Appreciate the love for our guests, Sav and Keeks! We think they're great too. If we can refrain from commenting on them physically, that would be great. It's unnecessary and adds nothing to the value they have as knowledgeable and engaging guests. We know they're mostly well intentioned, but still unnecessary. We deleted a few comments already and would rather not have to make it a thing. Much appreciated!
Hey everyone! We noticed the echo too. It was odd because we didn't hear it in the post edit or other platforms but only here. Thanks for the feedback! We'll figure it out on future episodes.
I agree with Savannah that RJ and the young Raps need more guidance as to what constitutes a good shot. And as soon as we nail down a top 5 slot in the lottery, I'm sure Darko will start providing it. But in the meantime, let them work it out themselves.
This is not meant to be taken as a jab or slight but I feel like the Raps media/podcasters/personalities (hardcore fans too) all have a hard time grasping that this is a young team that's in their first full year of a rebuild. They're going to lose a lot of games, it just comes with the territory. When they hired Darko, they moved their long-time players for younger players and drafted 4 more young players, you should already know what's up. At this point in this season (and most likely next season too in all honesty), focusing so much on the standings and the end result of games (wins and losses) is not interesting or productive imo. The team is young, bad and injured. It is what it is. There's so many other things that could be emphasized more in these conversations like the process within the game, how players/coaches are improving or not improving, how the team can improve through development, trades, drafting, etc etc. This organization hasn't had a proper rebuild in over a decade so I get why it's hard to accept... but this is what a rebuilding team looks like.
@conlzn2921 I know which is why I don't listen to the pod as much anymore. I just feel like the emphasis on wins and losses is not that important when the team is clearly rebuilding. Anyway, just providing my feedback
Letting Fred VanVleet walk sent us into the abyss. He was Lowry's replacement he was supposed to be our leader not our best player but a mentor and guide for the young guys he had the championship experience. Far less players have been paid Toronto should have paid Fred.
oh wow, such retrospective rhetoric. At that time, no one wanted him paid that much, and when he signed with Houston there was a sigh of relief that we didn't pay him that much.
someone had to say it. such bad takes lol...hard to listen sometimes but gotta give the girls a chance. . seeing Will try to politely disagree is amusing,
@@hvacsquad4049 i agree, i'm just saying they are trying to uplift girls sometimes to a detriment when the reporter lacks quality information in this case. When she said she wants to keep bruce brown b/c of championship pedigree on a 7-20 team i laughed out loud. then suggested we will need a big trade package to get rid of him. Its concerning how off a team reporter could be on reality.

good pod, that reverb is insane tho
They going god mode.
Karaoke edition
Weird echo at 3:00
This was such a fun episode! Love Sav's passion and insight, and Keeks' vault of stats is DEEP. The guest rotation on this pod is insane.
Not Savannah being optimistic and Keeks being realistic, and Will just like "suuure"😂😂
What's wrong with Will's mic? Sounds like he's in a auditorium
Love the show but having 3 people talk at the same time is hard to listen to. Feels frantic at times.
I agree with Savannah takes as to why Raps are shooting so poorly at the rim. RJ tends to rush his shots at the rim especially in the clutch.

uhm dude Will talks about this literally after every game

@@amitkumar77172 i agree with you there dude, especially when the draft is a lottery and there's only a small % you retain the position you got.
The layup percentage is bad because they don’t get foul calls.
Savanna and Keerthika are so lovely and Will is pretty good too
One of my favourite episodes so far
Gradey is mostly shooting wide "open catch and shoot" and he's still bricking them
no he is not lol
38.6% on open and wide open 3s is not bricking them. These 3's also represent 41.9% of his shots or aka not mostly.
Sav so fine
Spell your guest name right in the thumbnail 😅
Thanks for the note! We're updating that now. We should definitely get that right.
Stay forever young Savanah!
49:29 lol
"you can't just be addicted to winning" CAP, WILL, CAAAAP
this podcast is live from a cave....

with Fred on this team they would be 7-20.
Talk about confusing correlation with causation.
Savannah is so uninformed 😢

@ girl or guy doesn’t matter to me but if you are the voice of a team you need to educate yourself

i turned this off after 20 mins it was too much for me
Sav Thick aka Money done quick. Hungry
Keeks? Pepper pot on deck. Hurry wit da Curry.
Saying we should keep bruce brown for his championship experience on a 7-20 team is a hilariously bad take. Amusing, because she was serious, but bad.
