My next RC boat will be a Zelos twin 36.... find a used hull and give it a carbon fiber inlay, then rebuilt.... I enjoy your videos.

Oh yea. I haven't run a twin in years. I built a twin 3660 pranther mono nitro converted brushless years ago before I started youtube, that boat screamed. A guy bought it from me on the spot while I was running it at the park lol. I miss that boat. Good luck brother

Good job and nice video. The next speed increase will be polishing the front to a mirror finish to gain about a .5 speed increase. In addition polishing the back is debatable between acceleration and unloading and top speed and a gain of .1 as a slippery prop is a fast prop I always say.
Next boat? I would say anything JEA. Fun to build, dirt cheap and insanely faster than any boat on water. You can't beat the speed of a rigger. For that pond a JAE Mini Sprint would be a blast.

Never run that hull before. I'd start with an ABC 1616 17•45 or 1717 17•45

I've got a Husqvarna weed Wacker motor that would be perfect for a rc boat, That's some thing I've been wanting to do for a while now.

what your doing there is not what is called cupping, what your doing is putting a SKI ROLL on the prop. this is purely for pull away and will cause a loss in top speed as you are decreasing pitch by doing this....... when people say add cup they either mean to the tips to keep grip in turns or the usual cupping is done on the trailing edge to give more pitch.

Thanks. I've been looking into the voodoo cupping anvil. I've read several articles about cupping, since this video I've realized that I wasn't doing it the correct way. I appreciate you pointing it out. I actually gained 1 mph "rolling" the blade, then I "rolled" it a bit more and lost 5 mph. Ended up ditching the whole process.
