thanks for the recipe, I just made it so yummy. I add 3 Tbsp. yogurt to make the cake moist. I am not paleo diet just trying avoid gluten.and add chopped dark chocolate in the batter, is sweet already. thanks again

This chocolate banana bread is SO DELICIOUS!!! The texture is like a brownie. it's unbelievable MOIST! Honestly it's HARD to decide if it's better as soon you take out of the oven or overnight in the refrigerator. Cold is like a delicious soft fudge. Thank you for this simple, but amazing recipe!

Hi Dani! Thank you for this video! I like your really clear and positive manner of explaining all the steps and I cannot wait to try making the chia egg as I am trying to eat more vegan meals! It is really great to learn about a new egg substitute. I want to make some banana bread but I need to make it SUPER SUPER healthy as the sort of sweet foods and drinks about ( and really bad dentists) have destroyed half my husband's teeth though he is only in his 40s so I have decided NEVER to use sugar, sweet syrups or chocolate ever again in my cooking! And they are almost completely banned from my shopping lists too! I have found that boys and men find it really hard to say NO to sugar and they do not know how to include plenty of fruit in their diets as they are hardly included as part of meals in restaurants/cafe's etc. They have very weak, yellow teeth over here in Europe ( and the men like to smoke tons too and they really do NOT seem to understand the importance of picking up a toothbrush twice a day!) It is a real nightmare over here in Europe. Basically they need LOTS of help to achieve healthy, strong, beautiful teeth for life! They need desserts with ZERO sweeteners and just fruit for some sweetness! Do you know how many grams of sugar are in your banana bread and how much the whole cake weighs? Have you ever tried making a SUPER SUPER HEALTHY banana bread with just bananas and chopped raisins to sweeten the cake? Basically without the syrups, without sugar, without the chocolate chips ( as chocolate is often mainly made with refined white sugar!) but using only cacao powder and fruit?? I am planning to make my banana bread this way. I am also thinking to add desiccated coconut and to leave out the baking soda and baking powder as they are manmade chemical additives that I do NOT want in my foods EVER. I really do not mind if my cake is denser than other cakes. The main thing for me is to produce ultra healthy cakes that do not contain additives or sugars and that are satisfying. I think a slice of this SUPER SUPER HEALTHY BANANA BREAD would taste nice with a very thin layer of organic peanut butter ( with no added sugar) on top! Let me know if you try this version. I made this today because I was craving something chocolate. I didn’t have almond flour so I used ground oatmeal, and it was delicious. Not too sweet. I put a little whipped cream on it. Very good.

I was skeptical because I love ice cream, full fat and all, and I typically have been disappointed with other healthy recipes. My kids loved it too, from age 4 to the 12 year old. I love that you are using the Lakanto maple syrup - I use it by itself and in combo with real maple syrup as the Lakanto is mostly water the real maple syrup adds depth to flavor and I’m still reducing the sugar calories. Love all your recipes Dani❤️
