    I was fascinated by this demonstration. Not only for baking a mix very similar to what I use myself, but also for contrasting the two pans next to each other. They are very different pans. But the results came out very close. The Pumpkin Bread I get from the same brand I do so very differently I almost feel I shouldn’t comment. But perhaps others could be able to draw their own reference from the contrast. For one, my baking dish is round and glass. So it takes a lot more to bring it to temp than either of your two pans would. Two, I combo bake between the microwave and the Foodi because I was having these things rise up too much in the center. Then the center wasn’t fully cooking being so center thick. Third, I divide the mix into thirds and don’t bake the whole thing at once. So I end up proofing for three minutes in the microwave on power 3. Then I go for 20 minutes at 315 F to 325 F. But the thought of dropping to 300 F for longer is high on my list after seeing this. I did like the look of the results you got.

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  4 года назад +1

      Thanks...That could definitely help anyone considering this...the fact the glass takes longer is a really good tip...thanks again and thanks for watching!

    Been watching your videos for a couple days since I ordered my Instant pot duo crisp. I came to find out there are practically no recipes for this appliance like you would find for the others! I Pinterest most recipes because that's easy and I've found almost nothing and had to go to other recipes, until I found your channel and your videos are very easy to understand, new and fantastic recipes and actually have a great range of appliances with recipes and reviews without saying you hate the appliance before you take it out of the box! I'd kill to see your recipes on Pinterest for easy access also!

    Appear in the north we love pumpkin bread banana bread all of those quick breads with a schmear of cream cheese for breakfast Brown. My father was the only person I knew who used butter but he was from Scotland and they put butter on everything in the UK. The ninja Cooks basically like any other oven so if it's pulling away from the sides golden brown and a toothpick or knife comes so clean it's done. It does not need a temperature do you know at what low temperature the egg that you may add to the mix Cooks at? Very low! I use my homemade pumpkin bread and banana bread recipes this time of year but I just lost my home care again I didn't lose the home care I lost the people who were caring for me because they were driving me through the city while smoking what looked like a Cheech and Chong party joint! So I may have to use mixes if I've got to cook alone in the Ninja next week.

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  4 года назад

      Sorry to hear about you losing your care takers...but they would have eaten all your banana bread after a couple of those Cheech and Chongs anyway...lol...I hope all works out for you but this box mix was absolutely as good of banana bread as any I've ever had...you will never know it came from a box and you can buy it now and cook it months later...really, really impressive with excellent chewy crusty and soft excellent banana middle...Thank you for watching!

  • @elizabethshaw734
    @elizabethshaw734 4 года назад

    You do the same thing in the Ninja that you would do in your regular oven and if my breads are Browning too quickly in the oven I simply 10 it's a piece of foil over it. This is the same thing I do with pie crust edges. The closer I can get the ninja to working like my regular Robin the easier it is for me with crippled hands. The ninja foodi should not have to change the way you cook at least not everything. :-)
