I made the recipe with only minor changes which wouldn’t make much of a difference: I used jumbo eggs, because that’s what I have. I also don’t have applesauce, so I didn’t use that. I added about 1/3c chopped pecans, too. Other than those things, I stuck to the recipe. It turned out fabulous! I had some batter left over because I didn’t want to overfill the pan. I didn’t want to throw it away, so I put it into a small microwave safe container and microwaved it for 90 seconds. Voila! Mug cake! It’s awesome!
It’s a lot lower carb than if you used AP flour and regular sugar. And not enough maple syrup to say so. The fact that it’s gluten free is good, as well as lower carb. And super yummy.
You are as cute as a bug. Watching you make this banana bread bring smiles to my face. What an asset you are to the human being. Thank you for what you do Rosalie
2 days ago I got my Instant Pot Duo Crisp Air Fryer and I am very interested in using it heavily. I made a great Hungarian stew with it. My son and daughter-in-law have a very negative reaction to gluten. I baked already gluten free cakes in the oven but I am ready to use as much as possible my new toy. I appreciate your straight forward recipe. I loved the fact that you use a PTFE free baking pan. I don't know why Teflon is not banned by most governments and sold heavily all over the world, being incredibly toxic and a well documented carcinogen. I will bake 2 cakes as soon as possible. One for my sweet-tooth-husband and another for my son and daughter-in-law.
You made me hungry for Banana bread, I am buying the instant pot pro crisp & air fryer from Amazon so as soon as I recieve my instant pot I will make this recipe and enjoy it in the morning with my coffee. thank you Jeff.
This looks terrific. I’m allergic to wheat so I hope you do more recipes like this. Love your videos. I ordered your cookbook and I can’t wait till it arrives. Thank you so much.
Perfect texture!!!!!💕 BUT, I made one recipe for the instant pot and one (as muffins) in the oven on 160 degrees for around 35 mins. Texture was perfect! The instant pot version rose, I released a little pressure by mistake, left it in for 10 mins as you said. It rose, but was still uncooked when I took it out so put it in the oven. I have faith that it will work out great. And yes, I just wanna eat it all, yum!😋. Thanks 🙏
Reading comments to see if anyone has tried this recipe in the oven because the #BundtCakePan they have is too big for the #InstantPot 👋🏻✌🏻 Guessing we will be the first to comment on that #RecipeHack soon 🤷🏻♀️ THANK YOU for the #GlutenFreeRecipe ✅
Jeffrey! Love the last few recipes! Especially the Jalapeño Chicken! I also don't do gluten & try to avoid carbs / processed sugar. So your easy Keto recipes are my favorite! Keep up the great work Jeff!
I tried the recipe with all the right ingredients. It seemed like it wasn’t cooked all the way. I tried again and added five more minutes to instant pot and it still seemed under cooked. Very moist, tastes great, guess I need to get used to the texture. I also bought your cook book. Great videos!
Two things, bubeleh: 1) You should look for oil spray without propellant for nonstick surfaces. Propellants break down the coatings over time. 2) While erythritol (a sugar alcohol) is supposed to have fewer, shall we say, "unfortunate digestive side effects" than some of the other sugar alcohols (like xylitol and mannitol), for some people it can still have these effects. I have used the Lakanto in recipes without issues. But trust me when I say that these effects, if you do have them, are VERY unfortunate. So make this at home and be sure the erythritol works for you before going out someplace. And don't wear white pants, just in case. Also....if you are, or have friends who are "super-tasters", they may perceive this sweetener as having a bit of "heat" to it, or as one friend of mine who IS one describes it, "zingy." I can't tell the difference, but some can.
Love this recipe but I find it easier to do it in my airfryer - takes a bit less time and comes out every bit as good (cakes in the air fryer are fantastic!). Plus I can use a small/medium loaf tin and not a bunt pan which I don't like as you can't really get an even slice to fit in the toaster (here in Australia we like our banana bread toasted!). I also add about 80gm of chopped walnuts into the mix for that element of crunch, though pecans work just as well.
Do you have any nutritional on this? Like what exactly is the carb count? And what is the calories per slice, and what is the recommended servings per bread?
Hi Jeffrey. If I wanted to make zucchini bread instead, I assume the other batter ingredients would be the same. Question is: do I add the grated zucchini at the beginning and use a hand mixer on it? Or would I fold in the grated zucchini at the end? My new Bundt Pan and I await your wisdom. Thanks!
If you cannot have almond flour because of nut allergies, you can dehydrate shelled sunflower seeds and then grind them into flour. It substitutes one-for-one.
Just bought your book. I’m 60 and figured it’s time to cook. Just saw your banana bread video. Looking forward to trying it. Wonder how it would work with chopped walnuts like the 100’s of times my mom made it in a regular oven?
@@johnl119 No. Not real sure where I got it from I was just thinking what could I say in these trying times and this phrase just came to me and it stuck.
I keep coming back to this video after 2 years, and I continue to make it and the only banana bread I've made thus far . It is scrumptious ❤
Wonderful!

I come back to this recipe again and again. Incredible. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Thank you for sharing! Love the healthier take on Banana bread!!!
Who doesn't like banana bread. Whether it takes an hour more or less, it's the banana bread that's the winner. Nice job.
I love that you’re sharing low-carb recipes. More please.
This is not by any means lot carb. Bananas and maple syrup is as far from low carb as you can get. LoL
It’s a lot lower carb than if you used AP flour and regular sugar. And not enough maple syrup to say so. The fact that it’s gluten free is good, as well as lower carb. And super yummy.
i know it is kinda off topic but do anybody know a good website to stream new tv shows online?

You are as cute as a bug. Watching you make this banana bread bring smiles to my face. What an asset you are to the human being. Thank you for what you do Rosalie

I was bummed about the concert too, hopefully next year! Can’t wait to make this 😋 thank you for sharing!
Made this a few days ago. Tasted moist and delicious.
I'm buying that book right now! I love your recipes.
Looks delicious.
I agree, curved bananas do not make a difference. Like Carrie said in Sex And The City, “If it curves to the right, we’ll work it out...I’ll go left”.
Jeffrey! Love the last few recipes! Especially the Jalapeño Chicken! I also don't do gluten & try to avoid carbs / processed sugar. So your easy Keto recipes are my favorite! Keep up the great work Jeff!
Can you do a zucchini bread version?!!!
Loved this recipe!
Looks marvelous 😋I’m allergic to tree nuts. Please recommend a substitution for Almond flour. Thank you
You’re adorable ❤ love your recipes
BEAUTIFUL! My mouth is watering LOL
Best banana bread ever!
Adorable kids. Oh, by the way. Love your cookbook.
So excited about your new book coming. I just pre-ordered it!
Yum! Would this work with adding in some walnuts or dark chocolate chips to the batter?
sure if that's the way you like it .uh huh
It's so much fun to watch Jeff have his foodgasms.

This was sooooo good and moist.. everyone in the family LOVED IT! Thank you
You add the baking soda with the baking powder, that's why its so soft and moist.
Have to try your recipe. Thank you.

You have a great family! Will make your BB!
Love your video's & have your cookbook. Can you use regular sugar and flour? Thanks, Tom
Of course. But your measurements will be different for the flour.
I MADE IT TODAY WISH ME LUCK I KNOW IT WILL TASTE GREAT THX.
There’s a flavor compound in calves that’s also in bananas. A bit of ground cloves - 1/4 tsp., say - enhances and banana bread, muffin, cake, etc.

That just looks Yummy, Jeffrey!😋🤩
Those ol' school tater masher's were The Best! I've had many others but they just don't measure up.
We still use our masher. Never thought to use it for the nanners
just brought an instant pot duo...great get starting video...I can do this lol!!
I make one last night I added pecans chopped a cup 1/2 and added little more sugar
Do you have any nutritional on this? Like what exactly is the carb count? And what is the calories per slice, and what is the recommended servings per bread?
It is a great recipe; it tastes incredible. Next time, I will add some walnuts.
How nutty! Glad you enjoyed. ;)
I'm going to try soon, tell how it taste
Can I substitute coconut flour instead of almond flour?
can it be done in a regular oven?
A confectionery sugar icing would make a nice finish
You are a funny chef!
Can i use oil instead of butter ? I have a severe dairy allergy! 😊
Making this when I get up
QUESTION.... JEFF, could you omit the sweetener or use brown sugar and just use maple syrup or is the sweetener necessary? Just wondering.
Can this recipe be made in an Instantpot Pro?
Oh my, super yummy. Banana bread is one of my all-time favorites. Can I add chocolate chips?

can this be made in loaf pan?
What's is the name of the sugar that you are using, also the pan please get back thank you
Interesting, unfortunately I'm allergic to almonds, would regular flour and granulated sugar work in this recipe?
Your family is adorable. the kids so cute!
What about normal ovens?
If you cannot have almond flour because of nut allergies, you can dehydrate shelled sunflower seeds and then grind them into flour. It substitutes one-for-one.

I'd like to use regular sugar and flour. How much sugar and flour should I use? Thanks.
THIS WAS AWESOME BREAD GREAT TASTE. BUT A LITTLE ON THE HEAVY SIDE. IS THERE ANYWAY TO MAKE IT LIGHTER IN WEIGHT AND NOT SO HEAVY?
Yay G Free! Maybe since your sis is gfree we will get more of these recipes 🤞🤞
My bread was loose in the middle. Can I pressure cook for more time?
Can u put how many grams
God bless you! Answering prayers for me to eat bread😜!
Can I suggest that you do a recipe for gluten-free bread in the instant pot?
lovely family
What if I missed the baking soda?
Can I use regular flour if I don't care about the gluten or would that not work for this recipe??
Can I use regular flour and regular sugar if I don't have that stuff?
Could this be made with oat flour (ground oats) as well? (If yes, 1:1 ratio almond flour to oat flour?)
Could you use normal flour and sugar?
Can I get the protein/ carbs/ fats info? Like how many grams? If it’s already in comments I apologize :)
I don't have a bundt pan yet. Can I use my springform pan? Any cooking changes?
If I want to put in real sugar instead of the substitute, how much sugar should I use?
Hall & Oates??? I love them!!
Love love love your videos. Please can you make chicken noodle soup
