@@scoarpa all sold out for now i'm afraid :( Hoping to get in some more blanks in the coming months. Follow on insta / facebook / etsy to be notified when they're back in :)
Really nice ring, patterning looks amazing! I’ve just got myself some Eveflex rubber cylinders to use instead of sandpaper in a split mandrel. They work really well, 4 grits, 5 in each grit for about 15 quid. Got mine from Cookson Gold.
Awesome work, I just started making rings my self out of coins but I wanted to advance on to something cooler, Ive seen a few meteorite ring videos and I couldn't believe how much meteorite was wasted in some during the process yours seems to keep that to a minimal which I like. I hope to one day have enough use for a lathe to justify buying my own but for now it's more of a fantasy
This is so awesome! Okay having watched more, am cringing a smidge at the silversmithing. First the silver should have been annealed to make it softer, then shaped into a ring, soldering wise, the ring should have been heated, flux applied, hard solder in tiny bits along the seam, ring heated evenly before concentration on the solder. Your pickle should be warm but not hot and it only needs 5 minutes or so. You also should be soldering on a tile or with firebricks for safety. Your polish was rouge and not Tripoli. I say all this from a place of goodwill, please believe me, I was taught by a silversmith and I want you to be safe and minimise risks. I DO love your work and the ring please don't think I'm being horrible
All of the points you made are right and in my latest videos that’s how I do it now. The silver was already annealed and bits of the video are edited so you don’t see every step of the process. Maybe you should start a RUclips channel?
@@ZebranoWoodCraft that's awesome! Can't wait to see what's next! I have thought about it but chronic illness has got in the way this year, I have a stack of billets waiting to be rings
Haha I did save the shavings for inlays (though I’m not a massive fan of the shredded metal in resin look). I’ll probably mix them in with Tektite meteorite 😁👍🏽
Wow so cool
I Absolutely Love It Brother! The Video Was Top Notch Too! Thank You Dan👍
Thanks Steve, appreciate it man
Absolutely fantastic😍

Awesome Job Brother! Got some Cosmic New Twisted Ti and Crystal Ti Blanks on the way. Will hit you up for the next one 👊
Thanks dude, can't wait to see what supplies you get in! The crystal Ti is gonna be crazy cool!
I didn't see the meteorite on your shop a week ago :)

Wouldn't mind some of this meteorite.... Had a look on ring craft but couldn't find. Do you have a link for it? Anyway nice job on the ring! 👍
