Also a thing to note is all 3 games came out years after each other with completely different production times. RDR2 was in production the same time witcher 3 started and came out 3 years later. ACValhalla had a years worth of production and came out in 2020. Terrible way to see which is the better game when its quite clear
@@lts_Hyde because R* has better engine. how long or fast the game progress I think is largely down to the plot and the quests. ubisoft's plot is mediocre rubbish, and the cheap quests are boring. that's why they make almost 100 games and not a single goty. while R* is different. In terms of physics, R* has a superior engine, euphoria ragdoll, they also use a lot of graphics engines in the rdr2 engine.
Not mentioning that The Witcher 3 was released in 2015 (intended for 2014), RDR2 in 2018 and ACV in 2020. Clearly the RDR2 is the most accomplished on the physics! But is it in term of lore, pretty hard to beat the Witcher on that account! ^^ Such great games...😎👌💝

RDR2 and Witcher 3 are in my opinion, from story perspective, the absolute peak of writing in whole of gaming. Both are my favorite games, yet I can't put one before the other, because each gave me something different. Both carry a strong message and the execution is perfect. Both games made me tear up and changed my views a little. Both are not just a game, but a lifetime experience. I doubt I will ever play game that could even barely reach the level these two stand on
Also don`t forget that witcher 3 is game number 3 that CDPR ever made, Rockstar and Ubisoft made a bit more games before. Plus all what i can see here is engine, physic, no gameplay and no scenario at all... lets call VR room projects as GAME as well then

in Witcher 3, Geralt's footprints not being that visible or not sinking into the snow is actually explained by him being a witcher and witchers' footsteps being almost intrackable. There is this one quest "where cat and the wolf play" which they adress this
The amount of detail that went into creating Red Dead 2 is just insane. I do have to say kudos to the Witcher 3 because that's not a new game by any stretch and it still plays great.

Overall the graphics looks great, but you are right, who the hell cares that the horse balls are shrinking when its could outside... For me the western setting wasn't my favourite, I didn't find the story good, the gameplay was literally horrible, I couldn't enjoy it. I don't have any problem with those people who like the game, but if Cyberpunk 2077 got a hate outrage then RDR2 got a unnecesary hype outrage...

The Witcher is a very special and interesting game with awesome lore. Red dead redemption has amazing phisics. If we combine this two we have pure perfection.
My thoughts exactly. Rdr2 has some amazing features and is no doubt a great game but the core shooting mechanic is so bad that it is damn near impossible to be effective without slow motion, dead eye should have been a special move, not essential. It is a shame how bad the shooting is because outside combat and the horse riding simulator it is an amazing game that otherwise would have been a 10/10 imo
@@AFT_05G It was good enough for other games to try and replicate but all the perks, potions and magic had limitations set by the narrative. The intensity of the dual system in ghost of tsushima, blocking system of for honor and trapping system of Horizon would have been great additions but the combat system in witcher is not dependent upon something equal to a cheat move to work. The closest to dead eye as far as gameplay goes in a sword game is in rising revengence but in that game the slow mo was a special move that was not required at all to make the combat work. But the Witcher fist fights sucked ass lol
Red dead redemption 2 is the winner for me . Good story with 4 different endings depending on your choices . Peak realism. NPCs treat you differently on the basis of your actions . Random but detailed side quests. Beautiful environment and graphics. Treasure hunts Interaction with environment and animals. Insanely minute details Random encounters like you can see a bear fighting group of wolves even just a normal conversation with an npc can turn into a fight lol. Hunting is also fun and realistic. Last but not the least the horse is realistically detailed, you can see him poop lol and he will stay away from water , be too harsh on him and he will kick you to death. You even feel bad if the horse is injured 😂 Even the environment itself has mysteries in it or some random encounters. And yeah also the storyline Is great and kinda emotional 😭

Witcher 3 was released in 2015 and still ranked the best game in the history in some gaming websites. In my opinion it is the best RPG game ever, there's nothing in this game you can criticize negatively. The gameplay, the graphics, the environment, the soundtrack, the side quests which are better than some other RPG's main quests, the dlcs, the mods(there is litteraly nothing to complain about, and it's coming from a gamer who complains about games details a lot). You play it as a 3rd game of the serie but feels like you can understand everything in the world without the need to go back to the 2 previous games. Anyone who complains about such a game haven't experienced the true meaning of the game, or a RPG game. I spent 100 hours only on the main game, there are 2 dlcs left which are said to be even better than the original game. And to be honest, I never thought about buying a RPG game,(only pirating them) because it costs a little much to me even with the discounts. I only bought ARMA 3 and GTA 5 in my entire 10 years gaming. But this is the first and maybe the last RPG game I will ever buy. The reason I bought this game is as a thanks to the team for making such a game, they deserve it and for the next-gen graphics.
Witcher 3 is not a rpg games its action adventure with leveling system in fantastic world and in 2013 gta 5 has realistic gameplay more than 2015 witcher 3. All of this dont changes that witcher 3 is one of the best games in the history

@@nightdriver7216 yeah i think the same too. The combat is overrated. It is one thing that i want to criticize of the game, despite how I put it as the best game I ever played. They give us many combat options, but other than swords, fast attack especially, nothing is efficient enough. Crossbow build doesnt work, bomb build doesnt work, and even sign build is just somehow works. But with the sword build, especially euphoria, it is just too overpowered. I even complete a 85 level difficulty while still in 58, though one hit would kill me, but overtime i killed the spider boss too. Not to mention it is in death march difficulty. With other build? Nah even killing the same level would be hard.
Keep in mind that the Witcher 3 came out in 2015, and even today it is the point of reference for rpgs. Of course it falls short when it comes to physics if you place it side by side with a new game, but still I cannot rank it less than no1, the graphics, the story, the soundtracks, the perfectly made openworld etc, it's just number 1

Crossbow in Witcher plays very insignificant role, while in Valhalla and RDR2 bows are much more important. So it's kinda not fair to make so many bow comparisons.
Let's be honest, The Witcher 3 is the oldest one so it's obvious that it's has less elements of physics (W3 2015 vs RDR2 2018 vs ACV 2020). And BTW authors of RDR2, Valhalla, even Ghost of Tsushima, said many times that they followed the example of The Witcher series (how to build interesting world). About the rest, they added their own mechanics, improved other things and we've got what we have. That's why The Witcher 3 continues to amaze me, because it was a precursor and still is beautiful (not to mention what is with mods). Of course all these games are very good.
Don’t forget that The Witcher 3 is just that; the third game in the series. Each one built off the previous game and made huge leaps and improvements. I can imagine if CDPR had focused on making a 4th Witcher game instead of Cyberpunk 2077, it naturally would’ve been on the same level details-wise as RDR2. Or at least very close to it.

RDR2 offers you a few mediocre missable sidequests where you go fishing or hunting for the most part (helping Mary was a good side quest though) or a ton of stupid filler 'challenges' that challenge more your time than skill whereas Witcher 3 has so many good side quests (a thing that has been carried over to CP77 as well). I honestly have never gotten bored of Witcher 3, a thing that I can't really say about RDR2, sadly.

I will give water and swimming to AC Valhalla. Swimming in RDR2 was meh and you couldn’t even swim as John. The water in AC Valhalla looks better in my opinion. Everything else goes to RDR2.
My opinion: gameplay and story RDR2 = W3, Valhalla is shit (copy paste from other AC games) But yea, I agree with you, but RDR2 is 2018 game, W3 is 2015 game (from much smaller studio - much much much smaller) - i love both games (w3 and rdr2).

I mean that isn't really fair to the Witcher, you used the least important weapon to showcase pretty much everything. I understand that the bow is the common denominator between these games but it holds such little importance in the Witcher. It is pretty much just used for underwater combat and for interrupting enemies. Cast Aard to demonstrate the water physics, throw a bomb, do something else. It doesn't have to be a 1-1 comparison, showcase each concept the way it is represented best within each game.
Damn. This is the second time I see someone coping real hard in the comments. First one was in TLOU2 vs RDR2 and now here. First of all the graphics in Witcher 3 were downgraded and they dont look as amazingly as they used to. The details such as water physics when Aard is being cast have been downgraded too. Second of all, you said that the crossbow in Witcher 3 is the least important weapon therefore he shouldnt use it and yet one can argue that in RDR2 the bow is also the least important weapon. Thats the hardest "NOOOOO YOU CANT SHOWCASE WHATS BAD IN THE GAME" cope I have ever seen today. Casting Aard and throwing bombs would not have the same effect as shooting an arrow into the water. Long story short: CDPR messed up when they didnt include details like this, even for the "least important weapon in the game".

Now lets take AC: Valhalla: The explosions in this game are very weak, the details are super 2D and weird looking. The game has horrible effects. Overall: RDR2 wins, second is Witcher 3 and AC:Valhalla loses. Now for the continuation of our original argument: You are coping way too hard and sooner you realise that CDPR doesnt care about you and Witcher 3s only good side is the side content and characters then you will realise just how wrong you were for trying to "make justice for Witcher 3". You can literally try to showcase anything from Witcher 3 and it will be either completely bad or awfully mediocre when it comes to gameplay.

This is crazy. CD Project Red was a Indie Developer until Witcher 3 released and made them as much money as it did. Witcher 3’s budget was a fraction of the cost of both of these games and also made in 2015. If we go off gameplay, story, replay ability, your bond to the characters, etc. it’s Easily, Witcher 3 > RDR2 > Valhalla. RDR2 is however the best open world game to release since Witcher 3. Valhalla honestly shouldn’t be compared to these 2 masterpieces.

Valhalla wins in the looks department but red dead wins in terms of how good every thing looks in correlation to how the character and npcs react to the beautiful environment around them. Red Dead all the way.
Graphics and physics will be forgotten; story, lore, gameplay, characters, atmosphere, soundtrack, protagonist and the SOUL will remain. Thats why The Witcher 3 is still the best among these. EDIT: I know Arthur Morgan is a very good protagonist too, but I just prefer Geralt of Rivia.
The fact that W3 came out in 2015, and holds its own with these two newer games, and that people are still finding new bits of info and game play speaks worlds, plus it's moral delimmas were and still are arguably the best in gaming to date. And if we are honest, without W3, we wouldn't have as polished and complex versions of RDR2 and ACV. They took everything the W3 gave us and refined it. All 3 are amazing, but it's hard to overlook the amount of influence W3 holds over open world games and their physics since it's release. And while it's nothing with the "prettiness" of the game, the choices in W3 are what makes the game so damn good to me. Also if you want a fair comparison, compare W3 Arkham Knight And Fallout 4 all 3 were released in 2015.

I mean good physics and details aren’t what make a game the best. Sure them being there helps but if red dead redemption 2 didn’t have a good story, good world design, and fun customization and still retained these details no one would be playing it. For example Valhalla has better details than Witcher 3 but I don’t think many people would say that Valhalla is better.
rockstar games are revolutionary in the technical way in terms of gameplay its the same game since Gta 3 and there is no freedom in their missions which is shameful for an openworld
Games aren't physics simulations. Games are about immersive worlds, good stories and gameplay. Despite their age, Dragon Age Origins and Fallout new Vegas are still to this day some of the best games made.
@@slxdge0276 Yep, in some aspects Rockstar are completely in their own level. Physics, graphics, world and character detail have no comparison. In some other aspects they are even below average. I guess it depends on how much you value each aspect, imo Rockstar games are overrated, I don't enjoy their gameplay that much and their writing style is not for me.
Read Dead Redemption II es un auténtica OBRA MAESTRA y con mayúsculas. Ese juego tiene detalles hasta en los mismos detalles. Para mí de lejos el juego más perfecto a nivel técnico que eh tenido la oportunidad de jugar. El único que para mí se le acerca es TLOU part II, con la diferencia de que Rockstar dió un paso más largo al conseguir ese nivel en un juego de mundo abierto, eso ya es llegar a niveles estratosfericos, simplemente maravilloso. 🤠🐴🥇♥️
Witcher 3 might not have the fancy animations, snow physics, etc. but the amount of high quality side quests and different choices you can do in them, make it a winner for me even though I love RDR2 (haven't played Valhalla yet tho)
RDR2 might have a ridiculous amount of detail, but it often is an extremely tedious, slow and boring game to play, including obnoxiously bad menus and controls.

The story the characters the interactions the music how you hunt and research all the different monsters the difficulty unless you play on noob which is disrespectful. How Geralt is a pimp. The different schools of witchers. The 2 swords! One for humans and one for monsters the magic the potions the strategy. The different bad ass armor. Side missions and Witcher contracts the millions of hours of gameplay. Top 3 games ever and it’s not even close. Why do you think they made a live action show that’s how good it is. Not very fair comparison. Witcher 3 is much older game made by smaller studio at the time. Rockstar is a multibillion dollar company. But despite that, Witcher 3 still holds up really well today in terms of gameplay, design, and writing. I'd argue that no game has surpassed Witcher 3 as an overall experience. You either tried and love Witcher 3 or never played it. Can't say the same for the other 2.

Witcher 3 was a game from 2015. when the the release of the ps4 console itself was still fresh and most PC owners considered the game a bit demanding to run. that was 3 years before RDR2's release. the thing is, Witcher 3 redefined open world rpg's, gave inspiration to the current AC format and probably a bit of inspiration for RDR2 development. each and every side quest were fun and engaging in the witcher 3. 7 years later and it is still hard to beat. so yea outdated physics whatever.

The Witcher 3 - 2015 Red Dead Redemption 2 - 2018 Assassin's Creed Valhala - 2020 Considering the release date, ACV should be the best one but it isn't, and the witcher 3 should be the worst one, but it isn't... RDR2 is the best one on my humble opinion, but the witcher 3 is my favorite.

I know that in GTA V you can follow NPCs and see a lot of things they do, but you can do it in the TW3 too. There are many secret quests, secret outcomes, secret dialoges, easter eggs and so on... And also the fact how well CDPR adapted and built their whole witcher franchise from Andrzej Sapkowski's books is simply amaizing, they made most of the caracters, places, monsters look and be exactly like they are described in the books, so I would say the witcher 3 is also very detailed and you can easily put more than a 1000 hours in it if you use mods and NG plus
Played all 3 extensively and this is my verdict Ac Valhalla All on all, compared to the other two, its trash. Extremely forgetable and booring characters. Story? Go there help out and earn that regions favour. Gg Rdr 2 - Like a movie. Gameplay, polish, engine, all soo incredible. Some times i start it just to walk and do no quests. Story is decent but gets quite repetitive. We need money, we do some quests till we get to that chapters "one last job", it goes bad and we relocate. Rince and repeat. Witcher 3 A game which ruined other games for me. If you play some of it's soundtracks for me, it will force me to start a new playthrough. Soo many memorable characteeeersss. Geralt Yen Triss Ciri Dikstra Philipa Eilhart Avallach Vesimir Eskel Lambert Gaunter Hjalmar Ceris Keira metz Reigis Zoltan Roche etc.. Suchh a good story. Only game I didn't play to see what happens in the end but what happens next. No other game for me will ever be close to witcher 3
I've only played rdr2 and valhalla, and for me rdr2 is the best game I've ever played, but I bought the witcher 3 now and it's installing it, let's see if it will change my mind
I just got Witcher 3 too. And btw rdr2 is so not tinge and repeat. I could and have played the story multiple times. It’s so well done. Sometimes u r robbing a bank l, yes. But that could be in a big city to a smaller town. And therefore different. The fact that ur gang is always moving mean that u are never in the same part of the map for long. And u do different things from robbing houses to banks. To shooting bears and bison or tracking down a crocodile or going to Tahiti or becoming a deputy or making war between two different houses is absurd. And the side quests are insane a the most varied of any game I’ve played, they range from helping someone who’s been kidnapped under a gunsmiths shops to being robbed yourself. Or helping someone get somewhere. Or getting the legendary animals. I mean the variation of map is like the witchers meaning it’s huge and different already. So I don’t know what u mean when u say that. Rdr2 is NOT rincevand repeat

And to keep it from being samey is shorter. And after that more side quests. The only part where I agree with u is that the farming side is pretty dull and repeated. You establish a camp, find some local characters, interact with them in various of missions, plan some big score, the score fails and you relocate. That happens 5 times in total. But I never said that it was bad. No no, red dead 2 is the first game I enjoyed for most of it's playthrough and actualy finished after witcher 3. Witcher 3 kinda ruined games for me. So to actualy finish a game is a big deal. And I did finish rdr 2. Enjoyed it actualy. Im also working on a big rdr2 video which should come out next year.
I didn't think rdr2 it's repetitive...Every mission is unique, and there are mechanics made for a mission only, in the story you do a lot of unique and diferent things, and the camping around stuff is to show how Dutch is going insane and denying their failure by repeating the same actions for money
Besides obviously rdr 2 winning, it's one of the only games ever made that makes you really like the characters, and the story is amazing, in short: it's the best game ever, simple as that.
Rdr2 is a more intractable and graphicly impressive than W3. But it does not stand up story wise. In regards to side missions, lore and endings the W3 is a absolute masterpiece and I doubt it will ever be beaten. W3 soundtrack is superb, but Rdr2 is very fitting and I wouldn't have changed it. Overall W3 holds up impressively for being so old. Rdr2 immersion, graphics and player interaction is on level way beyond the entire industry's standard. I kindof doubt that the master storytelling W3 delivered will ever be replicated but we will see.
I think rdr2 is the better game. I like the story of rdr2 much better. I don't think anyone can really say "finding ciri" is a cooler story than the downfall of a gang. Otherwise they're just lying. The world is so much better with secrets and mystery that are still being discovered. I think as a character, Geralt is way too boring and has no personality. And rdr2 didn't have to resort to fan service littered with naked girls at every turn to be a success. And rdr2 is so much more immersive with much more things to do.

I have played RDR2 and TW3 (haven't played AC Valhalla) and I love both but if I had to chose, it would be RDR2. I just loved how it immersed me into the game, the story, world and game mechanics. I'd rather not choosing tho. Would've played both again but they are so long, not that it's a flaw. If I could just forget and play it again for the first time. 11/10
Tbh for the story I know nothing about Witcher 3 But that has come at the cost of me literally knowing nothing about the franchise besides what little I've played), but I've been spoiled about practically everything for RDR2. Love both games (I agree that I prefer RDR2 though)
I've played all 3. I'll say AC Valhalla is a bit misplaced in comparison to these games, but while RDR2 obviously wins in realism, I'd give TW3 the extra point for story. I've played that 3 times and it took me more than a year to complete RDR2 because I stopped playing midway through - suffice to say I'm not much of a fan of the story.
i've also tried both but i just couldn't immerse myself enough into rdr2 because of the lack of choice the player has. Instead of feeling like a badass gunslinger i only was looking at a badass gunslinger. Still it was pretty fun.
The bow in Witcher 3 was a total letdown. My granny has more punch than that, and she's been dead for twenty years. The whole point of the crossbow easy to use and armor piercing I think. But in being P'd off about that. Witcher 3, is still a favorite game. And when I need her Gran is just a thought away . Cheers Bob.
RDR2 was fun and has godly Detail and craftsmanship, vahalla is alright, Witcher 3 still just has probably the best quest line and DLC’s in video game history.

Valhalla was a safe game imo, I think it benefitted heavily from the sandbox aspect of it, something that I did wish was in Witcher 3 when I went back to replay it. If Ubisoft can apply that and expand upon it in future AC games they have a winner on their hands imo.
@@borys0917 Naah man.. Most of the side quests in Witcher 3 are handcrafted and are supportive towards the main story in many cases. Coming to witcher contracts, there are independent witcher contracts, then there are contracts that actually lead to another side quest.I am on my second playthrough and there are so many things I am still discovering. Ac Valhalla is more towards the repetitive side. Correction. It's the definition of repetitiveness. The last 2 Ac games were too grindy and were filled with so many fetch quests. If you haven't tried the witcher 3 yet or if you felt it was too boring, I would recommend that u give it a go. It takes some time to get to the meat of the matter but it's worth it.
The thing is, all of these games dedicated a lot of time to developing their graphics, but rdr2 dedicated an insane amount of time to physics as well.

Also a thing to note is all 3 games came out years after each other with completely different production times. RDR2 was in production the same time witcher 3 started and came out 3 years later. ACValhalla had a years worth of production and came out in 2020. Terrible way to see which is the better game when its quite clear
@@lts_Hyde because R* has better engine. how long or fast the game progress I think is largely down to the plot and the quests. ubisoft's plot is mediocre rubbish, and the cheap quests are boring. that's why they make almost 100 games and not a single goty. while R* is different. In terms of physics, R* has a superior engine, euphoria ragdoll, they also use a lot of graphics engines in the rdr2 engine.

Playing Witcher 3 halfway and I actually think Witcher 1's story is better so far
RDR2 and Witcher 3 are in my opinion, from story perspective, the absolute peak of writing in whole of gaming. Both are my favorite games, yet I can't put one before the other, because each gave me something different. Both carry a strong message and the execution is perfect. Both games made me tear up and changed my views a little. Both are not just a game, but a lifetime experience.
I doubt I will ever play game that could even barely reach the level these two stand on
And Valhalla had absolutely nothing to offer story wise whatsoever.

The amount of detail that went into creating Red Dead 2 is just insane. I do have to say kudos to the Witcher 3 because that's not a new game by any stretch and it still plays great.
Most games from 2009 onward hold up just fine till this day. That's when the modern AAA was established and little has changed since then.

Overall the graphics looks great, but you are right, who the hell cares that the horse balls are shrinking when its could outside... For me the western setting wasn't my favourite, I didn't find the story good, the gameplay was literally horrible, I couldn't enjoy it. I don't have any problem with those people who like the game, but if Cyberpunk 2077 got a hate outrage then RDR2 got a unnecesary hype outrage...

The Witcher is a very special and interesting game with awesome lore. Red dead redemption has amazing phisics. If we combine this two we have pure perfection.
My thoughts exactly. Rdr2 has some amazing features and is no doubt a great game but the core shooting mechanic is so bad that it is damn near impossible to be effective without slow motion, dead eye should have been a special move, not essential. It is a shame how bad the shooting is because outside combat and the horse riding simulator it is an amazing game that otherwise would have been a 10/10 imo

@@AFT_05G It was good enough for other games to try and replicate but all the perks, potions and magic had limitations set by the narrative. The intensity of the dual system in ghost of tsushima, blocking system of for honor and trapping system of Horizon would have been great additions but the combat system in witcher is not dependent upon something equal to a cheat move to work. The closest to dead eye as far as gameplay goes in a sword game is in rising revengence but in that game the slow mo was a special move that was not required at all to make the combat work.

Hunting is also fun and realistic.
Last but not the least the horse is realistically detailed, you can see him poop lol and he will stay away from water , be too harsh on him and he will kick you to death.
You even feel bad if the horse is injured 😂
Even the environment itself has mysteries in it or some random encounters.
And yeah also the storyline Is great and kinda emotional 😭

Witcher 3 was released in 2015 and still ranked the best game in the history in some gaming websites. In my opinion it is the best RPG game ever, there's nothing in this game you can criticize negatively. The gameplay, the graphics, the environment, the soundtrack, the side quests which are better than some other RPG's main quests, the dlcs, the mods(there is litteraly nothing to complain about, and it's coming from a gamer who complains about games details a lot). You play it as a 3rd game of the serie but feels like you can understand everything in the world without the need to go back to the 2 previous games. Anyone who complains about such a game haven't experienced the true meaning of the game, or a RPG game. I spent 100 hours only on the main game, there are 2 dlcs left which are said to be even better than the original game.
And to be honest, I never thought about buying a RPG game,(only pirating them) because it costs a little much to me even with the discounts. I only bought ARMA 3 and GTA 5 in my entire 10 years gaming. But this is the first and maybe the last RPG game I will ever buy. The reason I bought this game is as a thanks to the team for making such a game, they deserve it and for the next-gen graphics.

@@nightdriver7216 yeah i think the same too. The combat is overrated. It is one thing that i want to criticize of the game, despite how I put it as the best game I ever played. They give us many combat options, but other than swords, fast attack especially, nothing is efficient enough. Crossbow build doesnt work, bomb build doesnt work, and even sign build is just somehow works. But with the sword build, especially euphoria, it is just too overpowered. I even complete a 85 level difficulty while still in 58, though one hit would kill me, but overtime i killed the spider boss too. Not to mention it is in death march difficulty. With other build? Nah even killing the same level would be hard.

Let's be honest, The Witcher 3 is the oldest one so it's obvious that it's has less elements of physics (W3 2015 vs RDR2 2018 vs ACV 2020).
And BTW authors of RDR2, Valhalla, even Ghost of Tsushima, said many times that they followed the example of The Witcher series (how to build interesting world). About the rest, they added their own mechanics, improved other things and we've got what we have. That's why The Witcher 3 continues to amaze me, because it was a precursor and still is beautiful (not to mention what is with mods). Of course all these games are very good.

Don’t forget that The Witcher 3 is just that; the third game in the series. Each one built off the previous game and made huge leaps and improvements. I can imagine if CDPR had focused on making a 4th Witcher game instead of Cyberpunk 2077, it naturally would’ve been on the same level details-wise as RDR2. Or at least very close to it.

RDR2 offers you a few mediocre missable sidequests where you go fishing or hunting for the most part (helping Mary was a good side quest though) or a ton of stupid filler 'challenges' that challenge more your time than skill whereas Witcher 3 has so many good side quests (a thing that has been carried over to CP77 as well). I honestly have never gotten bored of Witcher 3, a thing that I can't really say about RDR2, sadly.

I mean that isn't really fair to the Witcher, you used the least important weapon to showcase pretty much everything. I understand that the bow is the common denominator between these games but it holds such little importance in the Witcher. It is pretty much just used for underwater combat and for interrupting enemies. Cast Aard to demonstrate the water physics, throw a bomb, do something else. It doesn't have to be a 1-1 comparison, showcase each concept the way it is represented best within each game.

Damn. This is the second time I see someone coping real hard in the comments. First one was in TLOU2 vs RDR2 and now here. First of all the graphics in Witcher 3 were downgraded and they dont look as amazingly as they used to. The details such as water physics when Aard is being cast have been downgraded too.
Second of all, you said that the crossbow in Witcher 3 is the least important weapon therefore he shouldnt use it and yet one can argue that in RDR2 the bow is also the least important weapon. Thats the hardest "NOOOOO YOU CANT SHOWCASE WHATS BAD IN THE GAME" cope I have ever seen today. Casting Aard and throwing bombs would not have the same effect as shooting an arrow into the water. Long story short: CDPR messed up when they didnt include details like this, even for the "least important weapon in the game".

Thats on CDPR dude, if they didnt include this kind of detail in the game then you cant really expect the creator of this video to be like " damn they didnt have this kind of detail BUT how about I show this other thing". You cant really replace the scenario in one game and call it a day.
But for the sake of this argument, and as I have also played all 3 games, lets say we will compare the signs in Witcher 3, dynamite in RDR2 and explosions in Assassins Creed Valhalla. You can look up how Aard affects water: To this day everyone on YT complains how it is downgraded and pretty much does nothing to the water. Igni also doesnt look amazing, it is average at best. The game showcases very mediocre and lackluster effects. In RDR2 the water behaves pretty amazingly, you can shoot into the water but you can also throw a dynamite in the water which causes a huge explosion. There are multiple videos showing this. Now lets take AC: Valhalla: The explosions in this game are very weak, the details are super 2D and weird looking. The game has horrible effects.
Overall: RDR2 wins, second is Witcher 3 and AC:Valhalla loses.
Now for the continuation of our original argument: You are coping way too hard and sooner you realise that CDPR doesnt care about you and Witcher 3s only good side is the side content and characters then you will realise just how wrong you were for trying to "make justice for Witcher 3". You can literally try to showcase anything from Witcher 3 and it will be either completely bad or awfully mediocre when it comes to gameplay.

To even put AC Valhalla in the same breath as the other two masterpieces is disrespectful.
This is crazy. CD Project Red was a Indie Developer until Witcher 3 released and made them as much money as it did. Witcher 3’s budget was a fraction of the cost of both of these games and also made in 2015.
If we go off gameplay, story, replay ability, your bond to the characters, etc. it’s Easily,
Witcher 3 > RDR2 > Valhalla.
RDR2 is however the best open world game to release since Witcher 3. Valhalla honestly shouldn’t be compared to these 2 masterpieces.

Valhalla wins in the looks department but red dead wins in terms of how good every thing looks in correlation to how the character and npcs react to the beautiful environment around them. Red Dead all the way.
Graphics and physics will be forgotten;
story, lore, gameplay, characters, atmosphere, soundtrack, protagonist and the SOUL will remain.
Thats why The Witcher 3 is still the best among these.
EDIT: I know Arthur Morgan is a very good protagonist too, but I just prefer Geralt of Rivia.

The fact that W3 came out in 2015, and holds its own with these two newer games, and that people are still finding new bits of info and game play speaks worlds, plus it's moral delimmas were and still are arguably the best in gaming to date.
And if we are honest, without W3, we wouldn't have as polished and complex versions of RDR2 and ACV. They took everything the W3 gave us and refined it.
All 3 are amazing, but it's hard to overlook the amount of influence W3 holds over open world games and their physics since it's release.
And while it's nothing with the "prettiness" of the game, the choices in W3 are what makes the game so damn good to me.

The detail comparison videos always feel like they're here to show you why your favorite game is not as good as Rockstar games.
I mean good physics and details aren’t what make a game the best. Sure them being there helps but if red dead redemption 2 didn’t have a good story, good world design, and fun customization and still retained these details no one would be playing it. For example Valhalla has better details than Witcher 3 but I don’t think many people would say that Valhalla is better.

Games aren't physics simulations. Games are about immersive worlds, good stories and gameplay. Despite their age, Dragon Age Origins and Fallout new Vegas are still to this day some of the best games made.
@@slxdge0276 Yep, in some aspects Rockstar are completely in their own level. Physics, graphics, world and character detail have no comparison. In some other aspects they are even below average. I guess it depends on how much you value each aspect, imo Rockstar games are overrated, I don't enjoy their gameplay that much and their writing style is not for me.

Para mí de lejos el juego más perfecto a nivel técnico que eh tenido la oportunidad de jugar.
El único que para mí se le acerca es TLOU part II, con la diferencia de que Rockstar dió un paso más largo al conseguir ese nivel en un juego de mundo abierto, eso ya es llegar a niveles estratosfericos, simplemente maravilloso.

Witcher 3 might not have the fancy animations, snow physics, etc. but the amount of high quality side quests and different choices you can do in them, make it a winner for me even though I love RDR2 (haven't played Valhalla yet tho)

RDR2 might have a ridiculous amount of detail, but it often is an extremely tedious, slow and boring game to play, including obnoxiously bad menus and controls.

Rdr2 is amazing but Witcher 3 is pure genius. The story the characters the interactions the music how you hunt and research all the different monsters the difficulty unless you play on noob which is disrespectful. How Geralt is a pimp. The different schools of witchers. The 2 swords! One for humans and one for monsters the magic the potions the strategy. The different bad ass armor. Side missions and Witcher contracts the millions of hours of gameplay. Top 3 games ever and it’s not even close. Why do you think they made a live action show that’s how good it is. Like I said rdr2 is off the chains but there’s nothing like the the Witcher 3. Game is legit a masterpiece.

Not very fair comparison. Witcher 3 is much older game made by smaller studio at the time. Rockstar is a multibillion dollar company. But despite that, Witcher 3 still holds up really well today in terms of gameplay, design, and writing. I'd argue that no game has surpassed Witcher 3 as an overall experience. You either tried and love Witcher 3 or never played it. Can't say the same for the other 2.

Witcher 3 was a game from 2015. when the the release of the ps4 console itself was still fresh and most PC owners considered the game a bit demanding to run. that was 3 years before RDR2's release. the thing is, Witcher 3 redefined open world rpg's, gave inspiration to the current AC format and probably a bit of inspiration for RDR2 development. each and every side quest were fun and engaging in the witcher 3. 7 years later and it is still hard to beat. so yea outdated physics whatever.

@@aryangautam8411 The witcher 3 is also a very detailed game. You could put just as much time in TW3 as people put in GTA V... I know that in GTA V you can follow NPCs and see a lot of things they do, but you can do it in the TW3 too. There are many secret quests, secret outcomes, secret dialoges, easter eggs and so on... And also the fact how well CDPR adapted and built their whole witcher franchise from Andrzej Sapkowski's books is simply amaizing, they made most of the caracters, places, monsters look and be exactly like they are described in the books, so I would say the witcher 3 is also very detailed and you can easily put more than a 1000 hours in it if you use mods and NG plus

All on all, compared to the other two, its trash. Extremely forgetable and booring characters. Story? Go there help out and earn that regions favour. Gg
Rdr 2 - Like a movie. Gameplay, polish, engine, all soo incredible. Some times i start it just to walk and do no quests. Story is decent but gets quite repetitive. We need money, we do some quests till we get to that chapters "one last job", it goes bad and we relocate. Rince and repeat.
Witcher 3
A game which ruined other games for me. If you play some of it's soundtracks for me, it will force me to start a new playthrough. Soo many memorable characteeeersss. Geralt Yen Triss Ciri Dikstra Philipa Eilhart Avallach Vesimir Eskel Lambert Gaunter Hjalmar Ceris Keira metz Reigis Zoltan Roche etc.. Suchh a good story. Only game I didn't play to see what happens in the end but what happens next.

I've only played rdr2 and valhalla, and for me rdr2 is the best game I've ever played, but I bought the witcher 3 now and it's installing it, let's see if it will change my mind
I just got Witcher 3 too. And btw rdr2 is so not tinge and repeat. I could and have played the story multiple times. It’s so well done. Sometimes u r robbing a bank l, yes. But that could be in a big city to a smaller town. And therefore different. The fact that ur gang is always moving mean that u are never in the same part of the map for long. And u do different things from robbing houses to banks. To shooting bears and bison or tracking down a crocodile or going to Tahiti or becoming a deputy or making war between two different houses is absurd. And the side quests are insane a the most varied of any game I’ve played, they range from helping someone who’s been kidnapped under a gunsmiths shops to being robbed yourself. Or helping someone get somewhere. Or getting the legendary animals. I mean the variation of map is like the witchers meaning it’s huge and different already. So I don’t know what u mean when u say that. Rdr2 is NOT rincevand repeat
Oh that’s not even talking about when u become John. Which another fresh start. Which has farming in it. And u stop running and u start hunting down Dutch and Micah. And to keep it from being samey is shorter. And after that more side quests. The only part where I agree with u is that the farming side is pretty dull and repeated. But slows up the intense gameplay. But ye the Witcher is rlly good I agree with u there.

You establish a camp, find some local characters, interact with them in various of missions, plan some big score, the score fails and you relocate. That happens 5 times in total.
But I never said that it was bad. No no, red dead 2 is the first game I enjoyed for most of it's playthrough and actualy finished after witcher 3.
Witcher 3 kinda ruined games for me. So to actualy finish a game is a big deal. And I did finish rdr 2. Enjoyed it actualy.

I didn't think rdr2 it's repetitive...Every mission is unique, and there are mechanics made for a mission only, in the story you do a lot of unique and diferent things, and the camping around stuff is to show how Dutch is going insane and denying their failure by repeating the same actions for money
Besides obviously rdr 2 winning, it's one of the only games ever made that makes you really like the characters, and the story is amazing, in short: it's the best game ever, simple as that.

AC Valhalla looks lika anty-NVIDIA provocation. New big game without Ray Tracing, without DLSS, dramatic drop FPS with NVIDIA cards.
Rdr2 is a more intractable and graphicly impressive than W3. But it does not stand up story wise. In regards to side missions, lore and endings the W3 is a absolute masterpiece and I doubt it will ever be beaten. W3 soundtrack is superb, but Rdr2 is very fitting and I wouldn't have changed it. Overall W3 holds up impressively for being so old. Rdr2 immersion, graphics and player interaction is on level way beyond the entire industry's standard. I kindof doubt that the master storytelling W3 delivered will ever be replicated but we will see.
even cdpr failed to do it with cyberpunk, I am afraid witcher 4 might turn out to be dud.... witcher 3 was something once in a life time experience

I think rdr2 is the better game. I like the story of rdr2 much better. I don't think anyone can really say "finding ciri" is a cooler story than the downfall of a gang. Otherwise they're just lying. The world is so much better with secrets and mystery that are still being discovered. I think as a character, Geralt is way too boring and has no personality. And rdr2 didn't have to resort to fan service littered with naked girls at every turn to be a success. And rdr2 is so much more immersive with much more things to do.
@@djlu3011 In my opinion it depends on individual that which story he likes better. There no universal claim that one's story better than other's. I love both games and both are very different but great stories. I enjoyed both and love them both equally.
@@OkaySachin that's the politically correct answer. The honest answer is rdr2 had a better story. We can always say it's up to the individual. But let's be honest, of anyone is saying that the newer star wars are better than the old ones, sure it's up to that individual...but we know better.
Bow and arrow ain't even the main weapon in RDR, and yet it manages to feel much better than so many games, including HZD

Пробовал ведьмака на пс5 60дюймов Моник 4к, такая шляпа в плане графики, посмотрел бы я на его фанатов😂, особенно если запустить потом Вальгалу или рдр2, я понимаю что игра стара сама по себе, а потому для сравнения не годится впринципе, разве что на маленьком мониторчике , где пиксели сжаты, но в этом нет смысла.
I have played RDR2 and TW3 (haven't played AC Valhalla) and I love both but if I had to chose, it would be RDR2. I just loved how it immersed me into the game, the story, world and game mechanics. I'd rather not choosing tho. Would've played both again but they are so long, not that it's a flaw. If I could just forget and play it again for the first time. 11/10
Tbh for the story I know nothing about Witcher 3 But that has come at the cost of me literally knowing nothing about the franchise besides what little I've played), but I've been spoiled about practically everything for RDR2. Love both games (I agree that I prefer RDR2 though)
I've played all 3. I'll say AC Valhalla is a bit misplaced in comparison to these games, but while RDR2 obviously wins in realism, I'd give TW3 the extra point for story. I've played that 3 times and it took me more than a year to complete RDR2 because I stopped playing midway through - suffice to say I'm not much of a fan of the story.
i've also tried both but i just couldn't immerse myself enough into rdr2 because of the lack of choice the player has. Instead of feeling like a badass gunslinger i only was looking at a badass gunslinger. Still it was pretty fun.

You can aim down the sights on Witcher 3. If you hip fire like that you won't actually see the arrows being driven into your target.
The bow in Witcher 3 was a total letdown. My granny has more punch than that, and she's been dead for twenty years. The whole point of the crossbow easy to use and armor piercing I think. But in being P'd off about that. Witcher 3, is still a favorite game. And when I need her Gran is just a thought away .

RDR2 was fun and has godly Detail and craftsmanship, vahalla is alright, Witcher 3 still just has probably the best quest line and DLC’s in video game history.
I wish I could argue to you about rdr2 Dlcs but unfortunately they don't exist.

Valhalla was a safe game imo, I think it benefitted heavily from the sandbox aspect of it, something that I did wish was in Witcher 3 when I went back to replay it.
If Ubisoft can apply that and expand upon it in future AC games they have a winner on their hands imo.

@@borys0917 Naah man.. Most of the side quests in Witcher 3 are handcrafted and are supportive towards the main story in many cases. Coming to witcher contracts, there are independent witcher contracts, then there are contracts that actually lead to another side quest.I am on my second playthrough and there are so many things I am still discovering. Ac Valhalla is more towards the repetitive side. Correction. It's the definition of repetitiveness. The last 2 Ac games were too grindy and were filled with so many fetch quests. If you haven't tried the witcher 3 yet or if you felt it was too boring, I would recommend that u give it a go. It takes some time to get to the meat of the matter but it's worth it.
