I have been wanting to try sausage in mine instead of ground pork. Is that sausage hot or mild? Or does it matter? I am looking forward to trying this recipe. Just curious, would this kind of sausage mixed with hamburger be good with meatloaf?
Good. But what I do is add a half a bottle of Pace picante sauce...green top, the "mild" kind, not, chunky, to a half jar of spaghetti sauce. To me, Pace picante with yellow or red tops a little too hot.
Rao is the highest rated sauce. I do use a pinch or two of sugar as well. I prefer a thinner sauce. Too much stuff in it. Although I do like your recipe.needs basil not oregano. Italians don’t use it much. 👍🙏🏻
