Bug/Steel is a good typing even if it has a major weakness to Fire. Gives plenty of resistances and gives Bug pokemon an immunity to Poison. Scyther really benefited from evolving into Scizor. Gen 5 really brought in great Bug types. Galvantula, Genesect, Volcarona, etc.
You know, I LOVE using Bug-type pokemon. Galvantula to set sticky webs, Durant to Hone Claws and destroy crap, Volcarona to Quiver Dance on special attackers and rock sh*t, Scizor to make the opponent crap their intestines after a swords dance. I played Elite Redux with these 4 bug-types lmfao. The funniest instance is me running focus sash Galvantula, and I just 2-shot Kyogre. It do be like that when you're sashed.
Idea for a series: Best All-Dual-Type Team from each generation. You could even have a caveat where you do no type crossovers (or as few as possible) to make it more interesting!
My favorite typing for the simple fact that I pair the philosophical approach that just because you grow a lot earlier doesn't mean you are at your fullest potential. I love bug types and have been using at least 3 bug types on my team since I got back into Pokemon with Sun/Moon
In Gen 1, Beedrill will always have a place in my heart when it comes to Bug Pokémon. He was a part of my first team ever assembled when Red and Blue came out.
In my opinion, as for right now, Gen 5 has the most wide dex of useful Bug-type Pokemon as being only Escavalier and Accelgor were the only Bug-types from Gen 5 not making it in the list or honorable mention. Salute to Unova, my fav region.❤❤❤
How on earth is any police force supposed to enforce a ban against Ninjask? and since when do lawmakers give a crap about what pokemon you put on your team in your own home?
I'm a little guttered my all time favorite Heracross didn't make this list but I respect it has a good few weaknesses. I'll still make it fit in my teams 👍
Ninjask only got a mention? Damn. Scarlet I ran a full bug team and swept the gyms and elite four. Volcarona, Scisor, Heracross, Venomoth, Frosmoth, and the scarab.
Rock type is definitely the best type there is, can't wait to see what you make of that, it does help me make a team cuz it gives me ideas for new combos, so keep it up spinda is the best. 😊
Durant was only good in gen 8 because hustle made it not miss and hit harder when gigantmax. Galvantula us criminally underrated the thing has a ton of coverage and what? 98% accurate thunders? Thats terrifying
Well of course Durant is a solid Pokemon, it's Part Steel type. FR though there isn't a single bug type I don't like. Yes, that includes Wormadam. Though I still say that she and Mothim are both long overdue a couple of evolutions. Better Stats with Wormadam's different type combos, and actual viability for Mothim!

Don't forget Scolipede
Bug and steel is one of the best pairings. Scizor, Genesect and Escavalier are great Pokemon. Durant is ok.
Bug Steel is like Water Ground in that manner
Defensively so powerful with only One Fatal Weakness
@@notshockwavedemon7543 no freeze dry type weakness either.
Imagine a Bug Steel with Well-Baked Body lol
One of the most underrated type of Pokémon. It is nice that they get some loving chance in the spotlight.
dawg it in not underrated lmao bug it literally the worst type in the game hahahaha
@@epicgamerman4268idk bug with the right dual type is nice I’d say rock is worse
@@greenecarlos93 anything is good with the right dual type and rock has sand to boost itself and hits better weaknesses while bug aint got anything
Gen 5 really did Bug a lot of good
Aka a good BST for them.
I feel like Forretress could definitely deserve an hm for just being such a menace in early competitive while also still being solid nowadays.
0:44 You saw a Boll Weevil!
Galvantula desperately needs an Evolution or Stat boost, dude is Sub 500 BST
Slither Wing is good, you're just scared
Of what? Being slow?
A 4x weakness to flying?
Once you go bug, you ain't ever gonna shrug
I like this LOL
I’m guessing Scizor and Volcarona are top 3 before watching
lokix is one of my favorite gen 9 mon, was happy to see it on the list!

Really surprised heracross isn't on here.
As good as Heracross is, power creep has ruined it since Gen 7.
Moxie still slaps
Too many faster Pokémon. Plus the 4x flying weakness and the fairy weakness put it at so many opponents' mercy.
Is Durant really better than hera? I don’t think so
Is gen 8 is good but sucks at gen 9 because of powercreep.@@oliverorchard6774

Big oof gen 2
one of the most splendid, heartfelt outros I've ever heard in years
Scizor can learn Roost in the 4 generation remake, and after that you transfered it via pokehome.
My heart sunk when he was foreshadowing ultra space, just to it end up being Pheromosa instead of Buzzswole😭
The Oversized White Roach
Who actually thought in their right mind it was ok to give Pheromosa Quiver Dance in Gen 8? That is messed up.
It will rarely ever use it anyway. Considering it gets oneshot easily
Also the fact that it doesn't need quiver dance lol
leaving off escavalier is a travesty
Absolutely.
Nah if a flame charge takes you out you aren't that good lol yeah dude has crazy attack but damn fire just roasts him lol

Thanks for this I needed it as a bug type gym leader
That's not a joke I am a bug type gym leader though I am thinking about switching to dragon
These videos bring me so much joy
In Gen 1, Beedrill will always have a place in my heart when it comes to Bug Pokémon. He was a part of my first team ever assembled when Red and Blue came out.
My boy Heracross is in a corner crying for not being mentioned lol.
We love a good consultation prize! 🤩
Which Gen 9 Pokemon would benefit from having Hidden Power?
I'm sure a lot of them would but that means we need fucking Unown back. 😒
In my opinion, as for right now, Gen 5 has the most wide dex of useful Bug-type Pokemon as being only Escavalier and Accelgor were the only Bug-types from Gen 5 not making it in the list or honorable mention. Salute to Unova, my fav region.❤❤❤
Neither did leavanny nor crustle
Keep up the awesome work and videos
How on earth is any police force supposed to enforce a ban against Ninjask? and since when do lawmakers give a crap about what pokemon you put on your team in your own home?
Cool concept you can do next is best Pokémon to use for each Tera type
Nice video
Heracross has left the chat
I'm a little guttered my all time favorite Heracross didn't make this list but I respect it has a good few weaknesses. I'll still make it fit in my teams 👍
No Shuckle?? The thing has an attack power of 721 million in damage.
I love the smash references
I want sheinja in here , isn't sheinja deserve to be in the list.?😊
Doing a bug only play through of sun at the moment so this will be useful ☺️
Not a nuzlocke, I would of had to restart three times if I was doing one😂
1:01 "gus" lol
Bugs are, and will forever be my favorite type. Bugs are so damn cool imo
Heracross left the chat😢
Could've sworn I've seen this video twice before!
Ninjask only got a mention? Damn.
Scarlet I ran a full bug team and swept the gyms and elite four.
Volcarona, Scisor, Heracross, Venomoth, Frosmoth, and the scarab.
Draganite is the sole reason I train dragons as of 9 years ago before that it was fure and fighting
Why are some of the coolest Pokémon Bug types? Scizor, Heracross, Scolipede, Volcarona, Genesect, Vikavolt, Golisopod, Kleavor are all awesome.
Bug always has a weakness. Also, the evil elojorindo7646 user is bullying the weak. That so, time weakened does make us human.
how did durant not make this list wth
NO HERACROSS? HAVE YOU KOST YOUR FREAKING MIND? HOW CAN YOU FORGET THE BESTEST BOI?
Where the fu* IS BUZZWOLE?
Buzzwole, crustle, heracross, escavalier?
No heracross makes me sad
Well of course Durant is a solid Pokemon, it's Part Steel type.

Scolipede is my main mon, always and forever.
You should do a video on what your competitive team would be
Tbh I need to do more comp team vids, will definitely do some more in 2024!
I think that Genisect is the strongest Bug type.
I like using Joltik/Galvatula for Alpha Sapphire.
1:04 who's gus 😂
I just noticed Golisopod and Slither Wing have the same eyes
Mystic were you smoking the grass type?
Meganium and I hit the grass a tad much lol. I will explain more of that today in Ranking the Water Starters. Also, I like your Vegeta Icon!
That fairy resistance needs to go away, and maybe turn into weakness, and bug is solved for me.
Do the strongest Psychic type next.
I will at least say this, I agree with Lokix being a solid Bug type. However I think it's one of the worst Dark type Pokemon.
It reeks of middle evolution syndrome. Would have loved to see Lokix evolve.
@@turboshazed7370 I see what you mean. It looks like it'd be a middle evolution of Nymble.
Probably in my top 3 typings
I feel like you can tell from his voice he's uncircumcised
Next rank the rivals for 2023 or 2024
I want to know the top 10 strongest Pokemon in these types: Ghost, Steel, Psychic, Dark and Fighting
Necrozma Dawn wings Ghost .
Necrozma Dusk
Mane psy .
Zacian-Crowned Steel .
Chien-Pao Dark .
Zacian Fairy .
Fuck legendaries they hog the list. Annihilape, Kingambit, Metagross, Conkeldurr...
Heracross?
No roaring moon smh my head
Shiny lokix is a pickle
Kamen Rider Zero One
It looks more like a grasshopper
Another video without ultra beast
Where brother Heracross at
CONSOLATION prize. Is there even ONE poketuber who is t illiterate? My gods!!!!!
slither wing is cool :(
So the moral of this video: Bug/Fire is kinda OP with only major weaknesses is fire. Just don't pair Bug with Flying!
Or ice. Frosmoth is not complete garbage but bug and ice is garbage on paper.
'Find' a Genesect set? Huh? You flip a coin between 'KO' and 'U-turn'. Where's the complexity...?
It’s pronounced viv-EE-YAHN, gol-IS-oh-pod, and cleav-ORE, “Patrick Star”! 🤨
HERACROSS
And without legendary
first
Stop saying "anyways"
