    Very good advice, as usual. 😊
    One skill that I would add is first-principles-based-thinking (i.e. understanding the fundamental principles and fundamental building blocks for your project.) That will help you avoid unnecessary dependencies and keep your project as small and as efficient as possible while still making it scalable.

    Krish sir, I would like to make a request to you that as you are a lead data scientist I would like to request you to make a video regarding the whole procedure of how a data scientist works because as a common student we can not visualize how a real organization works with the data science. So I request you to please think about it. I have also seen that in most of your comments you didn't reply anyone, so if you reply I will think that you are gonna work over this plan. Thank you. Hi , Can you pls tell me what does scalability mean? You told that we need to check if the code is scalable or not..what does this mean?

    • @BiancaAguglia
      @BiancaAguglia 4 года назад +7

      Something is scalable if it works on large datasets or on large systems just as well as it works on small datasets or small systems.
      Let's start with an example that's not related to code: your personal attention. You can give personal attention and be a good friend to only a small number of people. If you try to "scale it up" to a lot of people, you can't do a good job at it. You just don't have the time for it. So true personal attention and true friendship are not scalable. 😊
      When it comes to data science, you can have a project that works well on a small dataset, a small pipeline, or for a small number of users. If the project fails when it's used for large datasets, large pipelines, or large amounts of users, then, most likely, either:
      1. it wasn't scalable
      2. it needs to be redesigned to be scalable.
      I hope that helps a bit. 😊

    Hey Can you please list down the topics of statistics for Data Science

    • @RajaSekharGowda
      @RajaSekharGowda 4 года назад +3

      Visit khan academy or stats quest
      Statistics has huge topics
      This is my opinion mam

    • @BiancaAguglia
      @BiancaAguglia 4 года назад +6

      Start with the fundamentals:
      1. data sampling
      2. statistical distributions (eg. normal, binomial, Poisson, etc)
      3. EDA (exploratory data analysis)
      4. hypothesis testing
      5. regression, prediction, classification
      then move on to advanced topics like Bayesian statistics, statistics for machine learning, etc.
      There are many free textbooks online. Here are some examples:
      1. Introduction to Statistics, by David Lane. (onlinestatbook.com/2/index.html)
      2. Introductory Statistics by Barbara Illowsky and Susan Dean (openstax.org/details/books/introductory-statistics)
      3. An Introduction to Statistical Learning by by Gareth James, Daniela Witten, Trevor Hastie and Rob Tibshirani (faculty.marshall.usc.edu/gareth-james/ISL/)
      4. The Elements of Statistical Learning by Trevor Hastie, Robert Tibshirani, and Jerome Friedman (web.stanford.edu/~hastie/ElemStatLearn//)
      Books 1 and 2 are beginner level. Books 3 and 4 are advanced (plus the examples are implemented using R not Python), but it's definitely worth taking the time to read and understand them.
      My advice is to start with some problem from Kaggle, and use the datasets for that problem to apply what you're learning in statistics. (Of course, do the exercises from the textbooks too). Also, don't get discouraged by how much you have to learn. It will be slow going at first but, if you take the time to truly understand what you're learning, things will get faster and easier soon enough. 😊Best wishes to you.

    • @manishanikumar
      @manishanikumar 4 года назад +3

      Keeping it simple. I have written in sequential form that tells what we are gonna learn from them.
      1. Conditional Probability > Bayes Theorem > Naive Bayes Classifier
      2. Gradient Descend > to get optimal m&c value from y=mx+c > used in regression
      3. Mean,Meadian,Mode > Variance,Standard Deviation > Optimal Least Square, R2
      4. Variance > Covariance > Correlation,Multi-collinearity,Auto-Correlation
      5. Variance > Homoskedesticity, Heteroskedesticity
      6. Normal distribution > Standardized Distribution
      7. P-value,Confidence level > Z-test(standardized score), T-test, F-test(aka, ANOVA)
      8. Linear Regression > logistic regression(sigmoid func.)
      9. Matrix > Eigen vector > Eigen values
      10. Quantiles
      Just google these topics, I prefer analyticsvidya.com or towardsdatascience.com for beginners.
