Reggie White was the man amongst men. He was on a level above the other greats. You knew it when you saw him. He truly looked like if you put an All Madden player on the field with the other great players.

imho he was the second best defensive player. i still think LT was a lil bit better due to his versatility and his inhuman forms of tackling an o-lineman just to crush the RB too in just a few seconds. but its hard to decide, maybe they are on the same skillcap with just different styles. white was a brute force, but LT changed the whole game coordination.

A GOAT, unstoppable, one of the greatest defensive ends ever. He could not be blocked. His number should be retired.

The Eagles should never have let him go,but he was tired of not wi ni g a superbowl until he played fir greenbay. That Philly defense was sick. If it wasn't for Reggie White Greenbay would never win that superbowl. He almost had 200 career sacks. He never use drugs, no off the field problems, an ordained minister.

How would you have liked to have been an AFC quarterback in the late 1980s playing in the Pro Bowl and facing an NFC defense that included Reggie White, Lawrence Taylor, and Ronnie Lot ?

Reggie White and LT were so much better than you think. LT publicly nominated Reggie as the #1 defensive player all-time. Should sum it all up.

He played defensive end with his hand in the ground which is more difficult to do than what we see today with all these stand up pass rushers that play out of a 34 style of defense. You can commonly find players that can do the things that Von Miller and Tj Watt do. But players like Reggie White can not be replaced!

Reggie was great, but he always had guys around him that helped. The Eagles Jerome Brown,Seth Joyner, and more. The Packers had Sean Jones,Leeoy Butler, and Santana Dotson. Granted he did make the guys around him better.
