If you want to see more information about the Ninja Foodi Deluxe, the Instant Pot Duo Crisp, Emeril's Pressure Air Fryer and Crockpot Express Crisp watch this video ruclips.net/video/A2DqGyH7PnA/видео.html.
They are all 8 quart combination pressure cooker air fryers but each of them is a little different.

Great comparison video! Great to know either the Foodi Deluxe or the Instant Pot Duo Crisp perform equally, so it’s up to one’s individual preference. Many people prefer a stainless inner pot because they don’t want a nonstick coating or an attached lid. Thanks for sharing.

For the Instant Pot Duo Crisp, its not recommended to cook chickens in that crisper basket, that is why there was less room. You need to use the trivox thank comes with it. It allows the chicken to lay more natural.

I was having the same issue with cleaning my Instant Pot, until someone told me about using Barkeeper’s Friend. I happened to have some on-hand and believe me when I tell you that it will easily get that interior pot cleaner and shinier than it was coming out of the box. It will look like a mirror, and it cleans a whole lot easier.

Great review - very well organized video, very well summarized and to the point. So many others drag out for 20-30-40 minutes. The cleanup was very helpful - never saw that in any other comparison. Finally, you let us know your preference. For anybody looking for help with deciding which of these to buy, there is little that is more frustrating than spending the aforementioned 20-30-40 minutes listening to endless babble, only to have the presenter say in the last ten seconds that they like them both and they're basically the same.

Thats true, but I don't want to scrub pans if I can avoid it. Instant Pot does make a non stick pot but it is more narrow than the Ninja Foodi Pot. I like the wide surface area to cut down on th batches of food I cook. Thanks for watching!

I have an off brand electric pressure cooker with a non-stick liner. After about 6 months it started to peel off. I've since purchased the Instant Pot Duo Crisp and I prefer the stainless steel liner now. I've not had any issues cleaning it with hot water and a non-scratch scrub pad (blue ones). I've never had a non-stick pot that didn't eventually peel so I'm interested if any of the Ninja Foodi's have. As far as the hinged airfry lid on the Ninja vs the removable Duo Crisp - I like it removable and even though I don't have the Ninja I would probably hate it always hanging there in the air in the way. Just my personal preference, but I think I made the correct purchase for me. Thanks for your video!

I have the InstantPot Duo 60 and the Air Fry lid. Love them. However I have been thinking about Switching to the Nina Foodi Deluxe because of the larger (and wider) capacity and the attached air fry lid. I also like standard cooking pot is non-stick coated. I AGREE the InStantPot's stainless pot is annoying to clean and after the first use no longer looked brand new (I purchased an InstantPot not stick pot made by them and the air fry lid acts up when trying to take it off).
Your video has helped me decide to Purchase the Ninja Foodi Deluxe for sure.

Great review but I am still torn on what to do. My partner dropped the lid to Pressure Cooker XL, and it slightly bent it to the point that it no longer will come up to pressure. I have a Cooks Essential air fryer from QVC which is now about 4 years old. I was hoping to replace both with 1 unit to save space, but the Ninja Express Foodi has a very large footprint. I also would never be able to use it on the counter because of how the lip flips up. I also don't like how the Instapot Duo Crips air fryer lid is so big. My Cooks Essential air fryer has a drawer type pot that just pulls out and I really like that style. I guess I will be just buying a new air fryer and get a separate Instapot pressure cooker.

I thought the foodi would be too big and difficult to deal with...but being hinged has turned out to be quite helpful! And that fact that it can bake, broil, dehydrate, sear, sautee, pressure cook, steam, air crisp and make yogurt is just wild. Everything I have tried so far has been easier than ever to make but with much better results...my poor oven may feel neglected...but the foodi just works better, faster, and easier.

We just got a Ninja like yours. I do prefer stainless steel and ordered one for it as well. That way we have both. I noted several complaints in the reviews on amazon about the instapot taking a long time to build up cooking pressure (20 minutes) , but maybe that was a cheaper model. It was a factor in not getting it. They were comparing it to this Ninja foodi delux8, though and I would hope they'd have used a similar model and not a cheap one to compare. It seems in retrospect the attached lid can be a bit of a problem with upper cabinets not allowing it to open and having to place it elsewhere to use, or pull it forward on the counter, but I do like the idea it won't get lost (which was a part of why I got it) as husband is good at stashing things where we can't find them lol. The wider space is a plus too. Seems like it would allow for faster cooking with more surface area and shallower amount to heat up. Also more surface area crisped if you want to crisp. I also like your voice, cadence and that you don't drag out the review with extraneous information not pertinent, like the history of pressure cooking. That can be an extra video lol

We all have our things. I am looking into getting one of these kinds of cooking pots. I avoid coated surfaces surfaces and prefer steel or cast iron pans. For the steam release you have to get your fingers much closer with the Ninja than the Instapot. On another review of these kinds of pots, the person got too close to the hot attached lid while taking the pot out.
I am leaning towards a model that has handles on the pot insert. I have arthritis in my hands and that will make it easier for me.

The air fry basket can be conofigured for two levels with the use of an included divider.

You can use vinegar and soap to clean stainless . It works !

Good Morning @sweetsavant I am so surprised to see how crisp yet juicy the chickens turned out in the air fryer. They both looked similar, however, the difficulty of the cleaning would make or break my decision. Awesome!! 😊

That's exactly how I feel! Easy clean up is very important to me. I don't want to spend more time scrubbing pots after cooking dinner! Thanks so much for watching!

Put some vinegar in your soaking water for an easy clean up.

Ninja foodi inner pot is hard to get even from the official website in Nederland. Thats why i have switched to instant pot. The coating fell off as well, i didnt feel safe to use ninja anymore.

You need a stainless steel scrubber for stainless steel pots. They wash right up in a flash. I will never cook with aluminium, even if it’s covered with ceramic.

I think the pressure cook feature in Ninja is good but what about taking that chicken after the pressure cook into a Ninja Grill at 500 degrees or air fry at 450 degrees......

  • @kinglord5429

interesting the pressure cooker doesn't cook whole chicken any faster than my stand alone air fryer. ceramic pot can chip which isn't dangerous in its self but health risk comes from what metal that coating is on. stainless steel already know risk, none

Hi please tell me if I can make this recipe directly in the inner pot without any insert and since how long do you own the instant pot crisp and if it is still working. Thanks very much for your reply and this really useful video.

You can but it will be a juicy mess and you have to drain juice and put in air fry basket to crisp. I accidentally did that and wouldn’t recommend unless you want stew. Lol...

Nice video I like both but I recommend the stainless steel instant pot over the ceramic nonstick due to peeling over time after cooking at high temperatures

I actually prefer SS pots. When the nonstick starts to flake or scratch you should replace it for health safety reasons. They take more to clean forsure though. Give barkeepers friend a try if you haven't already

I prefer the Instant Pot Duo Crisp because both the lids come off for easier cleaning, moving, and storage. I also prefer the stainless steel cooking pot. Barkeepers Friend will keep it looking shiny as new. FYI most stores sell the 8QT, but you should know that a 6QT version is sold exclusively at Wal-Mart

EXCELLENT video, thank you. I truly prefer the stainless steel insert even if it does sometimes take a few minutes of soaking, it always comes out like new with a scrubby. You can get an aluminium non-stick pot with an Instant Pot too, if preferred.

Do you have to put any liquid in the bottom of the pot if you ONLY want to airfry the chicken?

Good morning @sweetsavant. Love your videos. I was fortunate enough to have both the ip dou crisp and the ninja foodi. And I see we share the likes when it came to the the ninja foodi, the hinge air crisp and the non stick pot. The stainless steel pot in the IP never to me was able to get clean with out the water/food stains embedded into the surface so I gave it away to a family member. They love it though. In my opinion it was too cumbersome for a small kitchen. My 1 question is did u flip the chicken to crisp on back side?

    • @sweetsavant
      @sweetsavant  5 лет назад +1

Hi Tye! The easy cleanup of the Ninja Foodi is a big plus for me. I think the IP is a good machine but not the best for me. I did not flip the chicken to crisp the bottom. I'm afraid I'll drop it LOL! Thanks for watching!

Tye, barkeeper's friend cleanser will clean up all you stainless and especially the Instant pot inner pot. My IP stainless comes out great! Give it a try, or let your family member know.

Thank you, I prefer stainless steel to non-stick, non stick is great when new but doesn't have the durability of stainless steel, I think it's worth the extra elbow grease
