My favorite player of all time. A perfect combination of athleticism, strength, speed and versatility all while remaining humble and staying out of trouble. People forget how good this man truly was.

Sadly it was ruined, by the coaching staff, who decided to throw the ball. Instead of using L.T against the Patriots
That was one of the greatest seasons in NFL history. He’s underrated.

Legend has it Rivers was so used to handing off to LT that when his child was born that year he gave the baby right to LT out of habit
And LT would have run for a 20 yard gain.
This makes me so nostalgic for a team that sadly no longer remains in a city that TRULY loved them and wasnt just using them for a cash cow. In other words, San Diegans, yall are some of the best and most loyal sports fans in America..... You guys deserve so much more

@@senormejia9832 As a Ravens fan, I gained a major appreciation for him his last season. McGahee, McClain and Rice combined for over 2000 yards and Neal was the sledgehammer that paved the way for them.

I swear it felt like he broke the first tackle every time he touched the ball this season I was amazed as a young kid and still amazed till this day LT is a legend 🔥🔥🔥💯
I feel like that was the case his whole career up until the end. As a Charger fan I grew up on LT so I got use to him making the first guy every time and not going down 1 on 1 in the open field. Sadly, ever since LT that’s been far from the norm. Just shows how great he was

And sadly they lost a game, they should have won, easily , against the evil New England Patriots
LT is my favorite running back of all time. He was a great player on and off the field; he carried himself with so much class and broke records on the field; it’s a shame my chargers never won a Superbowl during the 2000s; we should've won it all in 2006 and 2009. I hope we get another running back like LT Bolt Gang For Life ⚡⚡⚡⚡

I remembered watching this season like it was yesterday, he was my favorite player in the NFL and to watch. And this coming from a die hard Falcons fan. Legendary season

Being from SD, I was fortunate when my San Diego Chargers drafted him when I was 19. I was blessed to watch him live for several seasons, including 2006.
That was the only year I refused to sell my Raiders game tickets.
LT had no holes in his game, and his skills were well above average in every category: Speed, Quickness, Blocking, Catching, Vision, Strength, Stiff Arm, Cutting Ability, Power, Nose for the End Zone, etc.
If the Bolts were within the 5, everyone knew LT was getting it, and no one was going to stop him.
Him burner turner and sproles I miss that team and I'm a Packers fan I watch that 2006 season yearbook on the chargers channel all the friggen time

ONE OF THE GREATEST RBS OF ALL TIME.
This season was truly the dark navy blue uniforms, LT’s records, Phillip Rivers’ first year as a starter, and playing in San Diego; this should've been the year the Chargers won the super bowl; we had 11 pro bowlers

as a fan of the game i know we all have a list of players we wanted to see win a superbowl. i truly believe that LT is on ALL of our list!
Imagine how many yards he would have running in the Shannon outside zone running scheme where those cut back lanes were huge.
His o line was a force to be reckoned with that year. No doubt about it. And LT was spectacular

Not taking anything away from LT cuz he was a true legend, but Neal was a damn road grader. That man gave LT some juicy holes to run through.

Most highlights I can only watch once or not even at all. But LT, I can watch him 24/7 since 2006. Probably watched his highlights 10 times by now. He's amazing and my favorite player of all time! When I saw him in person, I was so shy and nervous but gosh LT is one of a kind. No rb can make his greatness. 🎉❤ represent SD too!

LT played in 170 games and was responsible for 169 touchdowns.
He was special.
Just crazy that he scored 31 touchdowns but was shut out the last two games. Could have been an even bigger record

Does anyone happen to know any NFL games back in the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s where a receiver is putting their hands up late to delay the CB while the ball is in the air, but still catching the ball?
There will never, ever be another LT. No back in the game right now has the cutting ability this man had. Thanks for the awesome memories LT.
I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan, but...I'm also a huge LT fan. I saw him play in person at TCU and I knew he would be special. Outside of Barry sanders, my all-time favorite RB. Class guy too.

Man I’m a die hard colts fan.. but I was on the chargers in junior football back in 2005-7 and started to force my dad to watch the chargers games along with the colts on sundays and LT instantly became my favorite player of all time
You got LT( Lawrence Taylor) and you got this LT(LaDaimian Tomlinson) wish he had rings like Law Tay if the Chargers didn't fire their coach after his MVP season

No runner in history, could go downhill as hard and hit the second level and become elusive enough to shake a safety or run by/strait though him, while having the best hands for a RB in the league. The definition of BALLER is LT.

every video says 31 TD. While this is partially correct with 28 rush and 3 receiving TD's, it is not complete. LT threw 2 touchdowns that year as well, bringing his total to 33. He also broke the point record. The next 9 people on that list are kickers.
Tomlinson had probably one of the best run blocking o line and lorenzo neal. Tomlinson wasnt the fastest or strongest rb but he knew how to hit holes and he also had a great stiff arm. He is probably one of the top 10 overall rbs of all time he just did everything right. Some critics might say he aint special but his accomplishments say otherwise he probably has the best vision that i have ever seen always hitting the right holes.

06’ Ladanian Tomlinson the greatest running back of All-time. I’m not saying he’s had the greatest career, but I think he had the greatest single season performance for a running back ever.
