I'm pretty sick and tired of people commenting on me changing the video. For clarification again for the complainers, my internet sucked and the quality of the video was absolutely terrible. Please stop berrating me for changing the version, I'm over seeing the comments about it
Here is a video of the girls performing for the first time in front of 60,000 metalheads at a festival overseas. Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK ruclips.net/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/видео.html
Fun facts about this song 1. Metallica likes to sing and dance with the girls back stage to this song 2. Dragon Force has performed this song with them 3. Brian Weich from Korn has gotten on stage and performed this song with them 4. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have performed this song with them 5. Gimme Chocolate was named one of the most important metal songs of the last 10 years 6. In a recent interview Corey Taylor of Slipknot was asked who he listened to at home and he said “BabyMetal” 7. BabyMetal performed the Judas Priest classics Pain Killer and Breaking the Law with Rob Halford of Judas Priest
"1. Metallica likes to sing and dance with the girls back stage to this song". That never happened. Moa has said that she would like to teach the Metallica members one of their dances. That's probably where that idea come from. They have been joined on stage for this song by members of Korn, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and DragonForce, so #2 & #3 are true.
@@rickwagner- Metallica like to dance with the girls' backstage, I've seen that comment multiple times recently I was beginning to wonder if it did happen, and I didn't know. I want video proof at this point.
@@stevechevy3382 I've never seen a photo, video, or mention by a BABYMETAL member in any interview of them actually dancing with the Metallica guys. Just that Moa wanted to teach them one of their dances.
@@rickwagner- You always say that but I am pretty sure I read a part of an interview on the Reddit thread mentioning it. Not recently but like a year or so ago so don't ask me to find it. 😀 People are always posting like bits from obscure interviews.
@@louisaraiza4194 Moa has mentioned in the past that she would LIKE to teach Metallica members one of the BABYMETAL dances, but there is no photo, video, or interview with any BABYMETAL member showing that actually happening. I won't ask you to find an interview with a BABYMETAL member mentioning it happening since that would be an impossible task.
Great reaction, and will be looking forward to more! Most likely the folks you know that talk them down, never really listened to them? Myself, I am 59 and been into Metal from the 70's and this group brings so much to the "Metal" table. I have never felt so good after listening to metal, as I have with this band...and they have breathed new life into the genre for me. You will see what I mean as you listen and watch more. Welcome to the Foxhole.
@@Jed-qi8wo Not even close. The Colbert version is entertaining, but in no way does it compare to the awesome grandeur and majesty of the Legend 1997 performance. For BabyMetal to be their best, they need room to move.
Excellent first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL Galaxy. I'm so happy you switched to a live version (was it a compilation of a couple of live shows, I couldn't quite make it out as I'm not on my PC?) and away from the official video. Live BABYMETAL is always best, that is where they really shine - the studio audio nearly always compresses and over-processes the vocals and you don't get the Kami Band playing live supporting them.. The haters are fewer and further between these days, but sadly there are still a few Luddites with their heads up their own backsides spouting the same ignorance and misinformation as when the Gimme Chocolate video first went viral in 2014. Many of them have never got further than the initial "atatatatatatadukyun" in the official video and assume every BABYMETAL song will be the same (they're not - about 50 songs and each one different to the last) and a few who seem to think vocalists can't be a "band" ... even if they are backed by the best musicians to be found in Japan for every live show since early 2014 (and in a couple of festivals and the encores of some shows since late 2012). In the 11 years since they formed BABYMETAL have gone on to be one of the very best live bands on the planet - and they are still only aged 24 and 22 (they started very young and the whole concept was formed around the lead singer's vocal talents and stage presence - even though she was only 12). 'Road of Resistance' would be a good one for your next reaction (live in Japan is the official video, but that does use the live audio ... it is likely to be blocked, so put an overlay, a logo or something over the top of it, that seems to work). The Legend of 1997 live performance of 'Headbanger' is always good (Legend 1997 was in December 2013 the day after Su-metal's 16th birthday -. same show as the Gimme Chocolate video, but live and with the Kami Band on stage playing live too). If you look for the Babymetal Reactor Resource channel they have a live video of 'Megitsune' in a concert (the Red Fox Festival) where they had an all female audience - that's a great one.
Probably most important thing to understand is that their songs were always age appropriate. So when they were pre-teens the songs were super cute like this. Once Sumetal (lead vocalist and oldest) was roughly 15, things got a little heavier. When they hit their 20s they were just making all kinds of stuff like making a cameo in a Corey Taylor video, singing with a Thai rapper, and being featured in a Bring Me The Horizon song. Plus the fact that the production they had was on another level. As a guy that primarily listens to metalcore/deathcore, BabyMetal (and Band Maid for that matter) are on most of my playlists. #notacult
And during their teen years, many of their themes were specific to their age. This song was about body image. Others were about bullying or fighting inner demons.
Welcome to the BABYMETAL foxhole, once you enter you’ll never leave! Their cuteness hypnotizes you and then sue metal gives you a death glare, Too freaking awesome! Really enjoyed your reaction and you earned a subscriber!🦊🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
I suggest that you use the links below From the Babymetal Reactor Resource ruclips.net/video/q40VmTHSh4c/видео.html Going forward, if reactors want to keep reacting to the videos, I've come up with a solution that will make it possible to continue using the videos with logos that have already been tested against blocks. I've made a spreadsheet - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZYdthVAHYaOAYL6AuhVOHotQinMoPPFEuspqDMIIGD4/edit#gid=0 with links to both the logo videos and the non logo videos and are hosing them on a Russian social media site that won't remove them, and is out of the reach of the copyright trolls. There are a bit over 30 videos on there now, but I'll keep uploading more every day until they're all back up. I'll also be adding new videos that I'll test on an alt RUclips account before adding to the spreadsheet. If you can't access the spreadsheet for whatever reason, here are direct links to both the non logo videos and the videos with logos: No logos - ok.ru/video/c6630874 With logos - ok.ru/video/c7184602 For reactors that want to put your own logo over the videos, here is a link to the logos I use that are already made transparent - drive.google.com/file/d/1JUVfJGp36xR2n1FHl7PzRIxXhA5P4VyW/viewor you can use whatever logo you'd like. You can download the videos, which I recommend since the site can be a bit laggy sometimes, from this free website - sovid.net/ I recommend using the "HD" option when downloading to keep the file size reasonably small. Although there are other videos on my channel there, only use the ones on the spreadsheet because some of the other non logo videos aren't RUclips safe. Kitsunes UP!
Check out Babymetal - Catch me if u can :) Its heavier but still funny :) But They really have more serious songs :) if u want more serious - BxMxC, Kagerou, Headbanger, Road of Resistance some heavy rap songs - GJ , Onedari some rock ballads - No Rain No Rainbow, Rondo of Nightmare, Akatsuki inidian rock - Shanti Shanti. also they have techo-metal songs - da da dance , headbanger (night of 15 mix) (dubstep version of headbanger LIVE but they using backtrack there for effects) also very popular songs from them - Megitsune, The One, Karate, Awadama Fever PS: u must know smaaaall detail about this group. Group was formed in the year of 2010. lead vocalist was 13yo and two other girl was 11yo. Thats why versions from 2012-2014 way different then latest performances. They were very young at beginning. some songs better sound with small girls :) Some songs better sounding with mature voices :) Lead vocal - Suzuka Nakamoto doing LIVE performances from 14yo. She have very strong voice for japan girl. Even 14yo she can do things. This group doing 100% live sound. Two other girls dance and side-vocals sometimes (they have mics). Some techno songs they using backtrack sometimes because lot of electronic effects with voice. And their live performances usually sound better than official video/audio. More drive and energy.
Forgot to add that Road of Resistance Live in Japan is their epic masterpiece. It will get blocked so put a logo or something over over the screen. You have never seen a live performance such as this one by any band. The girls are only 17 and 15 and are in total control
And you can watch them grow up. the 2 dancers were like 11 when they joined BabyMetal. They feel like little sisters to me so dont mess with them or I will go all big brother on you. :D
Some metal snobs can't handle Babymetal but these ladies (and the band itself) are well-respected by the metal gods like Rob Halford. Look up Rob Zombie's defense of these ladies "who roll harder" than most of us. There are Band-Maid fans who don't like Babymetal, and Babymetal fans who don't like Band-Maid. This is usually because these fans get way overprotective of their favorite bands. There are plenty of fans who like or love both bands. I'm a Maidiac, but I loved Babymetal when I first heard this song back in 2012. The Babymetal catalog only gets better from here. I love Road to Resistance, so yeah, make the live version your next react.
The first I ever heard about any shade being thrown at either of these 2 distinctively different bands was from the Babymetal community who claimed they were getting flamed on first by Bandmaid fans. This again is so stupid to me since both bands origins are from very dissimilar genres of music! I don't recall reading, or hearing anything about Babymetal fans ripping on Bandmaid or their fan base. Either way haters gonna hate so to hell with them! Cheers!
@@bonhzeppelin55 that's so bizarre, Band Maid and Babymetal sound NOTHING alike at all lol But yeah, I guess it's my fault for trying to look for reasoning behind hate. There never is any.
@@Alicest. Thx. Well it is what it is. Also I may be losing my mind but I thought I said Babymetal & Band Maid are distinctly different bands, from different music genres. Cheers! :)
@@autohmae I unfortunately am not a fan of Bandmaid either, but I neither hate on or disrespect them. Infact the members of Bandmaid are great musicians & wonderful performers in their own right! It's just my personal life experiences & inner soul that moves me to like or dislike what I'm listening to. However Yuimetal stole, & returned my soul so many times I can't help but worship my reigning Queen & Princess of Love & Comestibles! Cheers!
Happy you ignored the haters and judged for yourself . Sad thing is a lot of hate comes from fans of other Japanese female bands ☹ Hope you react to BabyMetal again they are a breath of fresh air to a stale genre . 😁🤘🦊🤘
I've loved your Lovebites reactions so it's only natural you found your way to Babymetal. As much as I like Lovebites nobody fills a stadium like Babymetal. Road of Resistance would be a good one next, just be careful of copyright. Headbanger, Legend of 1997 would also be a great choice or Ijime, Dame, Zettai or just IDZ live at Sonisphere 2014 in England, their first major performance outside Asia, and those last 2 are usually copyright safe.
The smile forms as your synapses reform and react to the new reality. The version of ROR you should react to next is "Road of Resistance Live in Japan"; that's the definitive performance. The first video you started to watch is the MV that broke Babymetal into the RUclips universe and beyond. It's generally not one of the favorites with BM fans because it's quite gimmicky and puts many newcomers off a bit. It also doesn't show off Su's singing talent much and doesn't have the live backing band "The Kami Band". The song's lyrics aren't very deep, just about a girl who likes chocolate and is worried that she might put on some weight. The more you watch BM the more you will realize the amazing talents of those involved.
Great & welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Especially I appreciate your reaction to newer version of this song, because BABYMETAL always says "The latest is the best".(Their history is also the best, though) This video is a compilation from 7 shows in 2017 through 2021 including one at the Forum, CA on Oct.11, 2019. BM's activities have been worldwide since 2014. In the latest world tours from June 2019 through March 2020 (prior to COVID), they performed live 20 times in USA, 19 in EU/UK/Russia and 1 in Taiwan in addition to 15 in Japan. (Your twitter tells you are residing in Colorado, right? BM performed at Ogden Theatre in Denver on Sept. 25, 2019 😄 ) Last year, they carefully restarted their activities and completed 10 serial concerts here in Tokyo taking very strict countermeasures against infection. I witnessed their shows at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿 Please explore BABYMETAL more! FYI. Your favorite Band-Maid and Kami Band in BM's back have been good friends for years.
You should go back and also watch that first video so you can see the performance difference of five or six years. The girls were younger (I believe they were 14 and 13?) in the first video you skipped, which is the official video for the song that went viral. But I'm glad you switched to a real live version although it was a compilation and did not have the original 3. IMHO, seeing their videos chronologically gives you the experience of watching them 'grow up'. But welcome to the Babymetal Galaxy and hope you enjoy the journey.
The best Metal song ever about wanting to eat chocolate. 🦊🤘🤘🦊 Regarding the haters - My first Metal gig was Sabbath in 1976 and my last was Babymetal in 2020 and I've seen many, many great Metal and Rock bands in between and, IMH (but pretty fucking experienced) O, the genre their producer created, Kawaii Metal/ Cute Metal, has given us the most refreshing Metal act I've seen in decades, since Slipknot at least. 🦊🤘🤘🦊 Try IDZ live at Sonisphere, UK, in front of 60,000 Metal heads, which was their first appearance at a Metal fest outside of Japan.
Welcome to The One and the Fox Hole girl! You need watch Headbanger live or Catch me if you can whit the Kami band intro. See you in the next, Megitsune 🤟🏻🦊🇯🇵🔥🔥🔥
You made the right choice going with the second version. Yeah, there are still a few metal elitists who make fun of Babymetal, but I make fun of those people for preferring boring monotonous vanilla flavored metal. Most of the so called real metal bores me to sleep. You seemed to have a bit of a fear of that statue btw... 🤣🤣
It's seems there's a particular kind of person who goes out of their way too tell others what they don't like. It's like reading an ad for guitar lessons, then ringing them up and sceaming I DON'T WANT GUITAR LESSONS. Also those people have missed a fundamental aspect of metal, I don't give af what you think. 🤘🦊🤘.
It only gets better from here! In my opinion, "Gimme Chocolate" isn't even in the top 20 of BABYMETAL's best songs, and they have around 50 songs in their catalogue. So if you enjoyed this song, I'm sure you will enjoy most of their other songs.🤘🦊🤘
Great reaction and glad you didn't fall into the trap just because tiny Japanese ladies can command the stage and still have fun with metal. You'll get a lot of the background from others, just want to say great job and be prepared to be surprised by every song. BTW, Give me chocolate is about wanting chocolate but worried about gaining weight.
Babymetal was meant to be group to get more young girls to be interested in metal music, so they combine Jpop with different genres of metal. So far they have 50+ songs, and none sound the same. If you're looking for Latin/Metal with Night Night Burn, trap Metal with BxMxC, Nu Metal with onedari daisakusen, Ska metal with Yava, rock ballads like No Rain No Rainbow, Progressive Metal with Tales of the Destinies... Kobametal the creator of Babymetal, wanted the girls to have a more exploratory experience into metal, so that's why their early songs like iine, Doki Doki, and Gimme Chocolate has such a stronger Jpop feel, since that's what they were more used to and comfortable with... But if you listen to their songs as they progress, it becomes less and less poppy and have a stronger metal/rock music element, because the girls themselves are getting more comforable with the metal genre and it's different aspects. They credit watching Metallica perform, understand the performance side of metal. Have fun in your exploration of the Babymetal foxhole! 🤘🦊🤘

Excellent! ❤ BABYMETAL!! Your open-mindedness ensures you will have a lot of fun listening/reacting to this group. Prepare to be unprepared. As already stated, BABYMETAL is best viewed LIVE, with the possible exception of "KARATE" & "MEGITSUNE". Their bad-ass backing group the KAMI Band, the production team, & BABYMETAL (Su-metal, Moametal, & former member Yuimetal), are all about the performance. More BABYMETAL please! Arigatou! 🦊🤘 #notacult
Good job switching away from the official MV: that gets blocked a lot lately xD That MV you saw at the beginning was footage from their live show in 2013 when the Main vocalist just turned 16 and the other 2 girls were 14, and that video became viral in 2014 letting the world discover them :)
Gimme Chocolate was fun, but was probably one of their more divisive songs... as they matured, I think they were more accepted by traditional metal heads, while maintaining their other fans as well.
They're amazing! They got me back into listening to metal. It's so refreshing to have music that is heavy with driving beats AND they're all smiling, dancing and having a good time. These songs really lift my mood. You should try Road of Resistance Live From Japan or BxMxC next. Both are super hype songs.

If you're into this band there is a video about the history and lore surrounding Babymetal. There is so much interesting stuff they have an "Everything you wanted to know, or a helpful guide to Babymetal" video that you may want to react to. Maybe after you have done a few of their songs and the questions start to arise. Because there is a lot of stuff that happens on stage at their shows that revolves around the lore of Babymetal... Having an understanding of all that helps you get fully involved in what's going on. It's about an hour, but it explains the lore about the Fox God, the Chosen Seven, the Metal Galaxy, and "The One"... and much more.
I hope you do more babymetal! There are so many good songs. Their live performances are crazy wild. Road of resistance is a good one to watch the crowd.
The think that the heavy metal haters forget that while there is an element of attitude it should always be about the music and Baby Metal plays some really good Metal, even more so they open doors to those that believe heavy metal is little more than noise made by drunk and stoned Hitler youth. what damage can a whole new group of folks getting into heavy metal cause.
I would have started with Headbanger, Road Of Resistance, BMC, Karate, Catch Me If You Can or Pa Pa Ya. Gimme Chocolate is in the same boat with Doki Doki Morning they're great songs but they're more towards shock value really and really isn't that great of a first song to start with but still GREAT REACTION
Just another case of "ignore the haters and you'll find the gold they refuse to enjoy". Don't get me wrong, this is almost as much of an acquired taste as prog metal can be for people who never heard prog before. In both cases, once you get used to it, it's uniquely good. I think of it like japanese food. It's different and at first it can be a bit strange or you might even dislike it a bit, but once you get past that and start appreciating it for what it is rather than thinking about what it isn't, it might just become your favourite. I say that as someone who didn't like Babymetal until just last year and, before that, had a somewhat negative impression of them. Now they took over my heart and it's almost all I listen to - albeit I still stick to the more metal songs and not so much these pop/electronic leaning ones. Babymetal has enough variety for different tastes, gladly!
The way I see it, Babymetal merges cultures in new and interesting ways, creating something new and original. Just like explained in an old interview: __ Q: What was the inspiration for creating something so different? “[I was hoping] to incite that strange feeling that makes you go ‘what is this?’” KOBAMETAL explains, going on to give a concrete example; “Like the movie Kill Bill. I think Tarantino probably really likes Japan, and he worked hard on reproducing that in the movie, but it’s just slightly off, right? Still, it has a lot of originality.” For KOBAMETAL, that’s where the entertainment is. “[If] we were to do just straight metal-having the girls screaming-it probably wouldn’t be as interesting!” __ I'm not a musician, while their are lots of bands in metal who are doing incredible things. ..but as a non-musician I have a hard time appreciating it, because they sounds like an other band I already know. Babymetal on the other hand gives me new and interesting perspectives on metal with pretty much every song.
You need to see their "live" of "Head Banger" or "Catch me if you can". Even the live compilation videos are great because you get a good look at multiple concert performances and just how crazy they get.
So what if they don't follow some unwritten rule about what metal should be. The fact that these cute little jpop girls are paired with a bad ass metal band and are holdin their own, killin it on stage, is one of the most metal things about them.
How dare they put young girls at the forefront of this kind of music.... Oh yeah, I love all the Babymetal hate and blah blah blah. These girls here are more grown up than those people, in my opinion. 😉 I have a very strong feeling you'll like 'Road of Resistance'. Even though it might be difficult to get the official version through, I strongly recommend it, as others have already done. There is no better one if you ask me. :) _____________________ 【 _Our rock never dies ever. Forever!_ 】- from BAND-MAID 'Manners' 🕊️
Road of Resistance will showcase how 3 japanese girls can have full control of 60k+ crowd. Babymetal will not disappoint. And ofcourse live as always but there is a few official music vids to watch. And if you EVER have a down n out day, Doki Doki Morning will chear anyone up. Its there first video Su was 13yo and You and Moa were 11. You look like a girl who can handle some off the wall shit. I recommend the group Heilung (Healing in german) Kriggsgaldr or In Maidjan. Theyre a nordic folk metal group.
So glad that you switched the video. The earlier version is the worst version of GC in my opinion as earlier on Babymetal used Babybones, which only mimed to the music. The latter version is of course way better. Now I dare you to react to headbanger or Ijime Dame Zettai live at Sonisphere.
6:56 "Road of Resistance, maybe that will be next" it was ! 🙂 8:09 "facial expression" "they are meant to be on stage" and right you were and you could see it again in the Road of Resistance reaction, it's on full display for anyone to see.
Ah, the progression of people‘s facial expressions when watching this video is so entertaining. First the „ooh, this is heavy“ Metal face, then the surprised „huh, dancing?“ frown, then the slightly ridiculing „what is this nonsense?“ laugh during the verse, then a „damn, this chorus is so catchy“ smile, followed by a continuous smile for the rest of the song (or in many cases, for the rest of their catalogue). The fact that the latter is one of the things that contributes to some people‘s hatred says all one needs to know about those people. Smiling young girls don’t belong in Metal! Keep thinking that, but I know who’s having more fun in the end. Interesting that you switched to a live version so quickly, as if you knew that those are (almost) always better. The recommended „Road to Resistance“ would be a great choice for the next one. It’s less playful, but an absolute masterclass live performance. It tends to get blocked, though, so you‘d be well advised to pause frequently and maybe use a semi transparent video overlay.
You're witnessing Yui the cutest girl on the planet ❤❤ bouncing around along her super cute voice and you want a better.? Better in what.? You will not be able to find anyone cuter than her in your entire life
Stage presence eh? Go for Ijime, Dame, Zettai Live in Sonisphere 2014 then. The three Babymetal girls - aged 15-16 at the time - have more metal cred in their cute frizzy tutus than any of these hateful metal wannabes who talk shit about them. Journey on down the Babymetal Fox Hole!. you will have your mind blown while smiling like crazy at the same time.
Band-Maid's fanbase is what keeps me away from the band's music. Their vile hatred for BABYMETAL (namely do to jealousy) is so childish. Even though the band members themselves like BABYMETAL, and are friends with the kami band members. Some fans go out of their way too to invade BABYMETAL reactions just to trash them while plugging Band-Maid. I see it often. I really don't understand why anyone has to put down another band just because they are more famous. Things like that make people NOT want to check out who you're plugging. Opposite effect than what they intended.
It always cracks me up when they plug Band-Maid on a Babymetal reaction by pointing out that they "play their own instruments". WOW! There's a compelling reason to check them out! What an original concept. I have a ton of respect for the band though. I have nothing bad to say about them and would certainly never go to a Band-Maid video to trash them. They just don't blow me away like Babymetal does.
@@jeffschreifels8651 It's just a real shame that all Japan music fans can't work together, and make ALL Japanese bands bigger by praising all of them. I try plugging 5 different Japanese bands all the time. Mainly do to the fact I dont see to many reactors reacting to them (Ningen Isu, Broken By the Scream, Brats, Passcode). So many that I love. At least Band-Maid, Nemophila, and Lovebites are getting quite a lot of eyes all the time. I like pushing the smaller ones so they can catch up.
I don't know if you like Anti-Idol music, but I'd love to see someone react to STUPiG by BiS. It's like Babymetal but a bit weirder. ruclips.net/video/gRaMsDyW-XQ/видео.html They do have a live version that's pretty good, but the video for the original version is intense.
Baby metal can really Rock !!! If you get a chance could you possibly react to plush they just released a new single and video 📸 called plush better off alone thank you so much 💕
I'm pretty sick and tired of people commenting on me changing the video. For clarification again for the complainers, my internet sucked and the quality of the video was absolutely terrible. Please stop berrating me for changing the version, I'm over seeing the comments about it
Ignore them young lady, numpties. everyone of them. If they want to see their own favourite version, post it!
Here is a video of the girls performing for the first time in front of 60,000 metalheads at a festival overseas.

Fun facts about this song
1. Metallica likes to sing and dance with the girls back stage to this song
2. Dragon Force has performed this song with them
3. Brian Weich from Korn has gotten on stage and performed this song with them
4. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have performed this song with them
5. Gimme Chocolate was named one of the most important metal songs of the last 10 years
6. In a recent interview Corey Taylor of Slipknot was asked who he listened to at home and he said “BabyMetal”
There is no better version of Gimme Chocolate than the one you started with.
Yeah, I don't get why she switched from the official live to a compilation. Oh well.
I like the performance at Download 2016 slightly more, but I know 1st one is pretty epic.
Yeah..Hmmmm 150+ million views (with Yui! ) and for her it wasn't a good version.
Stephen colbert version
It was a compilation. I saw Kano and Riho.
@@Codametal Thanks - small screen here and I'm 2 or 3 years overdue for an eye test and new glasses 🧐
@@Grington300 Yeah I also saw a snippet of Yui! ANd there was also some footage from the Legend S show!
Good complation spotting by all of you past nendo test 2022

@@ericifune5543 Without a doubt they always had good messages, especially for girls their own age.
Metal Resistance (Live in Japan) will be a good choice. Or try Headbanger (Legend of 1997 - live) ;-)
I suggest that you use the links below
From the Babymetal Reactor Resource ruclips.net/video/q40VmTHSh4c/видео.html
Going forward, if reactors want to keep reacting to the videos, I've come up with a solution that will make it possible to continue using the videos with logos that have already been tested against blocks.
I've made a spreadsheet - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZYdthVAHYaOAYL6AuhVOHotQinMoPPFEuspqDMIIGD4/edit#gid=0
with links to both the logo videos and the non logo videos and are hosing them on a Russian social media site that won't remove them, and is out of the reach of the copyright trolls. There are a bit over 30 videos on there now, but I'll keep uploading more every day until they're all back up. I'll also be adding new videos that I'll test on an alt RUclips account before adding to the spreadsheet.
If you can't access the spreadsheet for whatever reason, here are direct links to both the non logo videos and the videos with logos:
No logos - ok.ru/video/c6630874
With logos - ok.ru/video/c7184602
For reactors that want to put your own logo over the videos, here is a link to the logos I use that are already made transparent - drive.google.com/file/d/1JUVfJGp36xR2n1FHl7PzRIxXhA5P4VyW/viewor you can use whatever logo you'd like.
Check out Babymetal - Catch me if u can :) Its heavier but still funny :) But They really have more serious songs :)
if u want more serious - BxMxC, Kagerou, Headbanger, Road of Resistance
some heavy rap songs - GJ , Onedari
some rock ballads - No Rain No Rainbow, Rondo of Nightmare, Akatsuki
inidian rock - Shanti Shanti.
also they have techo-metal songs - da da dance , headbanger (night of 15 mix) (dubstep version of headbanger LIVE but they using backtrack there for effects)
also very popular songs from them - Megitsune, The One, Karate, Awadama Fever
PS: u must know smaaaall detail about this group. Group was formed in the year of 2010. lead vocalist was 13yo and two other girl was 11yo. Thats why versions from 2012-2014 way different then latest performances. They were very young at beginning. some songs better sound with small girls :) Some songs better sounding with mature voices :)
Lead vocal - Suzuka Nakamoto doing LIVE performances from 14yo.
Great reaction! Finaly someone doing a live version :D
Cheers!
@@bonhzeppelin55 that's so bizarre, Band Maid and Babymetal sound NOTHING alike at all lol
But yeah, I guess it's my fault for trying to look for reasoning behind hate. There never is any.
So I'm a Babymetal fan. I don't care for Band-maid myself, but I'm not gonna hate on them, why would I ?
@@Alicest.
Sad thing is a lot of hate comes from fans of other Japanese female bands ☹

More BM Pls..
Headbanger ruclips.net/video/QEsOaMbNFww/видео.html
IDZ ruclips.net/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/видео.html
More Babymetal please..
It was SU 16th Birthday, and YUI and MOA were 14 :)
Welcome to the foxhole. Another banger by them is Ijime Dame Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014 🔥🦊🔥
That was awesome! They definitely put on a show! I feel like had similar reactions as I was watching/listening😂
There is nothing in this world like Babymetal live. The metal resistance continues its fight. Babymetal #notacult.😁🤘🦊🦊🦊
The metal resistance is over. So sayeth Babymetal.
In some ways, Babymetal is more metal than them... metal genre is counterculture, Babymetal is counterculture inside the metal genre. 🙂
I love the meme face when you get to the first chorus at 2:20 😂 Welcome to the foxhole!
My same reaction. Head bopping, chuckling and grinning. Babymetal always brings that joy out of me. KITSUNE up!🤘🦊🤘
Babymetal was meant to be group to get more young girls to be interested in metal music, so they combine Jpop with different genres of metal. 🤘🦊🤘
Babymetal is always better live!
BABYMETAL live is LIFE
BABYMETAL FOREVER

Hello , check Arkadia , Amore or Road of resistance ... fast tracks !!! ;)
I agree with MEGITSUNE and KARATE. Personally, I prefer music video at BxMxC as well
🤘🦊🤘 Welcome to the Fox Hole.
Hi.
Smiling after Babymetal means that you are alive.
🦊👯🦊🇯🇵💮💮💮🇯🇵🇯🇵
"But misery loves company" Nailed it XD
if you want to see how young these ladies were when they started doing this, check out the official video for _doki doki morning_
Good reaction but incomprehensible change of version.
I've been a metal head for over forty years and I love this shit, it's different
PLEASEEEEE WE WANT MORE BABYMETAL REACTIONS !!!!!
Good job switching away from the official MV: that gets blocked a lot lately xD
That MV you saw at the beginning was footage from their live show in 2013 when the Main vocalist just turned 16 and the other 2 girls were 14, and that video became viral in 2014 letting the world discover them :)
BABYMETAL Live = Greatness!
Gimme Chocolate was fun, but was probably one of their more divisive songs... as they matured, I think they were more accepted by traditional metal heads, while maintaining their other fans as well.
It's just too many haters afraid of the future.
Welcome to the Foxhole 🦊🤘
They're amazing! They got me back into listening to metal. It's so refreshing to have music that is heavy with driving beats AND they're all smiling, dancing and having a good time. These songs really lift my mood. You should try Road of Resistance Live From Japan or BxMxC next. Both are super hype songs.
To the other Kitsunes: Is that the LA Forum audio?

So I was sort of right. The LA Forum is in there.
great reaction
I call this song like a something music transformation. Kawaii idle x heavy metal = new value for us ever 🔥
Check out the live performance of this on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert (it's here on RUclips) - he literally has no idea what's going on.
How dare you there IS no better version than this!!!
MoMetal always joking with SuMetal it wasn't supposed to go around there and stick her finger on SuMetals ear
Regardless of the childish lyrics of their early songs, the band is rock solid and the singers bring epic levels of energy and stage presence.
Just like explained in an old interview:
__
Q: What was the inspiration for creating something so different?
“[I was hoping] to incite that strange feeling that makes you go ‘what is this?’” KOBAMETAL explains, going on to give a concrete example; “Like the movie Kill Bill. I think Tarantino probably really likes Japan, and he worked hard on reproducing that in the movie, but it’s just slightly off, right? Still, it has a lot of originality.” For KOBAMETAL, that’s where the entertainment is. “[If] we were to do just straight metal-having the girls screaming-it probably wouldn’t be as interesting!”
__
I'm not a musician, while their are lots of bands in metal who are doing incredible things. ..but as a non-musician I have a hard time appreciating it, because they sounds like an other band I already know.
Babymetal on the other hand gives me new and interesting perspectives on metal with pretty much every song.
You need to see their "live" of "Head Banger" or "Catch me if you can". Even the live compilation videos are great because you get a good look at multiple concert performances and just how crazy they get.
OH and don't forget the BxMxC Bruxelle fan cam version. I like that more then the proshots and mv of that song...
Or road to resistance
@@davidornberg Watching Riho in the Sweden fancam is amazing too.
React more babymetal 🦊🦊🦊🦊
yay! the live version. Finally.
Oh, it's a compilation. Alas...
More reactions to BABYMETAL Please! Every son are a LOT Diferent
So what if they don't follow some unwritten rule about what metal should be. The fact that these cute little jpop girls are paired with a bad ass metal band and are holdin their own, killin it on stage, is one of the most metal things about them.
Great song!!!!
Babymetal - Karate
All the heater comes form elitist says women can’t be in metal
It's just so catchy!!! Polished performance.
GIVE ME MORE!!!!!!!!! 😁
you must listen 'Road and Resisten' and 'Headbanger' by BABYMETAL..
How dare they put young girls at the forefront of this kind of music.... Oh yeah, I love all the Babymetal hate and blah blah blah. These girls here are more grown up than those people, in my opinion. 😉
I have a very strong feeling you'll like 'Road of Resistance'. Even though it might be difficult to get the official version through, I strongly recommend it, as others have already done. There is no better one if you ask me. :)

Should always do a Live version (not compilation) where Mikio Fujioka (RIP) is on guitar
Yeah, live performances are 10x better. Official MVs audio are overproduced anyway.
8:09 "facial expression" "they are meant to be on stage" and right you were and you could see it again in the Road of Resistance reaction, it's on full display for anyone to see.

See you in the Mosh'sh pit!
Japan is different!!!!!
You're witnessing Yui the cutest girl on the planet ❤❤ bouncing around along her super cute voice and you want a better.? Better in what.? You will not be able to find anyone cuter than her in your entire life
❤️🔥✌️
Hello beautiful girl. Please react to BABYMETAL tales of the destinies. It's very good.
yeah i like the live ver , better! luv your reaction! keep up the good work'
Make metal some cute...hold my strawberry beer.
baby metal is awesome
Wow I just realized this video is a year old. Oops it's 2023? Been seeing this a lot lately. Are you still on You Tube?
Stage presence eh? Go for Ijime, Dame, Zettai Live in Sonisphere 2014 then. The three Babymetal girls - aged 15-16 at the time - have more metal cred in their cute frizzy tutus than any of these hateful metal wannabes who talk shit about them.
Journey on down the Babymetal Fox Hole!. you will have your mind blown while smiling like crazy at the same time.
🤘🦊🤘 BABYMETAL 🤘🦊🤘
/w Yui ... Miss you Yui! Tomato Princess
I don't think they get as much hate like they did in the past. If so, I hardly ever come across it.
It's like Babymetal but a bit weirder. ruclips.net/video/gRaMsDyW-XQ/видео.html
They do have a live version that's pretty good, but the video for the original version is intense.
live version if you want - ruclips.net/video/paqWZfl7t8I/видео.html
Baby metal can really Rock !!! If you get a chance could you possibly react to plush they just released a new single and video 📸 called plush better off alone thank you so much 💕
