What makes Arkham Origins so great: 1. Batman's suit looks like actual protective armor rather than leather that *might* be thick enough to stop a knife. 2. The trailer looks like it could have been live action. 3. People thinking batman is an urban legend is oddly satisfying 4. It was one of the better games to play on the Wii U. 5. DeathStroke looks awesome and is probably the best boss fight in the game (and arguably the hardest). 6. The Batwing has never looked more cool. 7. Introducing the villians at the start of the game. 8. Stopping Bane's Heart. 9. Starting Bane's Heart. 10. Bane turning into the hulk. 11. Inside Joker's mind.
1. Because the costume is a costume. The armor is typically UNDER the suit, not the suit itself. Making it look more like armor makes it look less like supernatural creature of the night, which defeats the whole purpose in the first place of being Batman and not just any other random vigilante.
Batman had heavy armor as he wasnt an skilled at that time but he switched to the suit he used in asylum and city becuase he was more skilled at that point so the padding just slowed him down but in knight they found a way to make a stronger suit that also let him be faster
This game just might be my favorite one in the series. It gets criticized just because Rocksteady didn't make it? I love Rocksteady but they neglected the concept of boss fights in Arkham Knight with the overuse of the Batmobile. I like Knight, but it could learn a lot from Origins. Origins also had the best side quests, with great boss fights.
I want this Bruce/Alfred dynamic in the Matt Reeves Batman film. I want a young Batman still just full of fury and rage, blind to the need to accept help, and an Alfred who recognizes he's in too deep and not prepared for what's being thrown at him. That line about him being the reason criminals breathe easy when the sun rises is fucking gold.

It's because everyone possessed an inherent bias due to the traditional developers of the Arkham series, Rocksteady was not making it. Instead, it was WB Games. I still love it just as much as the other Arkham games

This game has my personal favorite bat suite. It looks so awesome and I love that they put that costume in Arkham knight. Sure this game has problems and isn’t the most polished in the Arkham series but I believe that this game shouldn’t be overlooked. The soundtrack is absolute fire and is my personal favorite Batman game soundtrack. I’d pop this game in any damn day because it can be really fun. Sure the assets from Arkham city are reused in this games city but it could have been so much worse. We could have gotten a game that’s mostly focused on the bat mobile like Arkham knight did, and we all know how that turned out.

Black Mask deserved better in this game. We've already seen Joker enough times in my opinion, and Black Mask has more than enough originality and character to be the main antagonist in a game.
It's a well rounded and fun game in the series with a multiplayer that was pretty awesome, idk that I'd say it's the best Arkham game but it is pretty good
A neat little detail is at the beginning with batman going Deathstroke and when Deathstroke pulls out his second sword, you can see the sniper glint from Deadshot from the bridge behind them

Hell with this game, these are all the emotions i had in the first hour of origins. In the end origins is a solid game, voice acting great plot great and it holds the crown of being the only batman game with a fucking BATCAVE!!!!!!!!!
While it didn't bring anything major to the franchise, this game actually kicked ass, save some glitches that stop progression. But it had a gripping story, some cool ass character design, and a very dark atmosphere. Really stuck with me more than Arkham Knight.

None of the consoles ran it at 60fps, that's why it looks so smooth. I really love this game, by the way, much like everyone else in the comments here. I think it's biggest problem was the fact that it wasn't developed/released by Rocksteady, and especially because they used different voice actors for Batman and Joker. I do have to say that it has benefited with time, much like other games like Mad Max there were either ignored when released or completely shit on for no good reason. Nowadays, however, they get really high praise from almost everyone who has played them.

This version of Bane was by far the best of the Arkham games. Easily the best villain in Origins.
