Here in McDonough right up the way from you, so the label says “do no use on Dormant lawns” for SUNN KTS | Sunniland, so we should disregard this note?

If that’s what the label says then don’t. Have I applied to my dormant Bermuda Grass? Yes I have. But I applied before a harsh winter 🥶 freeze and my lawn I s mostly dormant but still green in some areas. If you try this make sure the Grown is not Frozen 🥶. What could happen if you do apply?, in my test Nothing at all.

@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral Well it hasn’t been any true freezing here in Georgia, last soil temps were around low 50’s. I’ll give it a try before temperatures drop some more and feedback. I have what appears to be New Zealand moss in one of my shaded areas of the lawn and heard some 0-0-25 would help. I haven’t applied anything of the sort yet but think this solution would help since it also has sulfur.

The number one bermuda grass for early regreening is Tahoma 31 number 2 is Tiftuf and number one seeded is Monaco but Rio is very close although some seeded good regreening or better said more cold tolerance is Yukon

Would this help in the south where we typically have wet, warm winters?

Well I’m kinda confused now. I didn’t know I was supposed to be treating my lawn during the winter months. How am I supposed to water with bellow 30 temps everyday. Isn’t that bad for the lawn?

Thanks brutha! My boss asked me a question during that part and I missed it. I’m usually not that guy to ask already answered questions but I appreciate it 😅.

I have it too. I live in North Mississippi. It’s is an incredible pasture grass. Tons of protein. I is a terrible lawn grass. You can actually mow it every other day and it will still get seed pods straight up. If this guy hasn’t heard of Bihalia , I don’t know if I would put much stock in him.
I cut my entire yard with a tractor and disc until it was powder. Then I sowed Bermuda grass by over seeding method. Around the edges of my yard is too shaded and I planted shade plants. I use very little fertilizer 8-8-8 and a bag of ammonia nitrate and a bag of cleated iron. I have an 1-1/2 acre yard. I only do this once a year and sometimes I don’t use as much ammonia nitrate. Fertilizer needs to go in during rains or it will burn your grass. Thing about having cattle you talk to old people that want pretty cows and healthy grass is the way to go. I still don’t want Bihalia in my yard .
