Thanks for the compliment. As you probably can tell , it takes a lot to make these videos. Sometimes I think I'm too insanely focused on it - but then a lot of people tell me it was helpful - and that makes it all worthwhile!
I have yet to try on the NanoX1 but I have tried on both Metcons "6 and react turbo" I thought they were both comfortable but I liked the upper of the 6...the react turbo felt really tight around the toe area.
I recently made a visit to the osteopath for a pronated ankle/heel. He recommend training shoes to me, and said to specifically look for something with a firm heel that would prevent or limit the amount of internal rotation of my heel/ankle. Based on that, would you say that the Nano x1 would be suitable? I'm open to other recommendations not shown in the video as well
Nike is very selective about which shoes get a wide option (like the Pegasus 37). There are only regular widths for the metcon shoes, as far as I know.
@@fitatmidlife927 I hope you can do it as soon as possible !!! looks like a very interesting and beautiful shoe model !! thank you never stop making the reviews so detailed, a ranking with table would be useful
@@derbigp150cc Yeah, I've been thinking about doing an "overview of cross trainers" and talk about best for running, best for lifting, relative pros and cons. I was waiting for the Turbo to come out. I think the Metcon 7 is a long ways off, so probably a good time to make that video
Questions? Comments? Feedback? Post here and I'll answer as best I can.
This should be the standard for shoe reviews! Well done!

amazing review. You clarified every doubt I had.

I had to go 1/2 size up on the Turbo for both length and width. It's "short" compared to the Metcon 6
Have you tried the ZoomX Superrep Surge?
I have a pair and they are under test now - probably a video next week.
Rope climbing performance? And material ripped off?
(Sorry if I missed your review)
I don't test rope climbing as I don't have a rope at my home / garage gym. Sorry!
Rope climbs are bad for the reacts

If you want the most solid heel possible, I'd recommend the Nano X rather than the X1.
@@fitatmidlife927 Thanks! Much appreciated
Do they not make Metcons in wide sizes ?

So, you buy almost one pair of shoes per week! :-) Greetings from Portugal
When you try puma fuse ??????:)
I'm still testing the SuperRep Surge and TriBase Reign 3 first - both are under testing. I haven't bought the Fuse yet.
