This hot new saltwater fishing song features the guys from Salt Strong along with Hunter Smith (the lead singer of Jill's Cashbox). And the entire video was filmed in and around the Boca Grande and Little Gasparilla Island (FL) area.
All fish were caught using artificial lures and baits over a 2-day period, 90% of the snook, redfish, and trout were caught on Berkley Gulp baits, and all fish were released.
The snook feeding took place at the Gasparilla Marina.
A huge thanks to Patrick Rhea and Nick Shirghio from Livit Films for the amazing video and drone footage for this film. You guys are the best. And thanks to Patrick for coming in on the clutch with the 20lb snook!

This was my Husbands ,Dalton Gunter’s favorite song. Written by his 1st cousin, John Gunter. My husband passed with Covid pneumonia, but I still love to listen to this song. It brings back beautiful memories. Dalton grew up in a fishing boat. His Dad, JB Gunter, owned Gunters bait and tackle in Lakeland Fl. Never to be forgotten. ❤️🙏🙏🙏
My dad passed away yesterday and he's why I'm this way. As far back as I am able to recall he'd take me fishing from bridges, railroadtracks, beaches, around pilings below bridges and everywhere in between. This song is a masterpiece for those of us whose dad put fishing in our souls. Thank you.

Nothing but love for this song and video. I grew up on Boca Grande and fished almost everyday. Lord do I miss my grandparents. I wish I could have one more day fishing with my Granddaddy.
This song sums up all the amazing feelings, pleasures, and stress relief fishing can give. When I'm having a bad day that's were you'll find me, out with a fishing pole in hand, kicked back, and watching the waves as I wait for a bite. There is nothing like it. I love fishing so much and I love this song.

We take about 60 kids a month fishing on our local Pier with our nonprofit fishing club so I was looking around for fishing songs. This song sums up why we do it. Trying to get kids outta the house and away from electronics. Fishing in their souls is the goal. Great stuff guys.

The last time I spent with my cousin was while fishing. If i had known that was the last time I'd see him, I would have insisted on fishing a little longer. Fishing is a huge part of my life because it brings back memories of time spent with him and just puts my soul at ease. My son is getting old enough to learn and I plan on using it to teach him to have patience with the world around him and to value everything around him before it's gone because you never know what will be taken away and how soon.

great song, reminds me of an old fishing spot off Boca Grand past the fishing pier we walked across the old railroad trusses to where the swing bridge was. great fishing and good times. Thanks for bringing back the memories

I've casted at least 500 times this year and been skunked the whole time. Fresh and salt.. well thats why it's called fishing and not catching. On a positive note... I got my buddy and his two boys out this year and the oldest caught two smallmouth. They are hooked no pun intended.
