Shane, can you make a video on submission defense?
A million subs coming soon Shane...
WOW Dangerous muaythai technic
Shane, I was wondering what is a good gear set up to buy for TKD. like boxing gloves, shin guards, foot guards, and head gear. What is quality but not to costly?
question: would putting a weight aroung your leg and practicing kicks make your kicks stronger or faster over time?
Gotta catch 'em all!!!
+FeLiCienE - Bar Brother Pokemuay!
aye Shane can u make a video on good muai tai strikes you can use in a street fight
Is there any other ways to counter Teep without catching and controlling your opponents leg? I've always had trouble against front leg Teeps when my sparing partner is a tall guy. I use to go in with a raised knee or sweep the teep but I'd like to know some cleaner methods.
700k Subscribers wow awesome !
aye Shane I got question what if your opponent moves alot what do u do
I'd like to see more counters for kicks like round house kicks etc
Only cuz those hurt when they really land on the body or head...
Could you please do how to fight like Enriko Kehl?
nice
+eBay Garcia Thanks man!
Hey Shane, pls an Video how to fight like Anthony Joshua
Do you have a streetfight playlist?
is there a better martial art between all them which one is better ? I like tae kwon do but there is no clubs near my place and there all really far away . which martial art is better between all of them please reply 😕
most Martial arts have something to offer, but best try doing a few , Brazilian jijitsu for grappling , Muay thai for stand up striking and of course western boxing has plenty to offer, do a few different ones and pick the bits which suit your personal needs and your flexibility , shape and fitness.
when you go to turn your openent after they throw a front kick, you can also just parry the kick instead of catching it, it's faster for me at least and I don't have to worry about getting grabbed for a clinch from catching a kick. Then proceed to a back thigh kick, back kick or back hook.
if someone turns you, use the momentum to throw a spinning backhand. Won't stop a kick but it could make them flinch and Jack up the strike they would've thrown.
+Tyler Mohr You mentioned what I was going to answer with! Great point: the parry also works and I use that a lot, too. But like you said, you have to be wary of that spinning backfist counter like Nieky Holzken used against L'Houcine Ouzgni (11:10): ruclips.net/video/9ibsaK7EPDU/видео.html
Comeon shane!
I wouldn't say this is entirely not for beginners. The catch to sweep isn't that difficult once you teach the beginner to focus on breaking the posture, rather than the sweep itself. Sweeps were one of the first things I learned to get right with leg catches.
Also, Shane, if you could somehow get a lesson with Liam Harrison, you'd be very impressed with his ability to teach. I did a seminar with him and learned so much in a short space of time. There's also the fact he's considered the #1 Muay Thai farang, if that helps his credentials at all.
Shane make a video of how to use weight in a fight
Can you do a video on what to do when someone catches your kick?
I'll make one for ya!
Shane, could you make a video about karate?it would be interesting!
+Evangelos Georgiou Sure brotha! Anything in particular?
+fightTIPS it would be awesome if you make a video about shotokan karate or any other style!I am15 years old and I do karate 8 years and I would love to see a video about my favourite martial art! Thanks!

+fightTIPS yo Shane where you at wit that "how to fight like Julio Cesar Chavez.Sr" brotha, you know everyone wants to see it, please!!!!!!! (:
Question in kickboxing are side kicks hook kicks and spin kicks allowed?
Yeah. Technically, ANY striking art can compete and do well in kickboxing. You just gotta train to be able to do it. :p
Depends on the ruling/organization, but most of them allow those, yes!
how do you correctly clean your shin guards?
+sabino ovalle Alcohol wipes, dryer sheets, and air dry!
Can you use those with kickboxing or only muay thai?
Pretty sure u can but depends on academy
for muay thai advanced there are a lot more theese are all with the catch and lock start
i see a lot of Sanda/sanshou techniques here.
the first few sweeps with the undertook, then the 'J shape' takedown. They derive from Shuai Jiao and Taijiquan.
Yeah that's true
Loving the fact that you're getting scousers on this channel! First team Kaobon mow this!
Yes! Gotta get advice from trainers worldwide.
shane what's the most deadly martial art?
None.
muay Thai or bjj
How to increase your punching/kicking speed?
+patryk woloch Increase kick speed: ruclips.net/video/1fMK6AgJPWc/видео.html Increase punch speed: ruclips.net/video/YhcnIwVNiRw/видео.html
@Fighttips Please make a video talking about play fighting and how to end it! I think this is the most annoying thing because people like to play fight which can turn into a real fight and I just want to know a good safe move that will hurt but won't make them want to hit me back! Thanks
Croshhh Body shot
nice by the way where are you shane
Hey Shane ! Can you please make some more videos on how to deal with a Bully . I am being berbally bullied by my friends . Please make some more videos . Thank You .

5.practice 1.2 punches like jab cross and follow up with like a hook
6.learn some basic kicks like front kick in the stomach or head
7.sidekick more advanced ppl dont know what hits them
8.feel calm no stress

10. If ur fighting more than 1 guy go for only 1/2 max 3 punches and quick
And run away
Hope this help peace
✌️
berbals are the most severe form of bullying
+kapil busawah u mean verbals? Or what
Amari Ajrulla I'm being funny XD
what age did you start muay thai again? +fightTIPS
15
+fightTIPS Please have Jake mace on your channel.
+Abolfazl Faqirzade I'll contact him! Thanks for the suggestion man.
A lot of these are taught in karate.
Which brings me to my next point: Martial arts that work generally look similar to one another, with the main difference being technique preferences. Train karate like you would Muay Thai, and it'll look similar.
Great video, btw! Definitely more to Muay Thai than just striking and clinching.
+Nick Vázquez No they aren't, atleast not in my gym. Karate has 80% focus on the arms, hands and just in general punching. Sometimes kicking defense like these are tought, but that's pretty rare.
+iMagZ z I've done Goju ryu, and I've been taught these. Only thing I've never learned was ground game.
I hate to tell you this, but karate is NOT just punches and kicks, nor is it supposed to be.
+Nick Vázquez hey I train in goju Ryu karate and kickboxing! :D both are great arts
+Poke Man That's a bad ass combination. :D
Im looking for a martial art to start im very tall and i have long arms and legs anyone know what i should start?
Muay Thai in my opinion because you have a reach advantage over a lot of people.
Whichever one interests you the most! But yeah, sounds like you have a body for Muay Thai.
+fightTIPS thanks alot for the advice😄
What ever martial art you interested in but Muay Thai would be good to start in. Like me you're tall and wit long limbs. in the clinch you can use your height to kinda lean on the shorter opponent while in the clinch. Long arms = reach advantage over most people and good jabs and straight punches. long legs = mean, powerful kicks and being able to use the front kick and teeps to keep your opponent at bay much like how the jab is used in boxing and if your opponent runs into your teeps they might get the wind knocked out of them. So yea muay thai for sure.
Mauy Thai, kickboxing or taekwondo would be a great start
wait but isnt something wrong with the kick he threw they still hit you tho right?
I know they're kinda outdated, but you should do a draw my life video.
at 1:09 couldnt u just kick the back of the knee causing it to blow out the back of the leg and maybe making him fall
+BNS !!! Good question, and yes it COULD work. Watch our video on catching and sweeping kicks for optimum results: ruclips.net/video/Ttl5p4hrH38/видео.html
I'd already subscribed to warrior collective before and for a second I thought I was watching their video instead of fight tips
+Rooroo92 Great channel!
Both, including yours are great channels! :)
what to do if front kick is in the chest
How is this not for beginners? I go to a Thai boxing place about 5 miles from imperial Thai boxing and this is one of the first things they taught me when I was a beginner
+SuperDeathcom Before the stance, jab, teep? Usually spinning elbows and sweeps are taught later on, but right on!
Do you think street fighting works in mma
im not getting this i practiced but it cant stick in my head shane i need some keeeelppp
+BoFlex Gaming The video has only been up for like 6 minutes, brotha! Hahah drill it with a partner, at least 1000 times.
***** O.O ......
what if I'm left handed? or southpaw?
Are you allowed to kick in the back in muay Thai?
yep
Wou;d've been funny if after catching the kick he hit him with a clothesline from hell
lol good thinking. but it IS allowed right?
+firouz karim it's allowed, sure! If elbows are legal, a forearm strike is also legal.
notification squad
+Rory Glass Aw yeaaah
How to counter someonw catchinh your leg
I m not an expert, but when my trainer caught my leg during sparring, i always have my guard up and hopping.... and ready to throw my cross if he pull me toward him.
Jump into a head clinch and Knee with your standing leg. ;-)
If your stance is strong you can re-chamber and kick again. If you want I can make a video for it and go through some details.
Liverpool

How much money is in Muay Thai when it comes to fights ?
Not much
for superstars, It's about 3,000-4,000 $ a fight.
now, the question is how do I catch kicks...
Bonjour, comment ca va?
+iSwervz Hello!
I personally prefer to redirect the impulse of the kick with my arm and knock him out while he is unbalanced (It takes some time to learn tho)
+Joao Cardisus Parrying the kick? I like that, too! Just be careful of the spinning backfist counter.
+fightTIPS I usually take a slight step back before attacking to avoid surprise attacks, but good advice most of the time I spar people just try to regain their balance. I never thought about a spinning back fist :)
Seems like you have to eat the kick in the gut I guess unless you had perfect control of distance.
I prefer taking the kick on the stomach, while sliding backwards. This was you know for sure it's actually a kick, and not a feint (because if you drop your hands to catch like he demonstrates, you expose your face).
for a minute I thought he was speaking a other language
When I catch a teep, i smash their other leg that they are standing on with a teep
it's my second week at muay thai , am i begginer too ? :p
+CREATURE Haha yes brotha! Give yourself a few months, but start keeping these techniques in mind.
EARLY
+Adam Ali Getting that advanced Muay Thai worm.

Man Jack's legs are like a lady's. Shit.

+Art Golden exactly

Gotta start somewhere, brotha! You got this.
