- Since The Black Crowes formed in 1984, they have been keeping the classic styles of rock alive. Their authentic, raw, blues-oriented sound is still energizing rooms today.
For part 1 of this Helpful Honda Rock Room, frontman Chris Robinson and guitarist Rich Robinson sat down with Matt Pinfield and Marci Wiser for an in-depth interview. They explore the beginnings of The Black Crowes all the way up to their current endeavors, including their upcoming album “Happiness Bastards.”

I have always loved TBC with the new and old players. I see a lot of negative criticism, it's very easy to listen to other bands that make you happy.

The owners of KLOS have got to be out of their minds by firing Marci Wiser from the mid-day time slot.
1985, concert tickets on avg was $10-15...Now $200+++Starting. Bands on this level and higher are asking far too much from Fans. Trying to stay or get rich at Fans expense. No thanks...🎶🎵🎙
My tickets for last year's concerts was only $35. Idk where you live that they cost so much. TBCs this past year was only $50
@sandylmastin5268 the Crowes are usually reasonable. It's when they play with Aerosmith or something that it's $200
@@DeadFlowers69 I was fortunate enough to see Aerosmith 6 times. My tickets was $50 then! The two together will be at least $100.

Why has Marci been absent from the 10am to 3pm time slot on KLOS.? In fact. "Marcis Workout" is no longer even on, KLOS should at least give there longtime listeners an explanation.

I’ve been a fan forever but its really hard to take these guys seriously now. They didn’t speak and / or talked smack about each other for 10 years. Then, Neal dies and Chris needs a paycheck. Boom! BC is back together except without the band!

100% agree! I think we saw Chris's true colors (these days) when asked who he would like to cover their songs and he said "who can make us the most money?"
It's not even worth checking out. I dont think I'd listen to 'happiness bastards' if someone gave it to me.
