Videos like this really do a service to those of who know we'll never be able to afford to splurge on a ps4 and decent tv but, we still want to enjoy the story, dialogue and cut scenes of a game. Thank you.
100% true. Tnx for all, but for the creator of the game, there's a point, wanna know if luna and noc would ever meet again.and also, i can't see insomnia to be rebuilt. Just commenting , sorry for d granmar.but also tbx for the person ir group who make this vid.
At 3:00:29 Noctis sheds a tear. I like to think that he was just overwhelmed by how much faith Luna had in him. Their relationship didn't need gushy words or extravagant gestures, I think this moment alone speaks volumes for them.
Heh... I remember saving up my money when I heard about this as being FF: Versus and FF:XV back in 2008... and that was before I entered the military. Now though... Sigh... I feel that I wouldn't even be alive to experience Final Fantasy in a VR universe... man, this is only PS4 but the experience is already breathtakingly stunning. I just hope the VR systems will be released when us, the 90's generation, are still in existence... I feel old suddenly.. sigh...
What a heart wrenching coming-of-age story. I cried after watching it. There was so much self-sacrificing love, loyalty, true friendship and genuine romantic love. The characters are phenomenal and unforgettable. Thank you for sharing this.
After all this years, I come back to watch the gameplay again. From the first scene alone makes my eyes go teary knowing what will happen to Noctis and people around him
Noctis is my favorite video game character of all time. He goes trough SO much shit, losing nearly everyone he cares for. He watched his kingdom and his home turn to ash and saw Ardyn destroy everything he ever loved. Yet he kept pushing on with the help of his closest friends (who may or may not have also died at the end) He was simply a young prince who had to grow up too fast to save his kingdom yet he understood his responsibilities and did them without complaining or becoming "edgy" *cough cough* Cloud *cough cough* He sacrificed himself for his kingdom and his friends... saving the world and destroying the daemons forever. He will forever be one of the best protagonists of all time. He is the literal definition of a tragic hero.
Okay, i liked your comment until you were hating on Cloud for being "edgy". What do you even mean? Did you only watch Advent Children with no background knowledge at all and just wrote him off as emo like many others? He's got a whole story of his own, mind you. It is totally unnecessary to compare both characters. I love Cloud and also Noctis for who they are. They are totally different, completely unfair to compare. I would defend Cloud by explaining more of his story, but honestly, it's 3:46 in the morning and i am too tired and lazy for this.
Neriah Rumi It’s funny that you mention that because a year or so after I made this comment, I downloaded the IOS port of FF7 onto my phone and started playing it. After completing the game, watching a playthrough of Crisis Core, and then subsequently watching Advent Children, I understood Cloud a lot more and realized his “edginess” made a lot more sense. (I also main him in Smash Bros Ultimate) Because of this, I’ve come to appreciate Cloud more as a protagonist and honestly prefer him in some ways over Noctis. The reason why I disliked Cloud when I made this comment was because I honestly thought FF7 and it’s story was overrated (in some ways it still is) and everyone and their mother wouldn’t shut up about Cloud and how great he is. On the surface, Cloud looked like an edgy teenager with a big sword that kids at Hot Topic would gravitate towards because he was “cool”. I had to understand the full story of FF7 and it’s subsequent prequel and sequel to get it. In some ways I found Cloud to be really relatable to some stuff I’ve had to go through in my own life and how I dealt with it for a long time was similar to how Cloud did in AC. I wish I could play the new remake that came out but alas I don’t own a PS4 and I’m not dropping that kind of cash because Sony wanted to be greedy and make it an exclusive for a year.
Thank you for writing this awesome comment. Noct is my number one favourite game character as well, because of what you beautifully described here. It seemed to me that many people misunderstood his character. To me, he’s one of the most interesting character ever because of how he develops through the game.
Miss AwAAdnevik Thank you for the positive reply! I agree completely that many misunderstood his character because they didn’t take the time to truly get to know him. He’s honestly one of the best fictional characters created in recent years and his development is great.
I love when you hear "Stand By Me" in the beginning there isn't much thought-- almost comical in a way to me, but during the credits it was the perfect sitting song, it brought me to tears.
I'd love that! I always watch anime with Japanese dub because it just feels and sounds better. No offence to English dub voice actors but no matter how skilled the voices feel like they don't match the characters. Will there be a regular game movie coming out soon as well? Story walkthrough I mean.
I feel like this is one of those games the reviewers will try to find flaws in because they don't want to succumb to the hype but gamers will enjoy. Already seeing the reviews at IGN and Gamespot and I just don't get it. Well all 3 of us here who have played it, enjoyed it immensely
I'm glad that you and Dreamcast Guy did an honest review about it. I'm not much of a hardcore RPG player but I do love a strong story driven and action oriented RPG gameplay style. Thanks for the review and the movie but like you said don't watch it and play the game first.
These reviewers over at IGN definitely are not to be taken seriously, I mean they gave planet coaster a higher score. In the coming months you'll probably see backtrack praise articles though when sales are through the roof.
Look, I'm a massive final fantasy fan, but the game definitely has major problems, like the absolutely boring side quests and rather bland world, but I can see why some people love, and some people don't love the game. So don't criticise other people's reviews, just because it doesn't match your opinion. The game certainly isn't for everyone, and you should respect that.
I would say it's definately lifeless. The world is pretty, but other than a monter every 2 miles, you're just walking in coimplete emptyness. They could at least add some non-enemy animals like birds or little snakes or something like that to fill these large areas
This story was truly a great one. The characters were so nice and the dynamic of the group was so great that the ending...I felt like it crushed my soul. Thank you for uploading that video.
Anyone who reads the comments is just asking to be spoiled so I'm not going to even bother with the spoiler warnings. When I started watching this, I was joking about how everyone dies at the end.......I didn't expect them all to die one bit. I literally cried.
I'm guilty asf, I told my friend that Tabata will definitely do it, he will kill them all, I know it would happen but I also know that he would make it as painful as possible even when you anticipate it, and Tabata, that jerk, he did it again. 3 times now: Crisis Core, Type-0, and FFXV.
The Solar Project it's the same as MGSV. A lot of people complain about delays/missing content but I think both are immense. This, witcher 3 and MGSV probably are the better games of this gen
To me this is one of my top dubs from a video game! The voice actors really captured the characters emotions and all! When I first heard Noctis's English dub, I didn't like it. But when I finally got the game I was blown away! These guys are really good! FF15 is one of the best games I've ever played! It will go down as a classic! Just beat the game last night! If you don't have the game, wtf are you doing?! Go get it!
MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME: I'll keep this spoiler free for those of you who just came by for a peek. It's been 10 years since this game has been first announced, and for a while there it seemed like a game destined to be lost in the ether. There is a lot of anxiety amongst fans that this game will never live up to the hype; that it can't possibly climb the mountain of expectations that comes along with 10 years of build up. Make no mistake, Final Fantasy 15 not only lives up to the hype, but exceeds every expectation imaginable COMBAT: For those of you who played the demo, you have a good idea about how the combat works. On the surface, it's a fairly simple action RPG. Hold the attack button, and Noctis does all the work. But of course, at its core, it is a deeply complex system deeply rooted in RPG elements. You'll have to master different tactics for different enemies. You can craft spells, upgrade certain weapons, use different team tactics etc. Every enemy has different weapons/elements that they are strong and weak against. Against low level enemies, it's fairly easy to just hold the attack button and dodge every now and again. But against stronger enemies, you'll have to make sure to use the right weapons, parry, and use your team wisely. It's a brilliant system that is fun against both low and high level enemies. It helps that it looks amazing, and the animation always makes you feel powerful. That was one of the biggest issues with Final Fantasy XIII. The combat system was actually fun, but only once you got to higher level enemies. Against low levels it was downright boring. FF15 puts the power back in the players hands. STORY AND CHARACTERS: Final Fantasy stories tend to be pretty heavy handed on the melodrama. I'm happy to say that this game is light on that. It's still there for sure, but most of the story and characters felt natural to me. There is nice chemistry between the 4 companions, and genuinely amusing banter. I finished the main story in 25 hours. I was going at break neck speed, for the purposes of what we do on this channel, and I was definitely under level for much of the campaign. I can see a normal playthrough taking up to 35-40 hours if you take the time to be at proper level. The story is immensely satisfying, and is filled with humor, raw emotion, and has a real weight that makes you feel invested in the outcome. OPEN-WORLD: There are TONS of things to do in the open world. There are mini-games like an arena wager game, arcade games, Chocobo races, fishing and much more. There are innumerable sidequest, hunts, dungeons and secrets throughout the map. At this point, as a group we've put in over 60 hours in the game, and there is still so much to do. I feel like you can get a minimum of 200 hours out of the game if you wanted to find everything. Maybe even 300. There is always something to do to change the pace from what you're currently doing. OVERALL: There is no such thing as a perfect game. Every game has its flaws. Final Fantasy XV is not an exception. While the gameplay is much more fluid than it was in the demo, it can still feel sluggish at times. It helps if you have a PS4 PRO to make it smoother. Your teammates sometimes do dumb things that put you in danger like not reviving you when they're right next to you. Or Prompto rushing the enemy when he's a distance character. The camera can be wonky in tight spaces. I can see long time fans not enjoy the new battle system. The car can be really frustrating at first, until you start upgrading it. I have never been a hardcore RPG player, so I personally enjoy a more action oriented system compared to a turn based style. They definitely reached for a wider audience here. There are many flaws, BUT for this game, the sum is greater than its parts. To me, its not a question of whether this is the game of the year or not; that's a given. The question is, is this the game of the decade? Where does it rank along side the all time greats? I haven't had this much fun enjoying a game since Ocarina of Time. You get that same feeling when you first walk out on Hyrule Field. The boss battles are majestic. You feel that same awe you did when you first saw the Hydra in God of War. The story left me stunned and emotional at times. This game reminds you why you play games at all. Why you play through all the disappointments, why you keep playing even as you grow older. The sense of exploration and mystery always keeps you going. If you take anything away from reading this it's this: DON'T WATCH THIS VIDEO YET, PLAY THE GAME. EXPERIENCE THIS GAME, THEN COME BACK! To give this game anything less than a 10 would be an insult. At least for me, this is a masterpiece. 10/10
Personally, I loved it. Has some flaws, but I feel it's the perfect experience. I'm not a traditional RPG player though, so I think fans of traditional rpgs might be turned off by it. This is definitely an action RPG in the vein of Mass Effect and the Witcher.
I've never loved a game's story as much as Final Fantasy 15's. There's just something so honest and real about how Noctis had to sacrifice his own life to bring back a world he would never get to see again. I just wish the story and certain things within it were more fleshed out than what we got.
Does anyone else feel like the main plot of the story changes midway? Like I thought the point of this game would be to stop the empire, then it switches to stopping the Immortal Demon King.
Many things are unclear about this game. Why Ardyn helped Noct instead of killing him at the beginning when he was weak? Why at the end those ghosts killed Noct, he saved the world after all, there's no logic at that. Why They kept on that train after it was more than clear it was dangerous. Why Noct and others kept following that red haired bitch orders after he failed them many times? Why Regalia is so slow and hard to navigate?
@@arieswildchild Ardyn helped Noct instead of killing him because Ardyn wanted to die, and Noct was the only one who could do it due to being chosen by the Crystal(Noctis had to absorb the Crystal's energy for ten whole years). As for why Noct had to die, well Bahamut explains it, albeit in a lackluster way. "Many have sacrificed all for the King, so must the King sacrifice himself for all." Plus, killing Ardyn just physically wouldn't be enough because the guy literally could not die, so Noctis also had to defeat him on a spiritual level. Also, and this is just my theory, I think the kings passing through Noctis in the final fight took a deadly toll on his body. Noct looked like he was about to drop at any moment. The reason why the guys kept going was because Noctis chose to. Noctis understood that he had a duty that was greater then himself. It would be incredibly selfish and short sighted to just give up when you are the only one who can rid the world of an evil that it literally rotting it inch by inch.
if you play Episode Ardyn, you wuld understand why. and its actually one of the best plot twist of all the game i have played. whats more amazing why it turned out like this if you watched the Omen Trailer and you wll understand why0
It actually was the whole time. It naturally changed at the end where Ardyn went on his own terms. Now if you want a Final Fantasy game with a mixed plot, look at 7.
This was an incredible journey that left me in a flood of tears by the end, and I'm so grateful that this was uploaded for me to experience as close to the game itself as possible. The ending - damn. Thank you!
this is honestly the best final fantasy instalment I've seen so far, love the story, love the mechanics and love the graphics. there's nothing more an rpg lover like myself could ever wish for other than be there myself.
I know this game has been pretty polarizing. Which makes sense; it was pretty all over the place. I personally loved it, but I do acknowledge that it has several major flaws. But here's the one thing that really gets my goat, the only thing I'm really going to rant about (SPOILERS): *Deeeeeeep Breath* Where. *THE HELL*. Were all of those scenes from the trailers that weren't in the game!?!? - Remember Regis and Noctis eating at the table? - Remember the old general (who had a whopping one line NEVER appeared again) marching with all those soldiers? - Remember the shots of young Luna and Noctis running from soldiers? - Remember Ravus wearing a hood and saying some cryptic shit? - Remember Noctis possibly killing Luna and Regis talking to a demonic voice? - Remember Regis HOLDING HIS YOUNG SON AND CRYING OVER HIS FATE WHILE THE GODS LOOKED DOWN ON THEM!?!?!? Holy Christ, where were all of these brilliant scenes!? It's not like they were from back when this was Versus XIII. These were AFTER it was already being made as XV! Why in God's name would they not be included? What, were they JUST for the trailer? Like, we had to watch them to get the full context of everything? I sure hope not, because that is fucking asinine! I just don't understand it, guys. This game had me so completely hooked with it's story all these years. I was so ready to see where it was going. I cannot comprehend what would lead them to just GUT such an incredible story. You can still see parts of it in the final product; the scene of Luna's death is hauntingly beautiful, and the ending is absolutely PERFECT in its emotional weight. It's as if they had a complete and masterful plot, and then just stripped it down to its bare bones. Why? WHY!?!? Is is because of us? Did we demand it too quickly? Were all these years still not enough for them to realize their story, but they were forced to just shove it out before it was ready because they'd sunk too much money into it and the fans were all tired of waiting? Listen, I like this game. I really do. I like it a LOT. Even after all that I've said, I still think it was worth the wait. It's sheer scale and the way it improves upon the genre is awe-inspiring. It's one of the best games I've ever played, but because of that, it's also one of the most disappointing. Having such a grand game being nakedly unfinished is so saddening, and the developers LYING to their fans by showing us glimpses of a story that never comes to pass is practically insulting. This was a fun experience, but I can't deny that there's a sour taste left in my mouth when all is said and done, and for someone who was so patiently waiting for this for so many years, that is a truly saddening thing.
You're absolutely right and reading your comment has made me so frustrated that so much content is missing! The backstory would have helped tremendously because as a player, who may not have seen Kingsglaive, we don't even know what Insomnia looks like or why we should care about it, or Luna for that matter. Without any context or history everything falls flat. -.-
Not necessarily- it was called Omen because the gods were showing Regis what could happen to Noctis without anyone to guide him. And that could have been a key point for a game with the theme of brotherhood.
Plotwise, it doesn't fix much, you're right. But it gives you a tiny bit of context of what exactly the guys are fighting for. We see the city they miss so much, we see some of the conflicts that were going on in Insomnia, we see the King's sacrifice, we see the power of the Crystal at work, we see the actual empire doing evil stuff... which, by the way, we don't really see until Chapter 13 in-game... and then it's only if you actually read the lab reports that are scattered around the place. So while I see where you're coming from, it does help to give some weight to concepts that are otherwise just "evil empire", "dead dad", "nice hometown" and "deus ex machina Crystal". Would have been nice to know that watching Kingsglaive was pretty much necessary before I played the game though. Btw, not giving them an out for not actually putting any of this in the game. That was pure lazy bullshit. Or the dev team not being given time to finish their game. You know, both of these things.
I cried ever since Luna died until the end... Goddamn the capfire scene in the end got me the most... I love how emotional this game is. I thought I will hate the ending, but I don't... Noctis got his happy ending, although without his friends... But overall, I enjoyed it
Thank you very much for uploading. The scenes were beautiful, acting was superb, and the story was truly moving. Ignis must've been chopping onions in that campfire.
Best FF in a very, VERY long time. I would definitely place it where 6, 7, 9 and 10 sit. easily. Also..dat leviathan saga. One of the best parts of the game combat and story-wise.
I remember playing this for the very first time and tearing a lil at how persistent the King was with Notc at the last minute. So much so, you'd instant think it's their last talk and after all these years I'm still tearing up at the scene 😭😭😭
I'm really busy most of the time and knew I would never get a chance to sit down, play, and enjoy the story. This playthrough was fantastic. Thank you so so much!
Noctis grasping for a dying luna and the camp fire scene gets me everytime! Really like the train scene after altessia too. Too many good cut scenes for so little there actually is.
Best of the best story... emotional in ending...funny in between. Friendly and awesome events. Superb fights and suspense thriller. I am a Final Fantasy fan for sure!!
This was a fantastic game to play. I was in tears at the end of the game. I completed this game over the summer. I actually enjoyed some of the side quests. Final Fantasy XV!!!😎
After playing the game, watching this just stabs my heart. It starts out so happy go lucky and then progressively gets darker. I was devastated after I played this game. I couldn't bring myself to load it up for about a month. I will forever love this game.
After ending watching it I just tell to my self one thing "Please dont cry, please dont cry..." - this game became my favourite of all time, along with Metal Gear Solid, The Witcher, Skyrim, Assassins Creed (with Ezio), Devil May Cry & many others. I really hope that people will love this game as I loved it. Final Fantasy 15 - for me its FUCKING 10/10 !!!! I will definitely play it when the time comes.
Arthur's Little World I straight up cried for 3 hours the ending was sad but what got me was the campfire scene.... then the "beginning" in the backround with that song... just tore my heart out
This really ought to be adapted into a TV series. Just imagine the cash to be made with a story such as this that appeals to both Final Fantasy fans, casual gamers, movie goers, and so on.
"For a moment I felt death's chill wind, such is the might of the gods." "...But then, I remembered I'm immortal. Such is my blessing and curse." Best villain line and the best wtf moment in game for a long time.

I'M MORE THAN HAPPY TO TELL YOU EVERYTHING I KNOW.
Seems more like a Kuja situation, really. Where the Emperor isn't actually the main villain after all. (Also, he shows up in gameplay and such, so it's not NOTHING.)
GZilla311 of course he wasnt going to be the main vilain, everyone knew it was kefka, i mean ardyn. But you cant just show characters once, in general i mean. It would have been nice to know how he died, his reaction, motives. Same for the old captain, i forgot his name...i wonder why
Gg!! That was great. Man this was the best looking final fantasy game and the change in gameplay marked a new era huh. Thank you for posting this so I could see the story play out myself.. Even though it's not perfect, but I could appreciate that it had so much potential and they were working so hard on it already
Such a grand and emotional tale. I am not a huge of Final Fantasy but if this is the stories then I have play some of there games. I can't play the new ones because I can't afford it but I definitely will give there older games a try. Thank you for taking the time to upload this I would have never to experience this without you.
Thank god for that, I don need to play it to see all the cutscenes while I got someone who plays it for me at youtube. Save so many money not to buy PS4 and a game lol
herman lau Lol I watch the cutscenes to get a grasp on the story. I mean, the gameplay is usually awesome, but the story is a wierd amaglamation that needs a lot of analysis on it's own...
I just about broke when he asked to take a photo. "Off my chair, Jester..." his time in the crystal turned Noct into such a badass EDIT: Okay so I dunno why this might have happened, but my mid-credit campfire scene was a bit different? Noct stood up before he said the "you guys are the best" line and it STRONGLY hinted at Ignus being able to see by showing a blurry to in-focus shot of Noct from about where Iggy was sitting and later showed him following Noct with his eye as he stood to say that last line
I finally played this game, a whole year after it was first released. I somehow managed to avoid most spoilers, which is kind of feat these days. I have to say, usually the story of a game feels irrelevant after a year post-release. But this one... this one feels so much more relevant now than it probably was a year ago. I can hardly imagine how lighthearted a playthrough last year would be. The past 80 hours I put into the game felt so heavy with real-world parallels. It's been a ride, a test, and an inspiration.
I didn’t finish the game back when i first played in 2018, since then I play a Chapter very randomly. Now this video helped me regain interest and feel everything as if I just played! Thank you! Keep it up!
WHAT!!?? already cutscenes movie out?? u guys are always so fast ty for this since i dont like the combat style but i do love the story u guys have no idea how much i love ur story cutscenes movies ty very much for this.
People bash this game and, in some ways I get it (we could have got a completely different game, etc etc) but I came here to watch this because I frickin' loved this game. Playing it not long after release, taking hours to do all the side content, I got so invested in the characters and the story - its such an emotional story. I'm playing through it a second time on the PS5 and its still just as good ❤
man, people say the story was bland, but i've seen the movies, I've watched the game (cause i can't play it myself) and I find myself crying very very often. Even now, at the "Walk tall, my son" i shed a tear knowing what's next, how can people say the story is bad D:
it is bad because of its storytelling. If you see previous FF games, they were better than this. I admit this game has more mature character designs, but well, it really did disappoint me.
They should really patch in the shield magic from the movie, and add it in as the default block animation for huge attacks like blocking the blows of Titan during his battle, literally makes no sense that he's able to block those blows of a literal mountain coming down on him by simply holding his sword in front of him. Shield magic would not make perfect sense ether, but at least blocking a titanic blow with a magic barrier makes more sense then blocking it with just your regular human arm strength.
I think Arydn is my favorite video game villian of all time, and probably the best thing about the game. Especially now that I've looked into his lore.
I don't have a PS4... don't even know when I'll get one... So I watched the whole video. I have to say... It's a pretty awesome Final Fantasy game. I loved how the ending was neutral and happy at the same time. Kinda feel like a mature Final Fantasy game - not saying the other ones were childish. Hell, the 8th one is and will always be my favorite game of all-time. But I felt that amazing feeling of respect and enjoyment in FFXV. Don't know how to describe it in another way I loved how the story is not really that complicated - and how the 4 main characters have so much chemistry with one another. Thanks for sharing the video. I'll definitely buy it when I got my hands on my PS4.
After finishing the game yesterday I have to say it's really not as bad as it's made out to be. Granted, the story feels rushed. But once you get to chapter 5 or 6 it hits every beat I expect of a Final Fantasy game. And boy, are there fantastic scenes in it. I think with better pacing the reveals would have made the game one of the best in the series.
i actually feel like for our main protagonist, this might be a better ending for him (for the story) that he grew up and face and accept the fate given to him by those astrals and reunited with his beloved. But I understand the alternative ending makes people feel better because noctis still lives.
God damn.... If this wasn't depressing idk what is! Beautiful story telling, that got me engaged and made me care for the characters. Outstanding work! And the last few scenes were just... I was sitting in front of my laptop, teared up, while my GF entered the room and when she asked me what was going on, i just replied you wouldn't understand. Truly a great story driven game. Good fucking job Square Enix !
It took me only a week to beat this game (Chapter 8 Free Roam Frenzy) but it still managed to give me hella nostalgia when I heard the voice lines again from the car pushing opening during the ending scene
Videos like this really do a service to those of who know we'll never be able to afford to splurge on a ps4 and decent tv but, we still want to enjoy the story, dialogue and cut scenes of a game. Thank you.
Dakuu75 yes I agree thank you very much.
Same cant afford a PS4 and the game.
your comment hits in the feels lol
Play the pocket edition!!
100% true. Tnx for all, but for the creator of the game, there's a point, wanna know if luna and noc would ever meet again.and also, i can't see insomnia to be rebuilt. Just commenting , sorry for d granmar.but also tbx for the person ir group who make this vid.

Andrew Sin 😂😂😂
Such a good dog.
Didn’t he like cross the ocean a few times😂😂
I think he teleports hes a magic dog afterall
Damn straight he was... F***** up, he didnt get his own DLC episode..
The campfire scene at the end will forever be one of the saddest things ive ever seen in any video game ever. :(
Moisty so true
I cried the most manliest of tears...
Totally with you there on that one.
I don't understand...can you explain to me why it was so...such a "powerful" feeling?
I thought that scene could've been done a lot better to make it more emotional
At 3:00:29 Noctis sheds a tear. I like to think that he was just overwhelmed by how much faith Luna had in him. Their relationship didn't need gushy words or extravagant gestures, I think this moment alone speaks volumes for them.
I-
I NEVER NOTICED THAT
THANK YOU .
Nah, I actually felt emotion when Noctis gave back Lightning her sword in Dissidia NT.
10 years go by and they're still wearing the same clothes...
What if that's their favorite clothing so they just have many of the same things? LOL
John Snake ain't no time to go shopping for clothes when the whole world's gone to shit
Yeah, how about some new outfits for them to equip after all that time?
tbh relate tho
Heh... I remember saving up my money when I heard about this as being FF: Versus and FF:XV back in 2008... and that was before I entered the military.

More than 5 hours. Well who needs sleep anyway
if only Square Enix Final Fantasy Films are this long..That would be great.
More than 5 hours? More than worth it.

After all this years, I come back to watch the gameplay again. From the first scene alone makes my eyes go teary knowing what will happen to Noctis and people around him

Shadow of Dread I liked him too.
Neriah Rumi
It’s funny that you mention that because a year or so after I made this comment, I downloaded the IOS port of FF7 onto my phone and started playing it.
Miss AwAAdnevik
Thank you for the positive reply! I agree completely that many misunderstood his character because they didn’t take the time to truly get to know him. He’s honestly one of the best fictional characters created in recent years and his development is great.
*Noctis and Gladio screaming with each other*
People in the train: 👀👀👀
Lol
I love when you hear "Stand By Me" in the beginning there isn't much thought-- almost comical in a way to me, but during the credits it was the perfect sitting song, it brought me to tears.
Let us never forget the most important death in this entire game...
RIP Regalia :(
I think the Regalia was the only character worth caring for in this entire game.
AGREED
it WHAT?
Yup it's a car in which they shared big memories so I kinda understand why you think it's an important "character" :)
Oh how I wish I could make a car replica just like that it would be awesome
We're thinking about doing a Japanese dub version. Wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing that?
I'd love that! I always watch anime with Japanese dub because it just feels and sounds better. No offence to English dub voice actors but no matter how skilled the voices feel like they don't match the characters. Will there be a regular game movie coming out soon as well? Story walkthrough I mean.
hell yeah man, that would be splendid! as long as it has English subtitles ;) I'm good hehehehehe........
Forgot to say thanks :D
The Japanese ver is more better in character's voices though. You should do it. I'll very happy to see it :)
Gamer's Little Playground it'll be great
please do a japanese dub with english subtitles version
A higher score than what? FFXV? Than RCTW? Because if it's the latter, makes complete sense.
Same. No Final Fantasy game had ever made me feel that way!
Legit cried my eyes out...this game is awesome and it has a great story plot. Definitely 10/10.
Same
Anyone who reads the comments is just asking to be spoiled so I'm not going to even bother with the spoiler warnings.
3 times now: Crisis Core, Type-0, and FFXV.
who died ? i thought luna and noc just died
ookam95
Basically the main cast died.
ookam95 The other cast didn't die.. Noct gave up his life to purge the daemons thats why he had to die.
And yet Tabatha himself confirmed that the friends are alive. I hope we get an update story on them one day.
"Don't think being married will give you an excuse not to work out."
"That...came out of nowhere." 1:13:29
XD LOL
I'm not a guy for it, but I cried on the end. This game is going among the legendaries, I can tell.
it better be going among the legendaries after waiting for 10 fucking years
Yeah, that was literally the end of the Lucis Reign since Noctis didn't have an heir. Also, Insomnia is without a King now.
The Solar Project it's the same as MGSV.
A lot of people complain about delays/missing content but I think both are immense.
This, witcher 3 and MGSV probably are the better games of this gen
feel the tears coming...until u see Ardyn's smug face in the final picture
John Carver and then you feel the anger and hate, i LOVED ardyns character, and i loved this entire game's story
All I gotta say is 4 years later this still one of the best games I've ever played an will most definitely play it in the future
Go get it!
Для меня это вовеки лучшая игра в истории!
TheDontay21 the voice acting in this game is really shitty it bugs me alot. final fantasy vii crisis core had the best voice acting imo.

MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME:
I'll keep this spoiler free for those of you who just came by for a peek.
It's been 10 years since this game has been first announced, and for a while there it seemed like a game destined to be lost in the ether. There is a lot of anxiety amongst fans that this game will never live up to the hype; that it can't possibly climb the mountain of expectations that comes along with 10 years of build up. Make no mistake, Final Fantasy 15 not only lives up to the hype, but exceeds every expectation imaginable
COMBAT: For those of you who played the demo, you have a good idea about how the combat works.
Dont Trust IGN they hate JRPGs. 8.2 i find insulting in my opinion.
i agree with you 1000000%
How does it stack against FF6 and FF9?
so thiese cut scenes include only main story, and no side quests cut scene?
"city of insomnia"...? so, literally, "the city that never sleeps"? lol
I was thinking the same thing!!!
Treno city reference? lol
Treno!
yep
Noctis' full name means Night Sky I think
And then Noctis goes to sleep for a 1000 years
and wakes up in his throne to see Lightning come over and say "That's my seat."

I've never loved a game's story as much as Final Fantasy 15's. There's just something so honest and real about how Noctis had to sacrifice his own life to bring back a world he would never get to see again. I just wish the story and certain things within it were more fleshed out than what we got.
I nearly passed out when Aranea mentioned Biggs and Wedge.

This needs to be created into a movie. It is so good.
HOLY FUCK, IVE NEVER PLAYED A SINGLE FF BUT I JUST GOT DECKED IN THE FEELS ON A LEVEL I DIDNT THINK WAS POSSIBLE.

Yeah but we already all knew it would happen in crisis core :P
M41A1 same
I know this game has been pretty polarizing. Which makes sense; it was pretty all over the place. I personally loved it, but I do acknowledge that it has several major flaws. But here's the one thing that really gets my goat, the only thing I'm really going to rant about (SPOILERS):
*Deeeeeeep Breath*
Where.
+farynh you can watch kingsglaive at kissanime.ru, the movies hype
I've seen it- aside from being beautiful, it still doesn't fix much plot-wise
But overall, I enjoyed it
I didn't really understand the ending, so Noctis and Luna died and the final scene is like in heaven or something ?
I never was a FF fan, but this game is a masterpiece, really. Thank you for making the film.
Thank you very much for uploading. The scenes were beautiful, acting was superb, and the story was truly moving. Ignis must've been chopping onions in that campfire.

So the emperor, one of the apparent main antagonist, is only in one fuking cutscene?
He has more screen time in the movie than the game, kinda weird when you think about it, in the movie he was so menacing but in the game.......
walter soprano yup.

I just about broke when he asked to take a photo. "Off my chair, Jester..." his time in the crystal turned Noct into such a badass
EDIT: Okay so I dunno why this might have happened, but my mid-credit campfire scene was a bit different? Noct stood up before he said the "you guys are the best" line and it STRONGLY hinted at Ignus being able to see by showing a blurry to in-focus shot of Noct from about where Iggy was sitting and later showed him following Noct with his eye as he stood to say that last line
Freakin love this game. Now at the top of my list of not just video games.. But all story's period.
Thank you! Keep it up!
I'm watching this like a movie. Thanks for sharing!

man, people say the story was bland, but i've seen the movies, I've watched the game (cause i can't play it myself) and I find myself crying very very often. Even now, at the "Walk tall, my son" i shed a tear knowing what's next, how can people say the story is bad D:
it is bad because of its storytelling. If you see previous FF games, they were better than this. I admit this game has more mature character designs, but well, it really did disappoint me.
OMG that was the most depressing FF ever. Awesome but sad. Loved it! Thanks GLP for the Game movie 😁
One of the best games I played. Sniff, I wish the ending was happier though...so tragic.
They should really patch in the shield magic from the movie, and add it in as the default block animation for huge attacks like blocking the blows of Titan during his battle,
literally makes no sense that he's able to block those blows of a literal mountain coming down on him by simply holding his sword in front of him.
Shield magic would not make perfect sense ether, but at least blocking a titanic blow with a magic barrier makes more sense then blocking it with just your regular human arm strength.
The gemstone the crystal has magical power and noctis blood is infused with the crystalline power his life is linked to the crystal
Don't know how to describe it in another way
I loved how the story is not really that complicated - and how the 4 main characters have so much chemistry with one another.
Thanks for sharing the video. I'll definitely buy it when I got my hands on my PS4.
Miguel Marques did you get a ps4 or an xbox now bro?
i dont want to give in
Do you have a PS4 now? The PS5 is about to come out soon.
Had any luck getting a PS4?
We need your update!! Im just like you
I've NEVER cried from a video game before but this one has me crying so much!! The feels! And it's a good thing!!!
3:09:29 Apocalypsis Noctis
3:14:43 The most heartwrenching and Beautiful Scene 😢
3:16:00 😭
3:17:50 Back with us?
Thanks for this, my fiance never found time to complete the game so I showed her this instead. The feels really hit you at chapter 9
Totally didn't cry at every character death...... nope
By far one of my favorite gaming channel on RUclips. Keep it up homie!
I WAS UNGODLY CRYING BY THE END THAT WAS INCREDIBLE
It makes me shed my tears after watching the whole things.😭😍
10/10
That cutscene at around 2:01:00 though 👌🏼 done soooo well! Rewatching this after finishing the game :')
