the witcher series, you can have "realistic" combat whit good controls, like the soul saga
+Gary Singh This game was incredibly easy even on hard. The only challenge was the very top difficulty. The controls are just awkward, it's hard because people are used to more fluid controls
Gary Singh Witcher? hard? lol. tell me how hard "quen, roll, attack" is? Abel Villa the controls for the first Witcher were almost like neverwinter nights. You can click to where you want to go
+gamesandstuffs The hell you talking about? Even with the downgrade the third game looks much better than the second one. The leaps in graphics may not be as huge as it was between 1 and 2, but it's still big.
I know for CDPR team the Witcher 3 is like 10 years after the first Witcher but for those of us who played through both TW1 and TW2 before getting to 3, there is nothing more immersion breaking or disorienting then having **completely** different model/voice actor in each game I'm all for improving character texture, looks appearance and new hair/beard as the tech gets better but changing the whole freaking person 3 times in a trilogy is really bad and I don't know what they were thinking. I mean the only thing that stayed consistent in Geralt is that scar over his eye. TW1 geralt is my favorite. Nowhere near as good looking as TW3 but man did he have character. Especially the English voice actor who was utterly brilliant.
Hmmm, he had it so spot on in the first one, it was dead pan dry sense of humor that said the funniest things in the most sarcastic ways while sounding completely serious. The voice acting along with the story was the highlight of TW1.
The Witcher 2 Geralt is still the best. Looks menacing and scary like he should be with true venomous gaze. Remember Geralt is not supposed to be your Hollywood pretty boy he is scary and villagers locks their doors and windows at his sight. He is a mutant and a killer augmented with the most fearsome and dangerous ritual. I understand that they wanted to make the character more standard in Tw3 (more muscles, taller, bearded, handsome) but let's be honest : he is not scary at all he looks like a cool Uncle Joe or athletic grandpa even in his dialogue he is way too nice and easy. It really doesn't feel like the beast he is in the books or the first 2 games. The Netflix show even worsened that aspect with all due respect to Henry.
IDK but I playing in W1 much more times, best music, best atmosphere etc.But w2 and w3 are very good too.Same whis gothic 1,2 TNOTR.Maybe you are right, it can be nostalgia(Sorry for english, but i'm Ukrainian, i hope you understand)
i realy feel u... i dont know what make its so special... maybe the music? or kinda feel of a new advanture in a groomy world without seeking yannefer and ciri i think that the prespective of the game make its feel more medival and more sad-tragedy what make u feel more connected for the poor souls... its like... in the witcher 3 characters dies but u not feel for them like in the witcher 1... i dont know why... the witcher 2 and 3 are truly amazing but the atmosphere of the first game was absolutly amazing! I think that even its not big open world its really fit for the atmosphere like "place u have visit u can visit no more" but in a good and story wise way' beacuse its still kinda open and u have interesting side quest development. and in the witcher 2 its was hard to feel that beacuse u were too deep in politics and its was no more a personal advanture its like a matter of state... (and the slavic touch has a little rule in that game) and the witcher 3 go far more erupean in my idea... still amazing games but the feelings of the witcher 1 was the most stronger then all
I havent played the witcher 3 yet but I definitely enjoyed the Witcher 1 more than 2. The witcher 2 is just more colorful and not as bleak as i wanted it to be but I know I'm in the minority..
I thought it was only me. I didn't like witcher 2 and 3 that much. Because of bright colours, it never felt real to me despite the graphics upgrade. With Witcher 1 sometimes, I felt like I could smell the world. Because it was dark and grim it adds more atmosphere. I really love Witcher 1.

(although games are a bit more slavic)
I remember when I played Witcher 2 for the first time. I was impressed, the graphics were superior to any other game I've ever played, it still looks amazing right in 2017.
Witcher 2 is just a bloomy overkill. I'm glad they turned down the bloom in Witcher 3.
Don't forget the shit ambient occlusion.
Gloom?
***** bloom*
+Giuliano Lopez Raffo why ao is a shit?
Cobakaable It was way too much ao.
That shove at 0:30 was the funniest thing I’ve seen for some reason 😂😂😂
The three games are absolute masterpieces, i love this trilogy.
Yet Poland did the job with games
Geralt looks fucking goofy in the first game.
Yes lol frogot The witcher 1 they should do a remake with the witcher 3 Graphic :D
They should do a trilogy remastered edition.
+K-Riddle93 lol i love first witcher. this fight style and nostalgic graphic.Awsome game
but with the same terms! greyish and dark world and less bright and shiny like in the witcher 3
(not sayin TW3 was not amazing but still)
Uh... no. He looks like a person.
in my opinion witcher 2 looks the best.
I agree. The art style looks more appealing to me.
I think that TW2 has a better graphic style but TW3 has better realism .... and thats the difference between style and realism
+Alejandro Segovia exactly
+Fresh Dumbledore
its more of a:
tw2= strong artistic direction+detailed models and enviroments.
tw3=better animation,models and detail+huge open world
+Alejandro Segovia The art direction in the W2 is to this day, unmatched. The Witcher 3 doesn't even compare.
+nazareno aramendi I actually prefer the witcher 3 the most,l It just has the best texture and graphics quality.
Why does geralt look like an argonian in the first game?
LMAO
its the must lore face in fact... the books always says that he was pretty ugly but have atrractive personlity
I think he looked better. A mix of ambiguity, handsomeness, ugliness and creepiness.
didnt you know? the lusty argonian maid book is actually based on the witcher
Because that's pretty much how he was described in the books
The battle scenes were poor - no blocking, dodging, parrying, no whirl attack...
I agree.
Yeah no offence it's just something I noticed
Whirl attack is OP af. On death march, that shit makes it feel like Easy.
Nah man, if there are spear guys or hammer guys or maybe shield guys they are gonna destroy you and ignore that whirl attack
I must say, The Witcher 3 is the best game of 2015 by far. And Yes! It also beats Fallout 4 by far.
+Levi Ackerman Yup, Witcher 3 was amazing.
Razvan Musat Yeah ^^ The world and it's atmosphere, the characters and the interaction between them, the bond you get to them, the story. It was just great :D I'll get the DLC's at some point, but currently I am already overwhelmed with many many other games ^^
+The Avid Gamer goaty simulator 3: the goat hunt
Tbf beating F4 is no accolade.
@@theavidgamer6213 nope it's last of us but it's still up there
Geralt 1 felt more like the real witcher.
Man if you haven't, definitely read the books. They talk a lot about that idea in the books.
SwordsInTheWind gonna respond to a 2 yr old comment but no, geralt is technically much talkative eather than the silent type as shown in the books.
The Witcher 1: best nostalgia
The Witcher 2: best story
The Witcher 3: best gameplay, graphics, content and biggest map size
Witcher 3 has the best story too and first two games aren’t even open world to begin with, even White Orcard is bigger than hub areas in these games.
not the gameplay but only Story.
Whatever you say, kid
@@AFT_05G the story in 3 is easily the worst. Not Bad, just the other 2 are better written and don't Focus on aide stories.
I prefer witcher 1
witcher 2 has really awsome graphics
Idk oof true
Idk oof Witcher 3 has really better graphic ;)
@@SrPurasAlcachofas He was joking. Get yourself together, and don't call people "retarded", when you're the one who didn't get it.

Witcher 3 to this day is still THE MOST BEAUTIFUL game I've ever seen.
One of those horrible tales was about witches living in the nearby forest and they sometimes came out to take the bad kids to their place, cook and eat them lol I was scarred shitless and we all know this weird shit is also in Witcher 3 but its nice, it makes me think nostalgic about good times, thank you CD Projekt Red ;-)
isnt just 2-3 years between 1 and 3?
Geralt shouldn't actually get over between the span of a few years. He's a Witcher almost one hundred years old, he ages far slower than average men.
@0:29 Out the way, bitch. I know a lot of games do that, but that struck me as funny.
I'd forgotten how much the bloom in Witcher 2 hurt my eyes
You can turn it off lol
I play The Witcher 1 for the first time. It's really good. I am in Chapter 2.
5 years later should I buy it?

Tw2 : favorite geralt model
Tw3 : human look like
''Geralt in TW1 is scary''...
Exactly, compared to the books, Geralt in TW1 is more accurate, he isn't 'handsome' or 'pretty boy', or athletic.
He's a witcher... How is he not "athletic"????
@@DevanshAsthana well he isnt pretty boy but he does look athletic in the first game as well
actually in the books geralt is not that ugly, the potions make him ugly and ''ghoulish''. he even has some handsome facial features.
He is handsome in the books. He is not ugly just pale
@@Maximumdiscipline vampire
geralt went from drug addict to normal hipster
Guala Nejo Why tho?
"normal" hipster haha
Well he drinks drugs, I mean potions
all are very beautiful
damn
I played the three Witcher games recently. Witcher 1 and 2 are very good games, but Witcher 3 is another level. The history, characters, mechanics, monsters, system fight were improved and gwent is so addictive. The graphics and scenarios at 4k are just insane. It is the most beautiful game I ever played.
Can't believe triss and yen shagged geralt in Witcher 1 when he looked like they'd found him on the side of the road with a bong in his hand.
Can't belive that Witcher 2 still looks soo good today😮
Geralt is like wine. The more he ages, the more handsome he becomes.
I adore witcher 3 but one thing I loved about witcher 2 is amazing artistry and style and atmosphere.. and I love how Geralt was more lively and cheeky and funny in that game...
Even as old as it is, Witcher 3 is still one of the most beautiful games.
Yes by far
indeed.
the witcher 2 was such a huge improvement and imo still compares with new titles graphically even though it needs a really good gpu. The witcher 3 it's gourgeous yet i feel everyone expected more since W2 set the bar so high, enviroment it's hardly better, whereas character models yes were improved greatly. Fantastic Games
maybe because the Witcher 2 is one of the most linear Rpg's you can find, that's why the graphics look so good
+Mateo ST Yes but you have to rememeber how HUGE witcher 3 is! Its impossible to put that level of density into an open world game. The fact that Witcher 3 looks better and is so expansive is a feat of its own already
Thanks for putting in the effort for this video. Good to see side by side comparisons.
It's even more impressive if u add that W1 was made on the Aurora engine! The same one, BioWare used to make first Never Winter Night's, but obviously its been beefed up by a CDPR's Engineers to handle the vision that devs had in their mind.
I actually think tw2 Geralt has the best look... I mean yes tw3 definitely has the best graphic
I feel the same. He looked more evil in TW2.
Yeah. He looks more mysterious and powerful
Yep, he looks more mutant, the way it should be. In TW3 he looks like a semi normal dude with white hair.
You need to learn how to dodge and parry. Haha
If it's any comfort OP I suck at dodging and parrying too haha. Luckily levelling up Igni & Axii does the job 90% of the time.
Can you dodge and parry in 1 and 2? I never see anyone do that and they never get hit in combat.
Polan can into space?
Long Live CD Projekt Red. Poland became my favourite country since I played TW3.
Lol look at this guys logic. "Witcher was made in poland. I am from poland too. Therefore poland is amazing". Fucking idiot
psychoticdrunkard it's called being proud of your country... (not to be mixed with nationalism, that's bad)
arthur staal Nationalism is bad? Why?
Witcher 1: Geralt the Human Blender
Witcher 2: Geralt likes to roll
Witcher 3: Geralt likes sidestepping
Geralt’s jawline in the Witcher 1 is goals
People who are saying witcher 1 was bad are the same guys who says skyrim >>Oblivion
Yeah w3 and oblivion are 2 games that will go down in history, can't blame the others many were too young when oblivion came out or weren't even born lol
Witcher 1: wanna abduct a kid?
Witcher 2: wanna do drugs?
Witcher 3: 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒈𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒕?
I can't even explain how much you did (with my rubish english ofc :D)
So well again, thank you Mr. Sapkowski, many thanks to you CDPR, and also many thanks to people, who knows, loves and adores witcher's world and share his stories, as much as I do.
Story = The Witcher 1
System Combat = The Witcher 2
World = The Witcher 3
Thanks for the comparison vid!!

Man I love seeing these improvements graphically wise. Imagine 20,30,50 years from now how awesome games will be/look/play!
Excalibur i can't Image a huge improvement on graphics in 20 years. Because look at the new games now, they are all looking stunning already
SenorReis That's what people said in the early 2,000's
Erik Coreas true! but im hyped for the future:D

i played all 3 and yes i feel old but then again i played the original doom and duke nukem so yeah this feeling has happened many times for me so far. scary and awesome part someday people are going to look at witcher 3 and go how did we think that looked good(because what comes after not saying w3 looks bad)
U fucking wot? I was 7 when W1 came out and I was playing that game over and over again.
It's crazy how massive the jumps in quality are between these three games
You r definetly here after watching the witcher from netflix
Still Witcher 1 is the best in my opinion :) Not visually of course. In other aspects.
+DovahkiinBrother1993 What aspects? The shitty story or the shitty gameplay or the shitty locations?
Or the nostalgia :o
Cause personaly I love to play some old games not because they're good, but that I remember them, and I had fun playing them xD
+rdejano3 - Mile & Dejo genious soundtracks, genious climate, Awesome plot... go and play battlefield, Witcher is not for children
Eryk Kanciano
Ummm, I love the Witcher series, one of my favorites, I just don't like the first one. Even when it first came out and when I played it then I kinda didn't feel like everyone else did. The only thing that was awesome was the lore. Also is saying "go play Battlefield" an insult or?
Also how is Battlefield for children? It is played by children that is true, but is it meant for children? No.
rdejano3 - Mile & Dejo ok, I understand you, this is just annoying when someone says "this is shit","shitty story" without arguments
Eryk Kanciano
Well I was rude I understand that. Sorry. The plot I though was shitty because well... I don't remember it anymore. The stories that are good I remember forever. An example is an old game Halo CE from 2001. I remember every bit of the story to this day, and its been 14-15 years xD
The Witcher... Not really. The second game I remember a lot, especially that Kraken boss that I was pissed off, but still had fun. Maybe the reason I don't remember the story of Witcher 1 is because I didn't care xD
I only cared about gameplay, and that's what Witcher 1 didn't deliver. Sorry for the long comment :P
Witcher 2 still holds up
What?! A game from 2007, another one from 2011 and another one from 2015 all look different? Impossible
I like Witcher 1 Geralt, because he looks less human but still has some aspects of one, and that makes him appropriate for a game about a world filled with monsters.
Witcher 1 Geralt reminded me alot of Jar jar binks "Meesa fucks trissa now"
+Texas Maverick i am scarred for life
Texas Maverick lmao 😂
witcher 1 looks dark and cool :0
witcher 1 look like a death metal song

witcher 2 looks amazing for its time
That combat stance on witcher 1 tho XD
Karl Anthony Adonis he's a rare spycrab.
What's AOT?
I always felt Geralt looked drunk when he is fighting in The Witcher one, but certainly the animation has improved a lot now.
And when he was drunk all I could see was Astigmatism
So the controls have been floaty since the first game. Now I know.
Realistic, not floaty. The game isn't hard because of the controls, it's hard because modern gamers are used to easy games.
+Gary Singh Damn straight. Remember when we had to spend months to figure out how to go through a level (due to no internet).
You can click to where you want to go
Geralt in Witcher 1 looks like Rick Sanchez with long hair
witcher 1 geralt looks like he was dropped on the head as a baby lol
jfc Witcher 2 looks almost as good as Witcher 3... that downgrade fucked em up
+gamesandstuffs The hell you talking about? Even with the downgrade the third game looks much better than the second one. The leaps in graphics may not be as huge as it was between 1 and 2, but it's still big.
+LaborIs4Plebs I think that Triss looks way better in Witcher 2 ;-)
The voice actor for geralt was the same in each game he just got raspier as they went along
Damn, I would have sworn they were different.
POlish voice actor is the same. They must've fucked up some paperwork in english version.
Hmmm, he had it so spot on in the first one, it was dead pan dry sense of humor that said the funniest things in the most sarcastic ways while sounding completely serious. The voice acting along with the story was the highlight of TW1.
The English voice actor sucked utterly.
I actually prefer the witcher 2 at some parts! ^^
Elven bath
Puberty hit him harder than a meteor
Sorry, but Witcher 1 still best for me.
(and the slavic touch has a little rule in that game) and the witcher 3 go far more erupean in my idea... still amazing games but the feelings of the witcher 1 was the most stronger then all
עמית עציץ Nice comment.Yep, same for me.
I havent played the witcher 3 yet but I definitely enjoyed the Witcher 1 more than 2. The witcher 2 is just more colorful and not as bleak as i wanted it to be but I know I'm in the minority..
John Smithy better get witcher 3 asap, definitely the best game on this gen imo (I don't count tlou because it was a PS3 game)
WITCHER 1 BEST IMO. BETTER STORY, CHARACTERS, CLIMATE. I CAN PLAY THIS GAME EVERY YEAR.
One of the things that I loved on TW1 are those sword styles.
That's a really weird opinion. I thought the game was absolute horse shit.
