Still carnt get the smile off my face 🙂 Rob and the team where awsome to deal with, the car is performing excellently, strongly recommend this upgrade if you have a PX 3.2 Uppa.
Awesome work guys , just a quick question and not sure if you would know the answer. Im from South africa, i have a px2 3.2 auto and i have done all the mods, stage 3 turbo, intercooler upgrades and everything to support the setup. Im very happy with my dyno results, im running 33" tyres, my current dyno run sits at 200kw and 799nm at the fly. My question is: how much torque can the torque converter and gearbox handle, i understand im pushing limits, but i cant get answers to, i know its the same gearbox as the mustang, but i need to know what the torque converter is capaboe of. I would greatly appreciate some insight. Thanks in advance
The Ranger 6 speed ZF can be modified to take big power, according to some American sources 1000 hp, but in the PX Rangers the torque converter is marginal at best and a replacement such as Melbourne's Wholesale Automatics upgraded unit designed for the ZF 6 speed is much stronger. I've only connection to Wholesale Autos however have modified my auto with their products successfully. Early Rangers had the torque converter seperating at the bolts attached to the flexplate apparently in some cases, attachment was very poor at stud welds I believe.
To get this type of power/torque gain, yes you do. But just with a custom dyno tune by us alone with no other engine mods we usually see 3.2L Rangers make 30%-35% more power & torque. No need for a snorkel - they don't aid in increases in power/torque by themselves.

I have seen anymore than 175kw at the rear wheel you start destroying drive line and all components inc converter.

would like to know how much HP the stock 3.2 a/t trans can handle.
We have the 3.2s on 50-60% more power/torque and the autos are fine.
Can you supply the parts with instructions to install it? Also offer International shipping.
Where can I buy that bumper
Hi just wondering if any 0-100 times have been recorded before and after tune plus turbo? thanks
do I need to get the turbo to get the tune and get a bit more power probably needs a snorkel ( I have a 2019 3.2 lt turbo Ranger)
