My most radical tanking idea is to set up a panel of however many basketball sickos i.e., Zach, Lowe types that watch every team, and have them vote on the lottery odds based on how much the team needs and deserves the best odds. You would still have to miss the playoffs to be in the lottery, but it would incentivize trying to win games rather than shamelessly tanking.
I totally agree with the IQ take. While I'm very curious to see what this team looks like at full strength, IQ, Gradey and RJ are VERY poor defenders. While I think the offense could be top 10, the defense would be terrible. They'll never be a true contending team with that starting 5. Masai's gonna have to make some adjustments to get to championship contender level.

I think the NBA Cup winner should have automatic Home Court advantage for the FIRST ROUND, that way it is a more realistic goal for more teams
