So if anyone wonders why this happened here's a quick explenation: Hypixel is not a single server, it's multiple servers networked togheter, so everytime you see a loading screen you are actually switching servers. So every bedwars game is hosted on a different server after every game the server shuts down and the server gets it's map reset to one of the bedwars maps. The probable reason that this game had a vanilla map is that when the map got reset ot somehow got corrupted and when a server has it's map corrupter beyond a certain point it regenerates the whole map.
I think what hypixel does for mini-games like bedwars, uhc, etc, is have it use instances instead of servers so they can have tons of "servers" that people can play on and it not be full. (I don't know if that's how Hypixel does it or not but the fact that Hypixel has so many players and there is almost if not ever a full game it is the only thing that makes sense for that)

In bedwars the void death isn't an actual void death, it's just when you reach a certain y coord then the game says you died to the void. The person found a cave and went too low that the game detected it as a void death.

So here’s my idea: -Normal survival world -Team leaders -10 teams -Spawns far away from each other (500-ish blocks so you can gain materials) -No shops, you craft stuff -Obsidian, Endstone and materials like that are gained once you have iron pickaxe -Armor stays and looks the same -Upgrades (enchants) once the team leader obtains; .Iron boots for prot 1(etc) .Iron sword for sharp 1 (etc) .Iron golem at 10 iron (etc) ETC That would be such a cool mode.

Wait that’d be so cool, the teams are spread around the map and it’s like a manhunt. Imagine just being on edge all the time cause a stranger might attack you while your *crafting* something.
So here’s my idea:
-Normal survival world
-Team leaders
-10 teams
-Spawns far away from each other (500-ish blocks so you can gain materials)
-No shops, you craft stuff
-Obsidian, Endstone and materials like that are gained once you have iron pickaxe
-Armor stays and looks the same
-Upgrades (enchants) once the team leader obtains;
.Iron boots for prot 1(etc)
.Iron sword for sharp 1 (etc)
.Iron golem at 10 iron (etc)
ETC
That would be such a cool mode.

This was the first Technoblade video I saw I remember watching it. It was a cold January night and I was sleeping I woke up to this video starting. After that I was hooked. I remember the first SMP Earth video. I remember the first Minecraft Monday stream. I remember the first MCC. I have seen it all I watched him go from 300K to 11 million subscribers. And I’m glad I was apart of his fan base while it lasted. And now techno is gone. Thank you for everything Technoblade.

Beds allow generators but when broken generators stop working
Item shops still exist but price is increased.

Then, getting your bed broken would be an instaGG, doesn't really make sense
it’s like a normal map (smaller like 100x100) except there’s actual resources you can mine, you have a compass leading to your bed, shop armors are disabled / even more expensive. bottom of bed is surrounded by bedrock so nobody can break it underneath
