  • A mushroom recipe that is so quick and easy to make, this chili mushrooms in wine sauce is so delicious a must try side dish.
    300G BIG BUTTON MUSHROOMS CUT IN QUARTERS
    200G WATER
    1 CLOVE GARLIC
    1 SMALL FRESH CHILI CUT INTO TINY PIECES
    30G DRY WHITE WINE
    1/2 TSP SALT
    2 TBSP OLIVE OIL
    2 TSP BUTTER
    2 TBSP SPRING ONION CUT INTO 1 1/2 CM LONG PIECES
    3/4 TSP CORN STARCH
    3 TBSP WATER
    -CHOP THE MUSHROOMS IN QUARTERS IF YOU FIND SMALL MUSHROOMS THERE IS NO NEED TO CUT THEM.
    -CUT 1 CHILI INTO TINY PIECES, IF YOU LIKE TOO MUCH HEAT USE 3 CHILIES.
    -FINELY CHOP THE CLOVE OF GARLIC AND THEN CHOP THE SPRING ONION INTO 1 1/ 2 CM LONG PIECES.
    -HEAT 2 TBSP OF OLIVE OIL ON MEDIUM, ADD THE MUSHROOMS FRY FOR 3 MINUTES AND THEN ADD SALT, MIX WELL AND CONTINUE COOKING FOR ANOTHER 1 MINUTE, REMOVE THE MUSHROOMS FROM THE PAN.
    -IN THE SAME PAN ADD BUTTER LET IT MELT AND THEN ADD 3 TBSP OF WATER LET IT COOK FOR 30 SECONDS, ADD THE CHILI AND GARLIC STIR AND COOK FOR 3 MINUTES, ONCE THE WATER HAS DRIED UP ADD THE WINE, MIX AND ALLOW THE ALCOHOL TO EVAPORATE FOR 2 MINUTES, MIX THE CORN STARCH WITH 200G OF WATER MIX WELL AND SET ASIDE.
    -ADD THE MUSHROOMS MIX WELL AND COOK FOR 1 MINUTE, ADD THE CORN STARCH MIXTURE, COOK FOR 1 MINUTE AND THEN ADD THE SPRING ONION COOK FOR 1 MINUTE.
    -SERVE AS A SIDE DISH ENJOY.
