- I brought the DJI Avata 2 to life to see if it could make it to the top of Mount Batur Volcano in Bali, Indonesia. Signal problems, Power concerns, Will it make it?
This is a special short film to celebrate the passing of 10k subscribers here on RUclips. I'd like to thank everyone who has supported and continues to support me and the channel. It honestly means the world to me.

Okay, YOU JUST TOPPED YOURSELF! The lil’ R2D2, Wall-E thing! Whoa! That’s The Best! Would NEVER have figured you to do this one! Talk about getting better…the back and Forsyth front-on shots of your A-2 nodding, playing cool! Wow! Great shots and play, and the editing…I’d give plenty for 1/10 of that! Thanks!
Haha I'm glad you enjoyed it. This is just the first one in a series of more that I'm going to produce. The next one will be in a couple of months and there will be some upgrades coming to the little guy. Yeah I had a lot of fun with this one haha. Ah thanks, it just takes time to figure out how to make it all work. I've still got a long way to go but I appreciate how far I have already come. Thank you for the positive feedback 😃

i have this old mavic pro ... bought it used online ... i love the feature like course lock and point of interest but its taking to long to get it in the air ... now im planning for mini pro 4 or avata 2. the for the reply

I’m looking forward to seeing what you do next, and I’m looking forward to making y own videos with my avata 2 as well. Not quite as many volcanoes here in Australia, or at least not that I know of, but I’ll try to get to some nice mountains, rivers, lakes and streams.

I really enjoyed that, made me smile. How did you overcome the 500m limit ? or did you make your way up the volcano until you were in the 500m limit ?
@mordyd1770 Ah I'm really happy to hear that! Yep, I had to make my way up the volcano till I was within 500m of the top. I had to fly around 300m high to reach the peak. I wish there was a way around the 500m limit, but I guess that's why I have other FPV drones 😉

Thank you! Haha, my father is British, my mother African. I grew up mostly in the UK in Yorkshire, so that's where my accent comes from. It's quite a neutral accent as British accents go 😃

Just curious, with the recording the goggle’s video, is there a way to voice record with it like you can with the Mini 4 Pro? I plug a mic into the C port on the controller, select screen record, and there is it. Haven’t figured on how to get the voice with my Avata 2….Hope you can help! Oh, and the best part is the camera tilt replies of your questions to him! Great, thanks!
I don't think there's a way to do this unfortunately. There's no mention of Mic support on the Goggles 3. Haha thank you!
